“I’ve been going to Ottimo’s for several years now. Loved the restaurant but The quality and overall experience has been changing. The quality of the food isn’t there so much, the portions have gotten a bit smaller and there are always new servers, that need more training. Not sure if there’s new owners or mgmt but definitely a change. A couple years ago I would’ve given Ottimos a 5/5 but now it’s about half of that as a rating. Last night went for dinner with the family- the bread that was brought to the table was more like croutons because it was over cooked and somewhat hard, it should have never been served. We asked for more bread and the server came back to the table and said not much longer it’s coming out of the oven now. 10mins later he came to the table and asked if we needed anything I mentioned the bread and he said if yeah let me check. The server asst came to refill water and asked if we needed more bread m, I said yes please. Well after all that the bread never came. The O/O on the table tasted stale, or maybe a cheaper brand than normally served. One ordered the walleye special in lemon butter sauce, the sauce was a dark color tasted a bit burnt, very expensive for the size of the piece that was served and served with nothing else. Usually served with risotto- can suggest a side of pasta or even a side salad. Was not worth it. We ordered bruschetta- was bland, and again whom ever was cooking the bread toasted this bread to a crostini. Was very excited when Ottimos opened, loved that it was very close to traditional Italian food, and local (without having to drive to the City to Little Italy)! But sadly I do not feel the same so much lately. Bring back the way you use to be when first opened! Would love to visit that again!“

“Haven’t been to Aurelio’s to know how great of a pizza they serve. I also appreciated walking into the architectural space. It had a nice, old school, vintage, and woodsy feel with the chandelier lighting and the street signs decorations, as you walk in to be seated. Customer service was great. The waitress was awesome and took care of my drink, when refills were needed.As far as food goes, I ordered a Medium pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and garlic. The protein toppings were cooked phenomenally. They blended well with the garlic and cheese, melting in your mouth. The sauce was excellent. It wasn’t too salty and sweet. Had the right amount of flavor to blend the toppings together. The crust was crunchy and cooked perfectly to hold the pizza together. I’d definitely would come back.“
“My server demi was very attentive and got everything right in my very detail difficult order I always have crazy requests and she meet every need of mine. She was quick with getting us drinks and made us feel like we were the only ones in the in the restaurant even tho it was very busy and packed. She definitely deserves all the stars and the food is excellent there I got the biscuits and gravy and ciabatta sunrise sandwich they were both so good and full of flavor! I just want to say she made the experience worth it to come back again and again. I request her every time.“
“I dined here for an 8 pm dinner last Saturday night with my husband and 2 other couples and it was all around fantastic! We started at the bar as they put our table together, only one of the couples hadn’t been there before so the bartender Andrea was incredibly helpful with explaining the cocktails on tap and the flights! Once we sat we ordered: lobster rolls(they were on feature that evening I believe), calamari, general tso’s cauliflower, burger sliders, fried kale, scallops (my favorite right now), N.Y. Strip steak, tuna poke ( I think a couple, SO GOOD) and even a couple cookie skillets for desserts I’m pretty sure I’m missing a few things but it was 4 days ago lol and we just all shared everything! Jeff was our server, he was polite, professional and although we stayed WELL passed closing (sorry) they never even let us know!! They allowed us to enjoy ourselves and our evening which is not a usual these days. The general manager Jackie Gabriel came to our table to check on us during our meal which was so nice she even ran most of our food to the table and the tables all around us all the while greeting guests coming through the door and delegating the line where the food came out AND SHES ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! The Chef JR even stopped by at one point to ask about our food! It was definitely an above and beyond evening!! Everyone in that building was on point and made EVEN ME look better for bringing my crew! THANK YOU SO MUCH! We will be back!!!!“

“Food was great, had an egg and cheese crossaint, some spinach, avocado, mushroom, and cheese crepes, the house veggie burger, and crispy eggplant with polenta and goat cheese. The crepe came with only the cheese on the inside and other ingredients on top, and was more of a crispy rather than soft or spongy texture, so somewhat different than I had pictured but they were good. I'd order all of it again! Service was good and attentive. Service was super speedy and our driver called to let us know he was on his way up. The pizza was great! We ordered the beer crust because it was an option we hadn't had before. It was thin crust, but not like a limp cracker crust. It had good char on the bottom without tasting burnt, and was crisp, which was good because there was a good amount of cheese and toppings. The sauce was flavorful and thick, with a brick red color on the outer pieces that had slightly caramelized from the heat of the oven.“

“Quality breakfast diner in Oak Lawn that's been around since I was a kid. I've gone here several times with my grandparents, and now just grandma since it became juts her. They have all the usual breakfast and lunch staples, but at a reasonable house, and you get nice portions. Last time I went I got the special skillet, with a sign of french toast. Easily fills you up, if you can even finish it all. I like how friendly and nice the staff and owners were to my grandma, who comes here quite a bit. They know her by name, and recognize her and treat her well, so that is always great to see. Has its own parking lot. We went prime time noon Sunday, yet still got a booth, though it was crowded. Definitely your go to place if looking for that old school feel in the Oak Lawn area.“

“This was some of the best food I have had out in a very, very long time. Everything was fresh. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and the lettuce was crispy, and the chicken was tender. Just really great tasting all around, and it was put together very neatly. Sometimes you go out and your food looks like they just slapped it together. Not here. I also had the pretzel bites and they are nice and soft, with a little seasoning on top, served with warm queso dip. Delicious. To finish, I tried the Orange Pushup smoothie and it tasted just like a Creamsicle (or Push Up) if you remember how those tasted back when. I'm not saying they are cheap but affordable most definitely. Your getting a premium meal each time that has love to it. “Came to this pizzeria after my sons hockey game and the place was good. As soon as u walk in, we were greeted immediately and had a table within minutes. Tvs were everywhere, so u can't miss a game or highlights of sports going on, which was great also. Ordered a deep dish which typically takes about 20 minutes or so longer than a regular pizza but the wait was worth it. Cheese and sauce was on point and they didn't skimp on the sausage either. I wilk say maybe less flour in the dough cause it did overtake the breading flavor of the pizza a bit but iverall it was delicious. Our waiter kept checking in which was great and as well.
