“This was our second visit in the same month. We came on the 6th and the food was good except the Mac and cheese and the alcohol was good and the prices were very reasonable. When we came back on the 27th the food was good and the Mac and cheese was better but the prices was so much higher as well as the alcohol. Parking is off street and high. Our waitress was slow and brought our food out piece meal and the drinks were served last. I was so disappointed. Thought I was gonna make this my new hangout spotParking: Parking is very tight“

I also had the turkey chop sandwich a 10/10. And I ordered the Hibachi Garlic Noodles to go. Mind your business.Vegetarian options: Hands down the collard greens eggroll.“

“The catering was great BEST deals compared to other restaurants in that area. Food was fresh and flavorful especially the Italian beef.... definitely had me surprised. The fried chicken was good could use a bit more seasoning. Whipped potatoes were amazing you could actually see the melted butter on top, baked beans yummy even the cole slaw was good. I HIGHLY RECOMMED and we will definitely be using them for catering again. .THANK YOU D'MASTI our staff loved everything ❤️“

“I can call this place Glenwood Oaks reborn..It is owned by the former owners of the Oaks..Mostly known for their banquets the food is just as good as before..The bar is cozy enough but i came for the food..You have to try the ribs..I ordered a half a slab and the meat just falls off the bone..The staff is friendly and makes you feel at home..“

“look.. when I tell you they have accommodated me for every event I have ever had.. I've been supporting them back to when Laura kubiak was there. The past few years I have hosted my annual Christmas party there and not one complaint, food, phenomenal! Fresh. Tasty. Plenty to go around. Service amazing! Price is more than fair. I have been there for several funeral banquets as well, food is consistently amazing... besides that I was an avid fish fry guy on Fridays and that is even better. Wish I could give more stars!! “I had the BEST experience with Honey's Chicken! I had to place a large order for catfish fillets for my wedding, and the owner actually came out to assist me with the order. He and his staff were very nice and accommodating. Not only were they nice, but the fish was AMAZING! I had to scramble to make sure my husband and I had fish. I'm truly grateful for the service. “He started selling it a little cart outside of gas station in South Holland. Then he moved into the gas station. Denny open up his own business in South Holland. One of the best beef sandwiches I've ever had. The location and Thornton is nice. Very friendly very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone“

“We had our son's first birthday here and cannot say enough good things about Gilhooleys. The manager Jim was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The staff the day of was amazing and friendly. The food (we did the brunch option) was so delicious. We got so many compliments about the food and the space from our guests. It was our first time hosting a party so we were nervous, but Gilhooleys made everything easy for us. We are so grateful for such a wonderful time!“

I would have posted what I brought, but once I bite into those Philly cheese shrimp egg rolls I was too busy having the most delicious out of body experience. Food was delicious 1/2 Henny chicken, green beans & potatoes, and macaroni & cheese) and seasoned perfectly, except for the bed of rice that the 1/2 Henny chicken was served on.
