“It's been forever since I've had take-out Chinese food. With my family out of town, I had to get some! For $40, I got enough food for four days. It reheated well. The General Tso's chicken had just enough kick. The beef fried rice was plenty beefy. They had a steady stream of customers in and out. I can't wait to go back.“
“Chi-Tung seems to have captured the title as the best place for groups to celebrate birthdays on the South side of Chicago. The hibachi grill delivers tasty food in abundance from soup to dessert. We all packed up enough food for a second meal. There's something really fun about watching the chef quickly and expertly cook your food in front of you. My hats off to Toby and Ken for being game enough to go for the sake streams from the squirt bottles into their mouths--twice! Call me chicken!“
“Walking through New Chinatown we stopped to give this place a try, especially after seeing the Michelin awards poster for multiple years in a row. The wait was about 1hr and seating was very limited so plan ahead. Now once we were seated the service was fast and food came out in a timely manner. For the food I had mixed feelings, but want to start with saying that the food was good and very enjoyable. My only observation was that it was not a super flavorful taste ( little on the lightly seasoned side) but the texture and quality was on point. I had mixed feelings because I was expecting a bit more punch of flavor, especially since the Michelin ratings definitely grabbed our attention. Now the "pros" side of this is that you can eat alot of the food and not feel overwhelmed since flavor was more on the tamed side. That being said we enjoyed our meals and ordered multiple unique dishes and didn't feel overwhelmed. Walked away very satiated. Would definitely recommend with family style eating. Pork belly and dumplings were amazing!“
“I'm giving 4 or of 5 stars based on food taste preference. I ordered shrimp fried rice, spring rolls, Crab Rangoon, and pork pot stickers. Food was hot and fresh. Parking was free in front there's a step to get in so not wheelchair accessible. The restaurant was clean, I would order from here again.“
“First time there. Great experience, no disappointment. Meat ordered served are fresh, as well as the vegetables. Simple varieties of snacks and desserts but were good, love them. Thus restaurant is highly recommended.Parking: The free parking lot is located across from the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: They have an accessibility ramp for wheelchair, it's so convenience.“
“Restaurant in China Town of Chicago .There are a lot of choices. The big fresh fish made in different way are really good ?I had the dumpling and goyza very good ...Also the friderice was very good but just too big for one portion ...I would have the possibility to order small plate of the dishes in the way to try little bit of more different taste ...Of course with less price ...The price are little bit too high I think to be a Chinese restaurant. But quality is good and the quantity also are big ..“
“Update:I guess things have really changed!!! Not great and not even good. Biggest issue, we received 2 incorrect dishes than what was ordered. Portions were smaller and food was very sloppy.Hot & sour soup was very smoky, almost burned tasting.9 months ago: Our family voted, best Szechuan restaurant in the country! After trying several across the US over the past few years, this is a gem for Chicago. You don't want to miss it.The food here is hot, fresh, and loaded with flavor!“
“Ordered takeout and everything was amazing!! Would highly recommend checking this place out, we tried a bit of everything. The seafood was fantastic and very fresh tasting, the beef was very flavorful and juicy, and the chicken was super crispy. Would love to go back to try the chili fusion shrimp and crab rangoon next time!“
“I got some insider information that this is one of the better dim sum places, and it did not disappoint! I was part of a larger group (7 people) so we actually got a private room which was super nice. The only reservation system is a little weird (only Monday-Thursday available to reserve online), but I just called a couple days in advance and that worked out. Dolo has a nice selection of dim sum options, especially congee. There were so many unique ones to choose from! The preserved egg congee was great, and you can't really go wrong with any of the dim sum. We ordered a couple vegetable dishes which were also great (not too oily/salty). Compared to other dim sum restaurants, I think Dolo leaned toward having less salty in general, which I loved. Would highly recommend!“
“We went to visit my grandma in Texas recently and we decided to try Haidilao in Frisco. How about 10 stars!! Soup was amazing and friendly staffs. Employee Mei was amazing! She made us felt at home and really took care of my daughter Maylee. Highly recommend Mei.“
“Ever since my go to restaurant Hong Min closed, I have been searching for a new Chinese restaurant. I live 4 minutes away and my girlfriends wanted to try this new restaurant Harmony in Palos Heights. They both ordered Pina coladas and they said it's pricey but pretty delicious. My dirty martini is gross. Dirty martini was my choice of drink so I've had quite a few and this is one that normally tells you they don't know what they're doing. It's just straight up vodka. No vermouth and no brine. Nothing but vodka with ice.Service was pleasant. Very friendly and the place was pretty big. Love how spacious the booths are which was very comfortable.Pot stickers was big and doughy and I had the Mongolian beef and it was delicious but it is spicy. I can eat spice and this was right up my alley. Chicken fried rice was also pretty good. Love how big the portions are and not skimpy at all.If my dirty martini was good, I probably would have given them 5 stars. It is my fault for ordering a dirty at a Chinese restaurant but with a liquor license, I expect that's doable. They could have simply say, please order from the menu or wine. We don't do martinis. Still a decent 4 stars. Will definitely be back for other dishes maybe no alcohol for me.“
