“I love love my food my suggestion I like my food hot so eating at the restaurant would definitely be better. I had no problem with warming it up a preparation I enjoyed I remove shell from my shrimp,I broke the crab pull the meat out dice the potatoes and pour the spicy sauce over the corn and almost hurt myself it was sooo good.“
“My daughter in law frequents this restaurant, often. Therefore, I decided to order shrimp boil for $14.99. I noticed there was an increase in prices. I believe it use to be $2.00 less. Anyway, I was greeted with a smile by a guy, don't know if he was the owner, and the cashier. He also gave a suggestion on the seasoning. It was cajun and lemon pepper..Nice customer service and the food was good.“
“All I can say is WOW! This steakhouse was incredible! Cannot recommend enough. The meat paradise was truly an experience and a delicious one at that. Our server, Leo, was probably one of the best servers we’ve ever had anywhere with his charismatic personality and caring service. He truly made this restaurant a memorable time! Forget about Brazilian steak houses or what not, money was WAY better spent here! Photo is before the delicious steak was grilled to our liking in front of us.“
“Restaurant in China Town of Chicago .There are a lot of choices. The big fresh fish made in different way are really good ?I had the dumpling and goyza very good ...Also the friderice was very good but just too big for one portion ...I would have the possibility to order small plate of the dishes in the way to try little bit of more different taste ...Of course with less price ...The price are little bit too high I think to be a Chinese restaurant. But quality is good and the quantity also are big ..“
“This place is slept on. Food is amazing, staff is professional. Hope the food and prices stay the same. My favorite spot in the south side by far. At the moment, they are better than Albawadi and fatooush. Mixed grill or one of the sandwiches, you can’t go “
“My husband and I really enjoy great service and paired with good food; it is worth our time and money. Even though our visit was on the spur of the moment, we were able to get a great table. We arrived about 30 min to an hour before the restaurant became full. We were treated the same as those who had prior reservations and we were not rushed. The service/sever was great. Alex was very familiar with the menu, providing excellent descriptions of specials . Alex was attentive, checking to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Alex was also kind and friendly. Our meal (roasted chicken) was delicious. The chicken was cooked to perfection….very tender. If we could change one thing (minor) would be the lemon and caper jus. Flavor/taste was good, but it was just a little too much for us….the mash potatoes (which were tasty) disappeared into the jus. Loved the kale…very tender. Now, for the dessert(s); we are not sure how often the dessert menu changes, but the dessert menu on Saturday, April 12, 2024, presented a hard choice. Saving calories, we opted to share….we chose the Pound Cake filled with warm banana pudding, and drizzled with a rum sauce. This dessert was “De-Lish”, and worth every calorie. The pound cake was moist with a nice texture and the banana pudding was warm and full of flavor. Also, the sauce was so delicious, we tried to get every drop off the plate.?Again, we would recommend Chicago Firehouse!“
“For me. The best hotdog and fries in Chicago. Great atmosphere. Nice and clean. Overhearing some of the conversations between staff during food call outs are funny as hell. Everyone is known as honey, sweetie, or sweetheart. The mom and daughter duo are great.“
“Ordered takeout and everything was amazing!! Would highly recommend checking this place out, we tried a bit of everything. The seafood was fantastic and very fresh tasting, the beef was very flavorful and juicy, and the chicken was super crispy. Would love to go back to try the chili fusion shrimp and crab rangoon next time!“
“This was my Second time visiting this restaurant, and I brought my guy in to try their food. Ms. Darcy waited on us, and she was warm, and inviting as we walked in. We didn’t even have to get up when our food was ready, Ms. Darcy brought it to us!! He had a catfish dinner, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! I had the chicken wing dinner and it was a hit as well!! We tried the jerk egg rolls as well once we got home and they were good…not spicy enough for my taste though. The atmosphere here was a bit “smoky” I’m sure from the grills but the smoke consumed the dining room atmosphere. Overall, we were pleased with the food and may come back to pick up take out!“
“The restaurant has been updated with a fresh new look. Delicious, freshly prepared food and courteous service make Triple Crown Restaurant a favorite when visiting Chinatown.Parking: Although it was a very busy Saturday night, we were able to find parking in the paid parking lot. The paid parking lot is very convenient to the restaurants and to the EL also.“
