“Angie's Pantry is a weekly food pickup or delivery service with fully prepared meals. There are no subscriptions- you just review the menus and pick either one of the menus or a la cart items. Each week there are different options either for pick up or delivery and if the cookies are listed, definitely get them!We've had Buffalo chicken, tilapia and a variety of other items. All have been delicious. The meals have come with salads often and veggie. Everything has super easy and quick reheating directions which has been critical as I seem time always gets away from me when making dinner. The menus are open a week ahead of time, with orders due Thursdays for the next week (Tuesday or Wednesday - pick your day).I enjoy seeing the next week's menu each week and deciding what to order... and I'll say it again, don't skip the cookies.“
“I hosted a private group cooking class for 25 people for my birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect! The space is beautiful and needed no addition decoration. I connected my ipad to the built-in sonos speakers to play my spotify playlist, and I was able to project a picture slide show on the large tv display monitors. From the moment I walked in he had everything accounted for - circular name tags for the wine glasses, hair ties for those with long hair, latex gloves, glasses for beverages (it's BYO), bottled and sparkling water, etc. Chef Naveen and I consulted on the menu and he took into account people who had food restrictions. Everything we made was absolutely delicious. I didn't tell my group we were cooking Indian food because some people automatically assume they won't like it, but let me tell you there were NO LEFTOVERS! The staff was amazing, always cleaning and organizing in the background. Chef Naveen was the highlight of the evening! He was so funny and engaging and he could remember everyone's name. My guests absolutely loved him. Everything was absolutely perfect. I give him 10 stars and will definitely be back again!“
“Worth the wait and must try! Beautiful and unique venue in the unassuming town of Des Plaines. Our server was kind and welcoming, food was delicious, drinks were fun and tasty. The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. Looking forward to trying the brunch and the outside patio... overlooking the water.“
“The technician Dias came out in freezing weather and while it was snowing and replaced the locks and keys to my guy car. He came out on time. And it was at the best price out. Not one time did he complain about the cold. He did not stop during the whole process. He was very nice and made my guy feel very comfortable with his service. I will recommend his service to anyone.“
“Ovy Signature Catering is the best of the best when it comes to wedding catering! From start to finish, working with Ati, Ovy and the rest of the team was such an enjoyable and seamless process. We could tell immediately how much they care for the couples that they work with and there was no doubt in our mind we made the right decision by working with them! Upon our first meeting they took the time to get to know us, our cultural backgrounds and used the details to put together an incredible wedding tasting menu. Everything was so delicious and just an exceptional experience - our hardest choice was deciding which of their amazing dishes we were going to select for our big day!We felt the love from the entire team through the entire process - they joined us at our venue walk-throughs at Wildman BT in West Town and worked seamlessly with the staff on site, helped us with our timeline, made last minute adjustments for us and assured us that no matter what requests we had they would do their best to deliver and they did 10 fold!The week of the wedding Ati texted me directly to make sure we were enjoying the week, offered to take on any tasks and assured us that we were taken care of so we could sit back and enjoy - it helped to relieve so much stress and I could not be more thankful for his kindness, attentiveness and his true concern for Brett and I on such a big weekend!When it came to the wedding day Ovy and the team provided 5 star service from start to finish - Brett and I had all our Hors d'oeuvres and a drink waiting for us right after our ceremony while the rest of our 200 guests enjoyed drinks from the incredible bartenders and 6 incredible Hors d'oeuvres through our passed cocktail hour. We have not gone a day since our wedding without someone telling us how incredible the food was! The entrees were served hot, timely and tasted even better than we had remembered it. We were even told that the presentation was like it was served at a gourmet restaurant - it truly was!Ovy Signature Catering is the best in the game and I would recommend them over and over again to anyone throwing a wedding! Not only is their menu extensive and their food incredible, they really care about their community, the service is amazing and they always do whatever they can to help you out. But most importantly, their food is top notch. There isn't anywhere I know of that makes such delicious, fresh tasting Thai food, and I'm so lucky to have it in my neighborhood. You really owe it to yourself to visit.“
“JOSE was our Waiter last night his service was impeccable! Smiles, jokes, makes you laugh, he waited on our party of 8 for 2 Birthdays, my Son and Mom, our party had various meals and everyone enjoyed! Jose always came back asking if we needed anything else, always made sure we had enough refills on drinks and making sure food was great. The restaurant is beautiful. Jose mentioned a dessert that crossed my curiosity. It was a Basil Blueberry Cheesecake. Now you would think spicy, not at all, it was delicious when you incorporate that savory and sweet flavors it was truly amazing! When I forgot the cakes, Jose had a plan B and made the Birthdays just as special. Thank you for making our 1st a Great Time! Will Definitely be coming back!The only thing that was a little difficult was finding a place to park, but other than that we asked after getting in and they do have a garage you can get your ticket stamped.
