I love that she asked for allergies and then gave me a menu marked up with what I couldn't eat.Ordered the Plant Powered Lunch, which included a starter, signature dish, and a dessert. It’s a clean no frills place that offers good amount of specialty rolls and great Sashimi and Nigiri sets.They don’t take reservations and it is small, but seems like turn over is pretty fast. Definitely a place to try if you want decent sushi this side of the burbs.Parking: There is paid parking in front of the building or if u go about half a block down, free parking in front of the houses.“

The table that was meant for us was still occupied by some slow self-absorbed instagrammers well over their allotted time - reception was really kind and tried multiple times to get them to move. Once resolved, we were seated. Got several of the chef-dressed nigiri bites (Hamachi, Ika, Madai, Saba, Suzuki, and Kanpachi) - all were phenomenal. The flavorings really paired well without overpowering the flavor of the meat! We also got a few rolls - the Hot Daisy in particular was impressive - amazing kick of spice.