“I got some insider information that this is one of the better dim sum places, and it did not disappoint! I was part of a larger group (7 people) so we actually got a private room which was super nice. The only reservation system is a little weird (only Monday-Thursday available to reserve online), but I just called a couple days in advance and that worked out. Dolo has a nice selection of dim sum options, especially congee. There were so many unique ones to choose from! The preserved egg congee was great, and you can't really go wrong with any of the dim sum. We ordered a couple vegetable dishes which were also great (not too oily/salty). Compared to other dim sum restaurants, I think Dolo leaned toward having less salty in general, which I loved. Would highly recommend!“
“the food is great, fresh and hot, and the service is great. Drinks are great. Music is great, just a great vibe. You can't go wrong, go check it outParking: park in the lot or on streetKid-friendliness: they can play games while eatingWheelchair accessibility: right on corner“
“Han 202 is a little known secret in Bridgeport. Truly a gem worth visiting if you are looking for a culinary experience featuring dishes packed with flavor, creativity, and skill. We've been frequenting this family owned and operated restaurant since it opened and have always had a memorable experience. The wine listoffers a variety of price points to fit any budget, all high quality, and some beautiful bottles rarely seen on a list. The food and the owners are the star of the show. From the Foie gras terrine with marmalade, shanghai dumpling, soft shell crab with sweet & sour chilli sauce to the the rack of lamb with Bonito plum sauce and the duck breat with szechuansauce..the pictures can't truly capture what you'll enjoy..just go there! You won't regret it.Parking: Plenty of street parking available.“
“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. This is a very friendly bar with colorful characters. Watch the game from any seat or select a song from touch tunes and dance your cares away. Try you luck on the gaming machines or just have a couple of drinks with your buds.Parking: I-57 close byWheelchair accessibility: Easy access ramp“
“10 out of 10 across the board!! I loved it here and I'm still thinking about the food! The service was great and so were the drinks. We even got 2 free drinks because the bartender made extra. I ordered the Rasta Pasta with salmon and shrimp and the flavor and spice level was perfect. Super flavorful. I forget the name of the dessert puffs, which were decent, but the Caramel Rum cake was so much better. Super moist and not too sweet. The space is small so I would suggest a reservation, but they also have a full bar with seating for walk-ins. The owner was even walking around and checking on everyone, which is always a green flag at a restaurant for me.“
“Food always delicious!!! Service always delivers-they are the complete package!!!Food delicious hot and reasonably priced. Service is tops, ambiance is very relaxing non rushed and constantly given refills and you can enjoy at leisure Always my place for dim sum“
“As someone with a peanut allergy who loves pad Thai it can be so hard to find a place that can make sure it’s allergen free. Jewel of Siam did just that and it was the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. I found my new go to place! Highly recommend their food and the restaurant and staff are lovely.Dietary restrictions: Staff is accommodating to nut allergies“
“No photos of the food. I tend to always enjoy the environment. Nonetheless this was my first time visit to an African restaurant as I look to explore different foods. The hospitality was great! We were greeted right away and since the place wasn't packed, we sat wherever was open. Food was good. I had lamb and shrimp with fufu. Overall the experience was good. I would go back just for the service.“
“The food is delicious at Lawrence's on 22nd and Canal Street! The staff are amazing, down-to-Earth, & I love the atmosphere! I feel safe at Lawrence's and genuinely cared about! I would like to recognize, Ms. Rose ?, for a raise, promotion, or some sort of acknowledgement of the excellent managerial and personal communications skills that Ms. Rose possesses! Thank You Lawrence's for always being so kind and I love your fries extra crispy... lol...!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on the menu! You can always order fries, have a dessert, Cole slaw, and onion rings! I guarantee that a vegetarian will love ensuite their level of vegetarian or vegan eating guidelines!Dietary restrictions: Yes, the menu definitely can work for someone with dietary restrictions! If calories are an issue, small portions, and non-fried foods would be a great choice! For those that have to watch sugar intake, there are many ways to make a meal with lots of protein and low sugar work, & still be scrumptious and satisfying! Fish is an excellent source of protein and can be an excellent source of omega-3s, that support heart function, help pregnant women and their fetus or fetuses develop wonderful brain functioning and neuron efficiency in both the mother and the baby or babies living in the, "Mommy-Inutero-Hotel-Tummy", add omega-3s are great for mood stabilization and they even cause your skin to shine!Parking: The parking lot is very safe, full of spaces, and to have free parking is a luxury in Chicago, Illinois...! Please be very respectful when you park here and throw garbage out in the plentiful garbage cans that are all around! Also, on the weekends Lawrence is becomes super busy with 21-year-olds or