Loved the atmosphere with the Michael Jackson music going and how great the customer service was. As for the food the sandwich was super flavorable and the meat was very well done, crispy, and tender.
Was just driving down Stony Island, saw the Retro Grill sign and just took a chance and came in. May-nnnn. I'm so glad I did. Super friendly staff.Had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a vanilla shake.The burger was absolutely delicious. Juicy, flavorful and hitting on all cylinders.The fries were fresh cut, like homemade. This black family owned restaurant at 81st and Stony is GREAT! I had a cheeseburger w/everything and their freshly cut fries that hit the spot after a long day in Chi traffic. Be sure to get their special BBQ sauce. I put it on my cheeseburger and it made it perfect. They have veg./vegan and beyond meat options on the menu. Everything is so fresh! They have a parking lot too!Parking: The paved and fenced parking lot is right adjacent to the restaurant entrance.
