It was nice to eat at tables outside (u can eat inside as well). Service is friendly and accommodating. Besides standard hot dog stand fare, which is good, they serve some Mexican; the tacos, rice, and beans are very tasty. They also have a Cuban Sandwich. Fair prices. Street parking.
Every neighborhood needs a solid burger joint. This tiny place just off Peterson is a very good one In Sauganash. Not only do they have an excellent burger, their tacos are also exceptional as well. Highly recommended.

A very solid neighborhood joint located just west of Pulaski and Peterson. Clearly popular with Sauganash locals. We got a mango smoothie and Cuban sandwich-- both quite delicious and high quality. We ordered takeout, and our food was ready for pickup in 10 to 15 minutes. It's a small place, with 2 booths in front and a few 2-seater tables. They do a good takeout business. Menu includes Mexican and American sandwiches; staff is extremely friendly and glad to see you. Recommended.