younger, some older, and the place is packed! If you would like to come during the week for family time try to come earlier and not late on the weekends!I always see the staff cleaning up the parking lot and the less that they have to do is better! There is such a peaceful feeling in this parking lot and it is nice to be right by the canal!Kid-friendliness: I absolutely would recommend this Lawrence's for birthday parties during the week for children, it is a safe environment for children, and could be a wonderful place for a party or graduation!I just would recommend that parties for children be during the daytime or during the week when it is not super packed with the wonderful clientele of younger age that love to hang out here!Wheelchair accessibility: Lawrence's has a huge parking lot and a wheelchair ramp accessible entrance to the left when you pull into the parking lot on the far left side! If I'm not mistaken there is also a wheelchair accessible entrance and ramp to enter Lawrence's fish and shrimp on the Canal Street entrance! The bathroom is wheelchair accessible, the tables to eat at are wheelchair accessible, and I am quite certain that the staff would make any adjustments for someone who may have a disability and would need a different spot to eat inside while needing to utilize the wheelchair!“
“Like this old school fish market I imagine it's been around for a minute. I am new to coming here but because of the distance I don't come often. But when I do the people who work here are very nice The cashier is very sweet. And the guys that cut the fish they always aim to please offer great options. Making the distance to travel here all worth it.“
“The food was amazing! I live in the suburbs and wouldn’t definitely make the trip to them. I’ve tried different places with the same menu and none of them come close! Definitely going back and recommending it to anyone looking for a really good boil.“
“Let me start by saying I love black owned businesses! I've been living in the city my entire life and this my first time actually trying this place to my memory and it did not disappoint! Don't let my pictures fool you, those were taken in the middle of me eating and I knew then I had to leave a review! The spaghetti is tasty and the shrimp are really seasoned! The service is pretty quick and efficient, I liked it! The ambiance is pretty chill, I enjoyed seeing all the articles about Mr. Haire and even the memorial area they have set up for him it was really touching! I will surely be back to eat again!!“
“This is a great stop for those exploring Chinatown in Chicago. The seafood is fresh - and even alive! The oysters were massive and delicious. The roast duck was an all star at the table. Explored with the jellyfish, which was perfect with chili sauce. The tofu and mushroom dish with bok choy is a must. Their dumplings are so filling and perfectly crafted with the herbs and meat.“
“The fish and food is soooo good! I live in Atlanta but was able to pull up when I was in Chicago last year. I love that they are opened late for those late night cravings. They only had one woman taking orders and she was working like an ox all with the best attitude! She definitely could have used some help. Nevertheless, it was a good experience and I can't wait to go back!“
“It is difficult to taste a dish with a Mexican flavor here in Chicago, it is difficult because most restaurants lose the seasoning oerooo wow I was surprised at this restaurant. From the moment you enter you can smell beautiful Mexico.now the service is incredible, super attentive and friendly, in my case I ordered some shrimp in the eye. And they served it to me very quickly, in about 5 minutes, the other dish, sautéed shrimp, took about 15 minutes. The fish ceviche was super delicious. The garlic shrimp is very very delicious, the dish is very delicious, with the French fries, the rice is very very deliciousIn conclusion, if you want to feel like you're in Mexico, come eat here, you won't regret it.The cost is good, because they serve you michooo in each dish“
“If you love a local dive bar, where the people know you, the owner's awesome, & the drinks are stiff. Look no further! always inviting & drinks are good and inexpressive. The bartenders are attentive. The owner is hands on & personable. If your in Posen, stop by this little piece of “
“I’m a recent transplant from NC and sent my husband here because we are in the middle of moving and the last thing I wanted to do was cook. This food was AMAZING! I had the fish, Mac and cheese, collards, stuffing. The best fried fish I HAVE EVER HAD. It tasted home-made. Everything was fresh and good and I’d have taken a picture but I was too busy stuffing my face! My husband said the lady behind the counter was super sweet and offered suggestions and he (who does not eat fish!) ate half my fish!! The portions are HUGE for the price and I will be returning. Tomorrow probably.“
“I wanted some shrimp so bad couldn't find a restaurant close so I thought about Haires I drove to the Vincennes location order shrimp dinner with fries was very disappointed the shrimp was not cooked to light to greasy the fries no taste did not look the the menu on Facebook I spent $18 dollars it used to be good I will not be visiting again not satisfied at all“
