The Okonomiyaki was super fluffy and rich - it remains my favorite Okinomiyaki in Chicago. I loved the broth and textures of the chicken and dumplings, though I also felt like it needed more chili crunch. I also loved the new location - though smaller than the West Loop restaurant, it has fun diner vibe.“

“Great experience while visiting Chicago over St Patty's weekend. Went with friends mid afternoon. We had reservations and luckily so because the place was packed. Ambiance is awesome. The food and drinks were top notch. I had a lamb pot pie. It came with a huge portion of bone marrow. The beef tartare was also amazing. Only pic I ended up getting while there. “I do feel like people don’t really know what they are getting into with this place. BGT is an iconic spot in Chicago not because it’s the best burger in the city. It’s because it’s a quick spot to grab a decent burger or cheap drink that happens to be dripping with atmosphere and Chicago history and culture. “Stop by Charly's burgers for the first time, after a co-worker of mine asked me to try it out. I definitely have to say they put quality into their burgers. the burgers were seasoned very well, and it was juicy. The Cajun fries speaks for itself, a kick of spice but don't worry it's not going to burn your tongue off. “New to the neighborhood, I was excited to try this place, and MAN OH MAN. It was so good. Classic comfort with a delicious twist. We got the Tahini Ranch Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Kefta Burger, and the Stuffed Falafel; not a dud in the bunch. The toppings and condiments that some on the burger and sandwich made basic diner food such a delight without feeling over the top. The real stand out was the stuffed falafel. I never thought of having a filling in a falafel, and the sweetness of the caramelized onions was such a delicious complexity to a classic Middle Eastern dish. Now I want to eat through the whole menu to find my favorites.“

“We went to Farm Bar last night with another couple and it was so delicious I had to write a review. We started with the cheese curds and we all agreed that they are the best we have ever had. Then we had the salad that was on the Specials list. It was a smear of ricotta cheese with butter lettuce, peas, asparagus, watermelon radishes and a very light, tasty vinaigrette dressing. So fresh and flavorful. The owner came by our table and has a huge farm in Wisconsin so everything is so fresh and menu changes with seasons. My husband had the catfish. He is a southern boy and he loved it. Huge portion as well! Two of us had the cavatelli. Fresh pasta and layered with textures and flavors. And one of us had the burger. He said it was a great burger. Service was very friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend Farm Bar!! Can't wait until the summer and the rooftop opens.“

“I went to Mother's Ruin with a group of my coworkers, and Keith the bartender took the best care of us. He really made all of our nights special. I have also gone to Mother's Ruin for my birthday and graduation, and each time the service is always spectacular. I can't recommend this place enough! They are easily one of the best burger places I have ever been. The burger was juicy but not too greasy. It’s hard to find a burger joint that doesn’t make super greasy burgers and still taste good. The chocolate shake is what I ordered and it tasted amazing. I’m a huge fan of dipping my fries in my shake and it tasted so good together with the shake they gave me. I would highly recommend coming to small cheval. Even the little ones in our family enjoyed this restaurant and wanted to go back again. They have their own homemade garlic aioli sauce they offer and it tasted with both the burgers and fries. If you haven’t tried this restaurant then you are for sure missing out.“

Moe and Diar were both very welcoming and made sure we had a good experience. The food was fantastic and made to order so it was extremely fresh both times.