“Han 202 is a little known secret in Bridgeport. Truly a gem worth visiting if you are looking for a culinary experience featuring dishes packed with flavor, creativity, and skill. We've been frequenting this family owned and operated restaurant since it opened and have always had a memorable experience. The wine listoffers a variety of price points to fit any budget, all high quality, and some beautiful bottles rarely seen on a list. The food and the owners are the star of the show. From the Foie gras terrine with marmalade, shanghai dumpling, soft shell crab with sweet & sour chilli sauce to the the rack of lamb with Bonito plum sauce and the duck breat with szechuansauce..the pictures can't truly capture what you'll enjoy..just go there! You won't regret it.Parking: Plenty of street parking available.“
“The Food is sooooo good!!!I've been gone from Chicago for the last 8 years. There are no more Asian cuisine like it was when I was here. More importantly it's hard to find good food that tastes like it did when I was here, before I left 8 years ago.Is good to be welcomed home!!!Keep up the good work thank you for the yummy food, will frequent often.“
“Food always delicious!!! Service always delivers-they are the complete package!!!Food delicious hot and reasonably priced. Service is tops, ambiance is very relaxing non rushed and constantly given refills and you can enjoy at leisure Always my place for dim sum“
“-1 star because the place smells like cigarettes and my brisket was wayyyy too fatty with not much meat.4 stars because the food came out fast and the broth was pretty good. Wanton (pork/shrimp) was one of the best wanton I ever had. Waitress was friendly and was very patient with the next table who arent Chinese and had a LOT of questions. Their beef shank is very tender and well marinated so I definitely recommend that over brisket (pictured). Price is on the low side. I will visit again :-)Side note: I was very thirsty after this meal.“
“Try the spicy lamb stirred fried with thin cilantro. It’s a personal favorite of mine. I asked for it to be mildly spicy and it was done perfectly tender and just a hint of spiciness. We also had eggplant fish fillet chow fun (thick noodles) and golden stirred fried tofu. All of these are excellent. Not too heavy in the sauce and you can taste the actual food that’s in it. The chow fun was slightly too soft— but still delicious. More firmness would be perfect. Over all 4.8 stars so I round it up to a five. 4 stars for the atmosphere as seating near the door is not recommended. We went on a cold day and waiting guests kept the door open and made our food cold. I had to tell them to close it myself. The host was too busy.“
“We heard the place had great noodles and they did not disappoint. The waiter was great, he was patient and explained the entrees. Our food came out quickly. The ramen and noodles were delicious. The shrimp tempura had a light crispy batter. We have been back several times to eat here. There is plenty of indoor parking“
“Really, really, really great Chinese food! Everything is made fresh and made at order..Seen how everything is made with real and fresh ingredients is amazing! Honestly, my whole family talked how is better than other restaurant we gone around town.Check out the pics for your self and see how delicious it looks! A must try in Chicago Lawn AreaOwners are nice..You won’t regret it!“
“I am very picky about my Chinese Food.. I would travel to Oak Park from Chicago South side for food, since trying the food here… I must say the food is excellent, clean energy and nice space… staff nice and food is always fresh…Vegetarian options: Everything nice“
“Dongpo Impression is one of the best Sichuan restaurants in the city with a no-frills family-style vibe and very friendly service. Among the dishes we tried, the Sichuan wonton, Dry Chili Chicken, and Sichuan string beans were our standout favorites. The smoked tea duck was also very fragrant though with a slightly lighter flavor profile. It was a satisfying meal overall, and the flavors of the dishes were spicy yet well-balanced.“
“let me tell you i was STUFFED after this meal and I had to bring leftovers home. The portion size is huge as you can see and the dumplings are very satisfying. We got both fried and boiled and both were super delicious but the boiled dumplings had a softer bite to it while the fried ones were thicker and fluffier due to the dough rising. The staff were super polite and the ambiance was very calming. This is not a quick eats restaurant this is a place to sit and talk and drink tea for a while. The food did take quite some time to come out but I understand because every authentic local dumpling place i've been to has been like that. It's not unenjoyable but just expect to wait a while for your food.“
“This is a great stop for those exploring Chinatown in Chicago. The seafood is fresh - and even alive! The oysters were massive and delicious. The roast duck was an all star at the table. Explored with the jellyfish, which was perfect with chili sauce. The tofu and mushroom dish with bok choy is a must. Their dumplings are so filling and perfectly crafted with the herbs and meat.“
