In a city not known for culinary excellence, the Gin Mill is the exception. Had a delightful pork chop dinner recently. The decor with its high ceilings and beautiful bar is way above average. Slight complaint was caesar salad dressing was rather excessive and mediocre. Service was attentive, perhaps a little too much so. Given the local alternatives, I would go back in a minute.
The place was fantastic! The decor was great, our server was friendly, and the food was awesome. After taking a bite of the fresh warm loaf of bread that brought out I knew I made a great choice for dinner. Lobster bisque was good. My wife enjoyed her tacos, and my gouda bacon burger was possibly the best burger I've ever had. I doubled down on gouda with a side of their Mac n cheese.
