“I stopped by Pure Green on a Saturday morning and it was just what I needed to start my day off right! I tried the Tropical Breeze smoothie and it was perfect. Not too bland or sweet. I also got one of the steel cut oatmeal bowls which I was pleasantly surprised by! I’d definitely go back and look forward to trying the elevated toast at another location (see their menu for specific menu items per location).“
“Great customer service. The owner Robin is very nice, polite, and friendly. The food is amazing acia bowls are great. The smoothies are amazing. Perfect spot to get some quiet time, study, and get some work done if needed. Clean and welcoming!!! Definitely give this place 5 Stars!!!!“
“Good smoothies and juices. It’s a great place to stay awhile and work, however the constant loud “ding” noises from the mobile orders coming in ruined the atmosphere a bit. Recommend turning it down or moving the device to the back of the cafe!“
“In search of a healthy snack, we hopped into Deep Purpl for some superfood and we weren't disappointed! An açaí bowl, a blue smoothie and a vegan empanada to go. Sweet, savory and satisfying. There's something here for everyone's taste and it's good for you too, so give this place a try!“
“LOVE this place for smoothie bowls!! My favorite is the Tropical Healer bowl. Ingredients are fresh and clean. Staff is really nice and attentive to my various special requests. I have also ordered it via Postmates/Grub Hub on many occasions and it is great delivered as well.“
“The owners and employees are great people! They engage in health conversations and provide you with health benefits of their products. Their protein pie is awesome! They also have a second location in Hegewisch that the owner's son operates. That location also provides the same excellent service!“
“Brazilian bowl is the place to eat, if your in chicago dona luz is the best, she's all smiles and gave us free Brazilian cheese bread.Parking: There's parking everywhereWheelchair accessibility: They have a sidewalk that's wheelchair friendly, no steps, all flat ground, big restroom if you need assistance.“
“I ran into Cal's Corner on a whim! I just happen to be in the neighborhood waiting on a friend and needed to get some work done on a Saturday morning. The owner Cal is friendly and answered all my questions. I ordered a cortado which was good, but was more like an 8oz cappuccino. It tasted good so not a big problem. The cafe was very clean and had kind of a hotel reception vibe. The main reason I'm writing this review is because this cafe has a -sort of "quiet room" , if you will, which is SO nice for working remotely. This might not be a huge deal to some, but in 2024 so many of us are working remotely so I had to mention it. I appreciated finding that space and getting so much work done. They also have a full menu which I didn't get to try but I will definitely come back another time and try breakfast and lunch while working in the quiet room !“
“The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I ordered the sunshine mango and my husband ordered the curious George. I was happy to hear they don’t use regular milk in their smoothies. I can only have dairy free options. The smoothies were delicious, I want to return for the food options.“
“I got a "Fight the Flu" smoothie here a few weeks ago, and it was super fresh, nourishing, and delicious! Just what I needed. Free samples of their acai bowls, as well. I hadn't even realized this place was here until recently, so I hope more people find it and frequent it! The employee working at the time was super friendly and enthusiastic about the restaurant. I tried a gluten-free (yuca) empanada as well, and it was great! This spot deserves to be more lively insideDietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available“
“I have been to Pantera Superfoods on multiple occasions for smoothie bowls. Their bowls are delicious and the owner is so kind. I am so excited to have this place in Edgebrook. I used to drive to Bucktown for smoothie bowls. Great option on the NW side for a healthy lunch.“
