It was our first time at the Duke’s and Greg helped us picked the food items and had a lot of patience with our kids. Even the soups were to die for... I absolutely loved the Duke’s chicken sandwich. The Duke’s burger was fantastic! the vibe of the restaurant is very welcoming and great for family celebrations. Of course, make sure you order some Honey Pecan cookie skillet with some ice cream to celebrate when there! Also, remember to check out a free Photo Booth !”

“We arrived early 5:30 with no reservations and got seated fairly quickly.. i ordered the seafood platter and chose calamari & shrimp.. the chef was exceptional at grilling everything to perfection, seasoning, and entertaining each and everyone at the table. It was an experience to be remembered.

My food was abundant and came out perfectly grilled and seasoned. It comes with soup, salad and even ice cream after words. I ate everything!!

Despite the slightly higher price points than the average dining experience it was well worth it. I would do it again especially for special occasions.

“We were there on a busy Sunday morning and the service was good. Waited only 20 minutes for food for our table of 5. Food was hot and of good quality, but nothing special. I had the pumpkin pancakes and while good, I have had better. Restrooms were sufficiently clean for a busy morning. A good experience overall and would definitely meet friends here again.

Parking: There is a large lot though the restaurant itself is a little off the path if you have never been there before, near business park and hotels.”

“Fun, kitschy old-fashioned tiki bar with great cocktails (especially mai-tai’s), yummy egg rolls, and various tasty and reasonably priced Chinese dishes, nicely presented. Our favorite is the Har Sue Pea Pod. If you’re lucky you might have Danny as your server; he has been there 54 years now, and I’ve never had better, warmer customer service! Live music adds to the atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights or try karaoke night for a lot of fun. In the summer, the large outdoor patio is lovely too.”

It’s been a difficult week and my mom had passed away that morning. That was my first meal in about a week. She was so kind to pay for our meals. Thank you so much. “We were in the area after visiting the Trading Post, we noticed the sign for fish fry on Fridays, stopped in around 1pm and was warmly greeted by the bartender, a lot of regulars were inside but she did not ignore us and took our drink and then our fish order. Food came quickly and was delicious! I had the fish tacos. We really felt welcomed and we were satisfied with the whole experience.”

“Amazing, astonishing, yummy. The chicken here is so good. It can be a bit chewy and messy sometimes but it is perfectly heated. My personal favorite thing there has to be the bread. (I usually replace my coleslaw with another bread.) and the #1 thing we have to mention is the sauce. It truly could not get better.”

It is not the cheapest place but it is totally worth it because they have the biggest tortas and portions I ever had.

Ambiance: cozy and comfortable. Nice patio outside.

Service: The staff took very good care of us. They were quick to take our orders, bring the food and drinks, and to check in on us.

Food: Delicious! I had the Caesar salad and chicken wings. Everything was very fresh and the salad dressing was tasty. Lots of chicken, croutons, and sprinkled cheese in the salad.

Only one complaint - the music was not very good ? country Western pop is not good.”

“We went here last night for Singo and what a great time! There was about 40 people playing and it was soooo fun!!! The food here is OUTSTANDING! They have a limited menu of flatbreads and sliders! Don’t be fooled by the limited options. They offer all types of flatbreads and sliders! Delicious!!
The 2 girls that run this, Tara and Kenzie, are fantastic!!! These 2 did everything from cooking to bartending to serving! The service was top notch!

“I have been ordering from here for dinner where I work. We all aty work enjoy the pizza & appetizer. I ordered a Chicken Ceasar salad, a small BLT pizza & an Italian Beef with giardiniera with a side of adjustable. Well my coworker told me she only received 1 small Ceasar dressing for the salad (2 or 3 for the salad would have it nicely covered), Italian Beef was a fully disappointment. I would NEVER recommend that at all. The menu for the Italian Beef is NOT true at all. The menu says "NOW WITH MORE MEAT", well I received more giardiniera then meat. When I called she told me that it was 6ozs. of meat that all beefs get. I can tell you as a former line cook that packaged Italian Beef that what I received was NOT 6ozs since I packaged 7ozs of Italian Beef. I DO NOT recommend the Italian Beef at all. I was excited to get the be since all I heard was good things but when I received it and looked at the sandwich it was giardiniera with very little Italian Beef and I received 2 large containers of auju. I was really DISAPPOINTED on the sandwich and the answer that they gave me. If your menu says "NOW WITH MORE MEAT" 6ozs is not enough. It was a GIARDINIERA sandwich with Italian beef... Other pizza I will not order anything else. VERY DISAPPOINTED.... Pictures will be posted...”

“We got the tuna melt and the California club and they were the best sandwiches we'd eaten in a LONG time. The tuna wasn't fishy at all and everything was fresh...they did not skimp on the veggies and good stuff. We had our dogs there and they were very accommodating.

I have loved Thai food for much of my life and outside of the city, even after trying multiple Thai restaurants from the North Shore and burbs all around the area, this is hands down the best around! Fresh, not over cooked, spiced to perfection. While I would love to have a go to place closer, we will gladly continue to make the 30 minute drive to Crystal Lake to eat this high quality Thai. Prefer take out as the ambiance isnt spectacular but when we have eaten there, service is top notch.”

“When I arrived I had encountered quite the environment, firstly I really needed to piss so I entered the bathroom only to see a severed head in one of the urinals. Honestly I wasn't too focused on it as I REALLY needed to pee. I was seated near a cracked window but frankly, it just added to the atmosphere you know? My waitress Amanda was really sweet to me, nice woman... until I saw her go off on an family that was eating there... had a weird grudge against the grandma. I got my jamón al vapor quite quickly and the taste is even better. Now I am not one to nitpick, but when I requested I get one of those tiny umbrellas for my water what I got in return was a tiny skateboard instead, not ideal but I made it work. Overall would recommend, just stay out of the 2nd stall in the male restroom... that's my stall.”

My youngest has some severe allergies and he is now old enough that he wants to be ordering his own kids meal when we eat out. The manager and staff were so kind and accommodating on our last visit and let us know the items that were safe for him. We are happy to have another place where we know we can safely order food together as a family. My little guy was so proud to be able to order his own kids meal. My kids also LOVE their chips and salsa.”

“We ordered on a Sunday right around the time they opened 11am. There was a rude man in a lobby complaining about the wait which they had only been open for 30 minutes. My husband maybe waited 10 minutes for hot fresh food, there was a soup and an extra fried rice in our order and 3 sodas were thrown in for free, the sweet and sour chicken had large pieces of chicken, the house friend rice was amazing! My husband who isn't a fan of this type of food was able to order a hibachi steak and loved it! And the shrimp and broccoli was perfect with large pieces of shrimp. I was actually sick so this food was wonderful and definitely made me feel better! Will be ordering again and if we can find a babysitter we may dine in next time!”

“We ordered a catering package from Papa Saverios in Crystal Lake for Mother's day and the food was outstanding. Our package included the Italian beef, mostaccioli, fried chicken and swapped out the garden salad tray for their chopped salad (for an extra cost) but was so happy they were able to accommodate us. Everyone commented on how good the food was especially and surprisingly the fried chicken. It came crispy, moist and delicious. We will continue to do our catering with them! Thanks Papa Saverios for an outstanding job!”