“Beyond expectations! Countless memories of a night filled with joy and celebration - thank you Valladolid Banquet Hall for making my daughters quince amazing. Very emotional seeing my daughter's dream exactly how we envision it coming true. Beautiful decor, service was great, and the food was delicious. We can't wait to be back. Please keep us up to date with any upcoming events! Thank you Valladolid Banquet Hall again.“
“Went here this evening. The establishment is very clean and spaced out, so you’re not crammed in trying to enjoy your meal. I ordered a strawberry margarita, it was good, could’ve had a lil more liquor in it but it wasn’t bad. I ordered the ceviche plate , it was tasty and nice and fresh. I would recommend this restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and on top of it. It’s very clean in here that’s another plus. So if you’re in the neighborhood, give it a try.Parking: There is a small lot and some street parking but it’s on a busy street .“
“It was a little after 9:00pm on a Saturday, when I spotted this J & J Restaurant. I went inside to place my order and was immediately impressed by its cleanliness. The floor, tables/seats, counters and the food preparation area...all very clean. The young woman that took my order was friendly and courteous. There was only one person ahead of me, however, some people had phoned in their orders, so there was a waiting period. I didn't mind because the time went so quickly. Also, unlike other J & J's, this one has a drive-thru.I ordered 3 dinners to go; a small jack salmon, a small ocean perch and a 6 pc. chicken wing dinner. Extras included an order of fried okra, hush puppies and a corn on the cob (a full size ear). Each dinner included:French fries, a very small cup of coleslaw and 2 slices of white bread in addition to the mild and hot sauce they provide. The fish was fried to perfection, light and crispy, not greasy. The chicken was also fried to perfection, crispy and not hard or greasy. All the side dishes were well prepared. Since none of us eats coleslaw or white bread, I can't speak about them.As for being different, in addition to its drive-thru, this J & J offers a variety of foods that I've never seen offered in any of the others; tacos, spaghetti, and a selection of salads, just to name a few.“
“Tried the Oak Park location on a Wednesday night. It was FANTASTIC! I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. They came with perfectly seasoned red potatoes and corn on the cob. My partner ordered (fried) shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. The shrimp was very fresh. We also ordered fresh cut fries and they were outstanding, though they could use a bit more seasoning. But extra seasoning was brought upon request. The owner, Shawn, brought out the food, was attentive to our needs, and even struck up a friendly conversation as we left. Fantastic decor/theme, friendly staff and exceptional service! 10/10, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great dinner! Two dinners, since I had leftovers!“
“Very quick I like that you can create your personal noodles as you like, pretty quick service with food so hot that it sautéed my tongue blue-rare, the crab ragoon so creamy and crunchy at the same time.Vegetarian options: They give vegetarian options for each part of the process of the noodle customization“
“Always pass by and decided to give it a try and let me tell you I DO NOT REGRET! From empanadas (which are huge) , to the ceviche and last but not least the logostinos were absolutely BOMB! The service matched the flavor of the food because not once did I have to look for anyone. Thank you for a great experience!“
“Food is delicious and karaoke on Friday just made the experience 100x better! Service is amazing; everyone is very polite and attentive. Have only visited twice and this restaurant has easily made it to my favorites list. Definitely recommend the Agua de Melon verde as well it’s to die for!!“
“This. Place. Slaps. Like omg. I got the lemon pepper chicken tenders w fries and fried shrooms and the Beyoncé tea jug. The chicken and fries were so good, I didn’t even need to dig for the sauces I didn’t even know were in the bottom of the bag (bbq and ranch, not anything special). The shrooms were so fly, my cat ripped into the bag while I was sleeping and had some. (He also ripped into the empty chicken box hoping for a snack there, too.) I heated the shrooms up the next day w some shredded cheese on top and it was ???. They also heavily advertise that they take ebt, but they will add on a $2 cash charge to an ebt purchase, fyi. The ppl watching inside was GREAT. the gal behind the glass was sooo sweet. Whoever’s mans was in the kitchen needs all the gold stars. They also have some groceries for sale like pantry items, ice creams in a cooler, a kiddie gum-ball machine. It’s connected to a shell, so you can fill up, get your scratchers, buy yo ciggies all at the same time, God willing. Srsly, God WOULD eat here if he touched down on the S Side for a day, hand to God. ? also, there’s no eat-in fyi, but it’s so good, I devoured most of it in the car driving to the TJs for snacks/dips. (Dips that I didn’t even need bc it was So. Dayum. Good. By itself. Srlsly) I’m gonna be having dreams about this place until I go back. I can only imagine how good the rest of their fancier menu items are. Tbone?! Crab legs?!! Lobstaaa tail?!!! Lolll who needs to get groceries for the rest of the month when you can have a feast from here?!?! (Jk/not rlly jk) Go. Gogogogogogogo ??Parking: Buncha spots in front connected to shell stationKid-friendliness: Easy walk-in, grab n go kinda place.“
