“Chuy is the best bartender AND the fish'n'chips are the best in the city of Chicago, bar none! The cod is so fresh and flavorful, the batter is deep fried to perfection, the "chips" are perfectly done, tartar sauce delicious, and the cole slaw is pretty good too! Great beer selection and wines are good. We will be back!“
“the bar is just the kind of place you want to hang out on st paddy’s. it was $20 cash cover charge at the door, but they did not limit how many people were in the bar based on that; the entire place was extremelycrowded. which was to be expected. the drinks were great. the bathrooms were not up to par in my opinion; in the women’s restroom you can see into the stalls because the stall doors are only 3-4 feet tall so that is really uncomfortable. and in such a crowded bar, there was a sizable line for the bathroom. all in all, i wish they would have limited more the number of people that they let in at one time. it was better earlier in the day. but again, it was expected on the holiday.“
“Great neighborhood bar. Really good bar food and service. The wings are perfectly crunchy. I'm betting double fried. 14 beer taps and some TVs.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger and a panini, hummus, and your typical fried veggie options.“
“Galway Arms is the best ‘local’ in Chicago! Great craft beers, great Guinness, Superb food - the Lamb Shank is 2nd to none and for brunch - the Full English Breakfast is fantastic! And the place is full of friendly regulars and the staff are the best!“
“Gorgeous venue and delicious food!! We went for dinner on Good Friday with our two little kids. Juan, our server, was so kind and patient and funny and helpful. The place itself is so beautiful: so cosy with a fire and books and big armchairs. Excellent menu. Food was delicious and even my picky kids tucked in. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: High chair available as well as colouring in paper and crayons and free ice cream. The whole staff team were really patient and kind and warm.“
“We came for St. Patty’s and let me tell you. This place is doing it right! Maria from Tipperary was wonderful, slinging drinks and making sure to let the Guiness settle before topping it off. They served food all day, and kept the crowd to a good level. Killled it!!!“
“Food is great ( had corn beef dinner and fish and chips. Seasoned well and hearty portions. Fish fried perfectly.) atmosphere friendly welcoming and fun. My new Irish spot. Large space and great for large parties. Family friendly as well. Nice touch w/ the board games and books. Def recommend.“

I was not disappointed with the flavor.Service was great staff is all friendly and promptIll definitely be back to try other meal options. And explore the interior more“
“First time at this place. Food and drinks were excellent. Our server , Paige was awesome! Tyler the manager was so accommodating and pleasant. All employees were very friendly. Espresso Martini’s were outstanding! Currie fries were delicious. Chicken pot pie … yum. Cherry pie desert … to die for! Love the atmosphere as well. Can’t wait to go back!“
“We visited the pub over St. Patrick's Day weekend. As you can imagine, it was a crazy busy place but so much fun and well worth the wait to get in. The food was simple and good. The live bands were fantastic. We had so much fun and loved theice-cold Guiness beer. ?“
“We had a private party in their event space. Awesome! The space was large enough for our group of nearly 50. The food was excellent. Bar service was great. We were able get in 2 hrs early to decorate & set up. Overall, a very affordable option with great service. Excellent hosts!“
“I was in town visiting friends and had the chance to meet up with a few when they were here this afternoon. I've been here a few times, some people I'm friends with introduced me to it, and it's basically got that neighborhood feel to it. Jimbo is the owner and he's always so welcoming...he remembers me and that's always a great feeling. I was helping a friend promote his new tequila line so I was helping to make introductions however I could. I have not had the chance to eat here, but when I do I will be sure to update this. Support small businesses! Jimbo is fantastic and his humor can't keep you in a bad mood. That's a guarantee! Thanks to the team here for a great visit!“
“Given that this place is located within a hotel, I can't be surprised by the busy environment. Food was great, staff was quick and efficient despite the busy dining area. The busy environment can be overwhelming, but is well worth it if you plan to eat within the Hilton Chicago.“
“The Wolfhound Pub offers a delightful experience with its exceptional food and cocktails, especially noteworthy are their espresso martinis and lemon drops which are truly outstanding. Brendan, Emily, and the entire staff create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making patrons feel right at home. Whether you're stopping by for a meal or drinks, expect nothing less than a consistently fantastic time at The Wolfhound.“
