“Service was good! I appreciate that they have fresh squeezed orange juice but what needs to be changed is the name of their red velvet french toast. It should be red velvet cake roll toasted. I was very disappointed that it was a cake and not bread.“
“My server demi was very attentive and got everything right in my very detail difficult order I always have crazy requests and she meet every need of mine. She was quick with getting us drinks and made us feel like we were the only ones in the in the restaurant even tho it was very busy and packed. She definitely deserves all the stars and the food is excellent there I got the biscuits and gravy and ciabatta sunrise sandwich they were both so good and full of flavor! “I’ve been coming here since I was a kid (I’m 24 now) , this is easily my favorite breakfast spot ever . The servers are so sweet & kind, the owners are great people & it’s family owned . The food tastes like it was made by my gma, everything tastes so good & since I’ve been a repeat customer since birth ? I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu already, anything you get is 10/10 . The cream of chicken & rice soup is a must try, any time I’m sick that’s my go to . It’s my family’s favorite soup . I’d like to think that’s their signature soup, anyone I know that has tried it says it’s their favorite thing on the menu .. me included . The skirt steak is absolutely amazing & has so much flavor . The rolls are so buttery, soft & fresh . “We've been going to Lumes for years, it's our favorite breakfast restaurant. No matter if it was just us or a get together of family and friends we always get wonderful service and great food. Once in a while we get it to go and the food is just as good and ready when we get there to pick it up. “I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. It's a very small personable place where you feel so welcome every time you walk in. The women who run the place have known my son since he was 4 years old, and still remembers him every time we come in. The food is always great . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has family in town that wants to show them a perfect little restaurant that has a lot to offer. They have breakfast dishes and also lunch dishes. “Food was great, had an egg and cheese crossaint, some spinach, avocado, mushroom, and cheese crepes, the house veggie burger, and crispy eggplant with polenta and goat cheese. The crepe came with only the cheese on the inside and other ingredients on top, and was more of a crispy rather than soft or spongy texture, so somewhat different than I had pictured but they were good. I'd order all of it again! Service was good and attentive. Food was a little slow to come out at times given that the place was pretty empty, but I wasn't in a hurry and was taking my own time, so I didn't mind that. Will definitely return!“

In general the food options are pretty good, but - I have many friends who are vegan or vegetarian. It's hard to find a place that offers any unique options for them Having a disappointed friend always detracts from a lunch date (A soup or another cooked veggie option would be surprising and delightful!).They were also out of the poppyseed dressing that really makes the salad it's for, that was another 2 friends slightly disappointed. We all did enjoy the tea options! Please get some more peach in stock soon :)Vegetarian options: There is a veggie wrap, does have feta cheese and ranch. It would be really nice to see a few more vegetarian/ vegan options, veggie wraps seem like the default option for every restaurant.“

It was served hot but it was weak(my only disappointment).“
“Happy with my breakfast. I had eggs over easy with ham and with crepes and fruit on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the ham and crepes were delicious. The coffee was hot and good as well. The only item that could have been improved is the presentation of the fruit bowl. Some of the strawberries didn't look too fresh but all the other fruit was great. Service was polite and quick. Breakfast was great. The menu offers a lot of options. Will go again.“

“I know the owner really nice person but long while back had a rude encounter with a waitress. I was accompanying a friend to eat. Even though I already ate I decided to order off the kids menu so I do not go there just to be rude and order nothing.. Then the waitress mentioned that I do not look like someone that should order off the kids menu... I got up and walked it's been 7 years I have not gone... hope it is a lesson to that waitress do not insult because you will miss out on buisness and a good tip... be kind to everyone it goes a loongg way.“
