I won’t be able to eat a whole, so we asked about just 1 but cut in half + fries side and coleslaw. You should definitely try their sauces with fries!! It tastes something like a thousand islands sauce, but I think they make their own from scratch. Overall this portion fed us 2 (me and my boyfriend) fully!! Great place, will be coming back!“

“Located in the Rose Hotel, same proximity as Dave and Buster’s and Trulucks. If the parking is full, just park in the huge parking lot across the street by Dave and Buster’s. When you walk into the hotel, the Thorn restaurant is to your right. The vibe is semi classy and intimate. It can also be a casual place to hang out, eat, and watch tv. Service was fantastic, they really take care of you over here. Prices are reasonable given the atmosphere. I had shrimp tacos, hemp hummus, and the Westcoast smasher burger. Pro tip: when you check in on Yelp, you get the hemp hummus for free. It was big enough to share with two other people.-shrimp tacos 5 - these are good sized tacos. Easily shareable. The shrimp pieces were fresh and juicy. Shells were soft. Avocado pieces were large chunks. The corn tortilla chips were crunchy and did not break easily.-hemp hummus 5 - fresh ingredients and warm naan. Very light appetizer.-Westcoast smasher 5 - ordered it medium and it came out perfect. It’s a very clean burger. Your hands don’t get oily or greasy. Meat practically melts in every bite. Special sauce amplifies the flavor. French fries were crispy and they’re on the thinner side. “I was always resistant to trying bar food but my son loves going there with his friends so, I had to give it a try and to my surprise, the food was absolutely amazing. I used to only order the sample platter, steak sandwich and chicken wings but last night I tried their steak fajitas and it was surprisingly spectacular. Their margarita didn't taste as authentic as the food made by authentic Mexicans. However the manager was kind enough to offer me an amazing old fashioned and the bartender nailed it making my experience even more special. I'm not a fan of dive bars but they make you feel very welcome definitely turning into one of my regular places to go!“

“Down-to-earth, humble spot for some Chicago fast food! They have gyros, hot dogs, burgers, shish-kabob, Italian beef, fries, onion rings, and more. When I was here I got the #8 Greek chicken which was nicely seasoned broiled chicken, garlic bread, and rice. It came piping hot and fresh and served with a drink. I loved it! Their fries and onion rings were delicious, too. Pop's totally reminds me of a true Chicagoan spot for some grub - you'll see locals coming in and out while talking with the staff (because they're regulars) about the Bears, work, or construction nearby on I-90 (very Chicagoan). I loved the lowkey and charming feel here. Their pricing is affordable with most combos (including fries and a drink) being under $11. It's better to eat individually or with 1 person if you want to dine-in since they don't have tables inside, just a built-in tabletop against the walls so you're facing the window/wall when you eat. I recommend taking your food to-go. The 2 men at the counter helping me were personable and approachable. Located in a tiny stip mall off the busy street, this place is a small spot with convenient parking right out in front. “Tonight our family took fall portraits and our photographer gave our daughter a plastic spider ring that quickly became a very prized possession. After photos, we went to dinner at Ditka's Grill. Our daughter was using her bread plate to play with the ring. At some point during dinner, the bread plates had been cleared… ring & all. I went out on a limb and mentioned it to the hostess. My daughter had gotten curious about the ring but so far, we had avoided meltdown territory. The hostess let the General Manager, Zach, know about the situation. About 10 minutes later, Zach approached our table, knelt down in front of our daughter, and held out the (freshly cleaned) ring. “I believe this belongs to you, miss?” he said. My jaw is still on the ground. Thank you Ditka’s Grill and Zach for going so far beyond customer service. You are a GEM! Also the steak, seafood, cocktails, and wine were spectacular - as usual.“

It is called Meal of the Day and has some great southern cuisine in an establishment on the 4th floor of a business complex overlooking I 290. It is appointed with some great art from notable black artists . There is also a banner from Hales Franciscan Class of 1979 , not sure what that’ s all about .. lol! They also do on site catering and have fed the masses after masses at their home church . Check them out ! My fraternity brother has been telling me for years to make the drive and wifey and I finally did and it was so worth it ! .“

Then just when I thought it couldn't get any better. A band started jamming and they sounded incredible! The glass wall in between us created the perfect amount of sound. We ordered pizza and it was hot and delicious. Our bartenders were friendly and attentive.“
