“We love it here! It's a great atmosphere with super friendly staff. Good prices and even better food. Drinks are a good price too and they have rotating cans to try new beers every time we go. Our favorite menu items are the pizza, island patty melt, wings, and the Mac and cheese bites! This is our favorite location for date night and it's top of mind for a great bar to sit at. Plus you have bowling and pool tables right there as well.“
“Practically no wait at all to be seated. Our server Dana was very friendly and attentive with our table and got us refills without anyone asking. Pizza and calamari were both delicious, would definitely recommend, especially during lent as they even have a menu for anyone that can't eat meat because of lent.“
“I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! “They only serve lunch only during the weekdays (no dinner and no weekends). However it is the best lunch around! It's like your mom went in the kitchen and made it for you. Soups are made from scratch and they are delicious. The BLT on rye is outstanding. And if they have it, you have to try the potato salad. This is a bar with a Northwoods atmosphere that has affordable prices but there are some tables to sit at. They also have a Friday fish special.“

“This place is truly a hidden gem. We were recommended to check this spot out by a local bartender, and we are so glad we did! The ambiance was really chill and non pretentious. Our mixologist, David, was super personable and well versed in his craft. He’s bringing experience from cocktail programs in the city to the burbs! It was a cute little spot that gave speakeasy vibes. We initially thought we were underdressed, but this place wasn’t booshie at all, and there was no judgement like some places. The cocktails were creative and well balanced. I’m so glad we have a place like this nearby. We will definitely be back soon!Update:We just went back because of our previous experience. I brought a group of 10 (all industry people). We spent over 1k as a group for my friend’s 40th bday. I raved about this place only to feel unwelcome in the end. A young female bartender tells us we were too loud. Honestly, we obviously had a lot to drink, but nobody was being reckless. We were told people were complaining. From a business standpoint you made us feel unwelcome in an establishment where we spent money. Take the $60 2 top who complained over what we spent there tonight? At least pull one of us aside instead of making a grand announcement. Chad you’re a great and talented owner, but train your staff how to talk to people. Just tell us, dont make a scene.“
“I didn't expect much when we stopped in on a Sunday right around lunchtime and no one was there other than a few in the bar. We ended-up very pleasantly surprised as the menu was quite extensive and everyone could find something to eat. We had two people get personal thin pizzas and one kid burger sliders and one adult chicken Parm sliders. Add a few cups of soup and some sodas and we were set. The chicken was very tasty and you got three good size ones with fries so I had one left to send for lunch with the kids. The waitress was lovely and understanding of kids who took forever to choose! We will definitely be back!“
“My husband and I have been coming here for years. The owners, Chris and Nikki and the bartender, Monica are always welcoming and take good care of us. Nice atmosphere, good company, lots of tvs if you want to watch the game, great music playing in the background. The food is always very good and freshly made. Some of our favorites are the chicken kabobs, the Jerry's Special, and the burgers, which are excellent! Half price martinis on Wednesdays with a long list of options to choose from. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday there and they were very accommodating and everyone had a great time!“

“During many of my reviews, I left my camera bag on the restaurant floor because I didn't want to disrupt their business by pulling up a chair for another table. However, the server here gave me an extra chair and took care of my camera bag. I've never experienced such hospitality in a restaurant before. And when I needed something, all I had to do was raise my hand, and the server would come over to me. -Seafood Jjampong Stew: It was really good. However, I wish they had more seafood. -Oden Soup: it was on the house. Even my daughter, a picky eater, said it was excellent. My personal opinion is that the service was top notch and the flavors were good enough to give this place a 5 star review. The atmosphere is very chill and the service is good. the blonde bartender is the best (No names) The only reason I did not give Service and Atmosphere 5 stars is because there were a couple of instances where we walked in and were not greeted by anyone. The bar had not been cleaned from previous customers (empty drinks, dirty glasses, and food crumbs) and there was no clean spot to sit. We stood there for almost 5 minutes, watching the bartender talk to some guy at the corner end of the bar. She never even looked up for us to get her attention. Other than those couple of times, it’s been great! We also love to play the machines when we go there ?“

“I visited Peggy Kinnane's at the recommendation of someone I struck up a conversation with while waiting in line a few weeks back. I was told if I wanted really good food to celebrate St Patrick's Day that I should go to Peggy Kinnane's-and I was told correct! Even though I didn't quite make it for St. Patrick's Day, I did find the food absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the service is great! “Returned yesterday for drinks and wings. Always a pleasant experience until yesterday. Terrible service from Amber. First she brought the wrong beer. Instead of trying to make it right, she made no effort. I ordered fish and chips this time . Very greasy fish patties. My friend ordered wings. After 15 or more minutes of waiting, I had to ask the bartender for utensils and napkins. My friend requested additional blue cheese to go on two occasions. Never arrived. She smiled and appeared friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day. Regardless, we left her an appropriate tip for bad service.“