“The food is great . Caldo de mariscos is great. Only bad thing that the waitress they need to wake up and smell the coffee and pay more attention to there customers not one single time they asked me if I was ok or I needed anything to on that side poor service. But the food is great.“
“First time trying this place and I was blown away. The Chicago style shrimp were amazing and the deep fried cauliflower was the sleeper hit of the sides. William was amazing with answering questions and when I mentioned a food allergy in the party he immediately went in back to grab to item I was concerned about to let me check the ingredients myself. That kind of customer service is rare and appreciated. We will be back...after the food coma. I ate way too much but it was SO good.“
“One of the few great Chinese Restaurants for dinner!Make sure to come early when the restaurant opens, there is usually a long line. Since this place is small, I disliked the seatings. All the tables were so close to the next. People from the next tables, front tables, and the ones in line kept staring at one another, so it was very uncomfortable to enjoy your meal.Ordered the twin lobster with sticky rice (MP varies), fish fillet with green onion and ginger, and a veg/mushroom/celery dish. All were very tasty but oily, but that's in all Chinese cuisine. Everything came out very quickly. Very nice staffs! Although the sticky rice had a good texture, I preferred steamed white rice. This place definitely brought back most noglastic flavors. Highly recommend and definitely come back for more!“
“Came here to celebrate my friend passing his finals Lol. Really chill place overall ! We got to catch up on a lot of things. The only reason why im not giving it 5/5 was because the food took a little long to come out. Overall it was all good, especially the drinks they had ! Thanks guys !“
“My new favorite go to Chinese food restaurant! The owners are so kind, gave my children candy when we came in to pick up. Everything I had was very tasty. My go to's are Sesame chicken, egg rolls, crab ragoon, beef with peapods, and fried rice. They are all amazing so far. Chicken actually looks and tastes like real chicken. All the vegatables are fresh and you can tell. 5 stars! Also the food is FAST and not greasy like some places!“
“The food was amazing. Waitress was very attentive and made great recommendations. I had a shrimp tostada, ceviche, and a seafood dinner entree that I couldn't name with mussels, fish, and shrimp served in a pineapple half. Everything was 10/10. The sauce tastes good on EVERYTHING. Highly recommend.Parking: Paid street parking is available. I believe there's additional parking in the rear as well.Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible.“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is constantly DELICIOUS and the staff is super friendly and accommodating! They have EXCELLENT margaritas, too. One of my FAVORITES!Parking: Free parking lot and $5 street parking for 2 hours.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground Level, no stairs.“
“I tried their food for the first time a few weeks ago and I've been HOOKED ever since that day!!! Their food was so good, I had to have them a second and third day in a row... It's SO SO GOOD! Did I say it was good. it's not good, it's GREAT! Customer service is amazing. I give them a 300 out of 100... HEY THEY ARE THE BOMB! , GOOD FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE!“
“Great food, the Chicago Style shrimp crackle with flavor with every bite! Fish chips are also tasty. I have been eating Franks for the last 10 years and it's always on point. I wish they had a dine in area to enjoy the freshness there. Never been served anything I didn't like here.“

“Their shrimp is to die for the food is very cheap and very good for the price. Normally some places with cheap food it’d be nasty but not the Jimmys on 79th and Loomis hands down. I ate there three times this week and each time the food was very satisfying and great customer service.“
“Heinie's is a culinary delight that should not be missed. Whether you're a fan of flavorful chicken or a lover of spicy sauces, this place has something for everyone. With top-notch food, friendly service, and an inviting ambiance, Heinie's is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts looking to tantalize their taste buds.“
“We came there out of curiosity, it was the best decision we could make. The house oysters are, without exaggeration, THE BEST I have eaten in Chicago, purists might complain about that hidden but well-measured Maggie sauce flavor, but like conservatives, we must make them understand that perfection is not in their Boring ways of doing things. The micheldada is cool!!!“
“I came here with family and friends to celebrate my two kids' birthday, and we had an awesome time. The hibachi is a must do. The kids and adults enjoyed not only the food but the entertainment of the chefs. I ordered the chicken and steak and they both were very good along with the other sides the chefs cooked up in front of us.“
