“The most fun night I have ever had at a bar in my life, and I am old! We (my sister and I) stopped there on the way to Branson, and met so many fun, kind people from Kadie the barmaid (who looks like Sally on the Young & the Restless), to Darrin dressed like CrownRoyal Apple,to the 4 nurses from the local hospital (twin sisters among them), to a pretty gal who dances for a living, to the absolute cute guy who was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Effingham, to the many truckers who drove for General Motors, special order motorhome deliveries, meat and produce cross-country drivers, etc. Everybody knew everybody it seemed, and they knew our names by the end of the night. It was a blast! Definitely would return again! You and your regular customers are super!”

“Just ate lunch at this place. It is a food trailer parked next to a bar. A beautiful day to eat outside at their picnic tables. Food was excellent!! I would recommend to stop and try some of their bbq.😊👍”

“We visited the winery during the solar eclipse. Staff was friendly and patient despite the large crowd there for the solar eclipse party. The wine was excellent and staff was able to provide the perfect wines to suit our tastes.”

“We happened to need to go to Effingham today and I remembered seeing this place on FB, with great reviews.We ordered two pizzas and nachos. Some of the best we've ever had. Loaded with toppings all the way to the edges, Seasoned nicely. We had a meatlovers and supreme (can't remember the actual names), but they have some unique specialty pizzas that also sound delicious. Prices not bad and very friendly service too. We will definitely return and recommend to friends.”

“Joe’s Pizza in Effingham has the BEST wings, by far. No comparison. In addition, their pizza, pasta, subs are hard to beat. The honey pepperoni pizza is delicious. The Nashville chicken on a salad is glorious. Delivery is always on time. I order frequently, and I’m never disappointed. Great food, great service, in-house and delivery. I’m a fan, and I thank you for giving me great food!”

“We just happened to be traveling by to Effingham from Bridgeport IL and decided to stop and eat. They had all you can eat fish buffet and it was very good. My husband loved their fried potatoes. Waitress was very pleasant and great service. Nice Bar and Grill.”

“I don’t like to leave poor reviews but hoping this will help the restaurant do better. We ordered at 1:09 pm, at 1:30 I finally went up front to check on our food. I did this because I saw others eating that were in line behind me. My tray with my children’s meals was sitting there, holding on cheese curds. I was able to grab my food. My bun was as hard as a rock, food was Luke warm. They should have brought my food then brought out the curds later. Also, I received 12 cheese curds, this was very upsetting considering it’s a $2 up charge for curds. Never had issues in the past, hoping just a fluke because we love Culver’s!”

We were there for breakfast. They were setting up the lunch buffet. It looked really good! Large salad bar, 2 soups and several hot dishes.
Our breakfast was inexpensive and freshly made.”

“We attended a thank you dinner at the Effingham Event Center as volunteers with over 100 others. It was catered by Niemerg's Restaurant which is always great. They honored most everyone with small gifts.My wife and I volunteer at Enduring Freedom Ministries in Shumway. As a Master Mason our group volunteers for the blood drive held at the Event Center. I've done it the last two times. Several Masons from our lodge volunteered to install the youth reading stations at Lake Sara. We will finish the project in the spring. There are 25 stations for kids to read books which can be changed. It is in cooperation with the Effingham Public Library. At the end they will walk one quarter mile.My wife made 135 Christmas stockings for FISH to give to nursing home, assisted living, or hospital patients. They filled each with personal hygiene items, activity books, candy,etc. We love doing stuff like this by giving back to the community.”

I ordered myself and other ny half a power smoothie. We chose to customize the smoothie by asking for a certain type of protein, fresh fruit only and plant base milk. They customize our smoothies with zero hesitation and it tasted delicious 😋!

I also ordered their acia bowl but with fresh strawberries, not the strawberries in liquid since I dont care for super sweet items. Everything tasted fresh and the store was super clean!

“My life was incomplete until I came to Denny’s in Effingham Illinois. I was lost, searching for greater meaning in my life. Today I found it. I was coming through for a band trip with some of my friends all the way from prosper Texas. I said, “yo, let’s go to Denny’s” not expending the utter life change I was about to experience

Jennifer was the greatest server in all of the serving world. Not only did she give us the best water I have ever had, but she knew BALL about fish fry Friday. Not many times can you say that this is an occurrence at your average Denny's.

Lucky for you, this Denny's is beyond average. Service: Excellent, Food: Incredible, Jennifer: Unbelievable. I ate my 10 dollar pancakes with the passion of a man madly in love with a hot Spanish woman. Now that I think about it, I would pick the pancakes any day.

It is with great sadness that I admit my time at Dennys is over, and I hope to return one day to the place of my rebirth. If there is one last thing I can say: go to this Denny’s”

“I know Hardee's in New Ulm MN has had some issues, but I went there today and was more than impressed! there were at least four people working there and they were so friendly and the food came really fast. it was fresh and hot and delicious! “We are skeptical about eating buffets. We just don’t eat that much food anymore at one sit down, but I went in to check out the price and the decor was very nice. The waitress was cleaning glass, which told me that everything else was done and it was beautiful layout. The food was amazing small portions so that fresh was brought routinely out. Only $14 and that includes your drink and ice cream. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.”