“I've lived in Chicago for over 70 years. The last time we visited Chinatown was over 10 years ago. We decided to check out Emperor"s choice restaurant on Wentworth/Cermak. The best decision ever. Hank was a awesome waitperson! He even brought out 5 different noodles for me to pick out the one I wanted. From drinks, appetizers, and main entrees, everything was delicious and worth the price which was quite reasonable. We'll be back!“
“Had their 沸腾活鱼 and it was delicious! You can definitely taste the freshness of the fish filet plus the whole dish was spicy and flavorful.Do not let the location (basement of the mall) and the appearance of the store fool you, they make some delicious Szechuan dishes.“
“Amazing and delicious food! It doesn’t take very long to bring the dishes out and we found all the ones we tried were so tasty (highly recommend the cumin beef). As other reviews mention, the service is lacking once they give you the food, but considering the taste and the affordable price/portions, we will definitely be back!“
“Very quick I like that you can create your personal noodles as you like, pretty quick service with food so hot that it sautéed my tongue blue-rare, the crab ragoon so creamy and crunchy at the same time.Vegetarian options: They give vegetarian options for each part of the process of the noodle customization“
“quick and casual spot for food and drinks. they have an extensive list of bubble tea/fruit drinks. I usually go for their fresh fruit freeze cause I think it's their specialty, i love anything with mango in it. I got the beef with tomato sauce for food and it was good, the portion size was big and I ended up taking half to go.“
“I've been living in the greater chicagoland area for 3 years now and have struggled to find my go-to chinese spot and I finally found it! The egg rolls were delicious and so was the lo-me in. There is no dine it option, but your order is ready to carry away when you get there. Seamless pick-up with old school chinese restaurant charm.“
“We ordered eef short ribs (salt and pepper), shrimp fried rice, and chicken lo Mein. Very nice staff. Large portions even for the small dish. Short ribs were fantastic! Chicken Lo Mein was spicy and flavorful. Fried rice was OK. Definitely will come again. Limited seating. Felt bad for four large fish in the small fish tank.“
“This place is great in my opinion, come here whenever I want some Chinese food , they're quick to get your order out , the food is hot n fresh , there are multiple ways to order ( I order over the phone ) they never disappoint, the lady at the front counter is always nice and patient , if u want a good hot meal this the spot , it can get busy but it's worth it ?“
“This was a fantastic Asian restaurant that we found on our recent vacation in the Chinatown part of Chicago. As you would expect in Chinatown this place had very authentic Asian cuisine specializing in Ramen Noodle and soup style dishes. We started off with an appetizer of Small Steamed Buns. Now I had never had this particular dish before and it was really good. It has dough on the outside and then a meaty middle and it's really something delicious. Highly recommend this. For my main course I tried the House Special which was basically several variations of beef in a broth with mixed vegetables. The beef was fantastic and that broth had some serious flavour. I had never had an Asian soup/Ramen type of dish with quite such flavour. The staff was superb and the restaurant looked really authentic and good. I definitely enjoyed my experience here and give it my full recommendation.“
“A relatively newer restaurant in Chinatown with reasonable prices and portions for the price. They have a large menu so there are many different Chinese dishes to choose from and you can order from an iPad at the table which makes it a little easier, though the server will confirm your order. And you can get complimentary tea if you want! Typical Chinese restaurant vibes, located in the New Chinatown side near Tiger Sugar. They have boba drinks here too. Definitely worth checking out!“
“Go now!Love that the menu and checkout are all on your phone! They have paper menus if you need it.I know this is cliche but the general tsao chicken is the best I've had.The braised pork with veggies....perfect for a cold night.I will be returning!“
“Very delicious barbecue. I like the cold side dishes here. They are purely for our Northeastern taste. The boss is very nice and the waiters are warm and thoughtful. I will come here to have a meal every time I go back to Chicago. I highly recommend it. Thank you!“
“YES I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The food is delicious and FAST. Ordering is done in a tablet so it's great if I'm feeling especially non verbal. The sauces that they have out on their condiments bar are TO DIE for. I I want that injected into my veins.“
“Where to start where to start. Came here with some friends prior to a concert, an hour before close. My god. Super impressed, coulda been more spicy (personal choice) but my god it was so gooood! Would have taken pictures but a boy was hungry and smashed. Took like 10-15 mins to get the food, cmon thats some fasttttt service. Very kind and lovely staff, gave a wonderful vibe. Can't lie too that music was boppinggggg, can't wait to come back again and try more food. Maybe I can show the beauty that was Friend BBQ.“
“One of the few great Chinese Restaurants for dinner!Make sure to come early when the restaurant opens, there is usually a long line. Since this place is small, I disliked the seatings. All the tables were so close to the next. People from the next tables, front tables, and the ones in line kept staring at one another, so it was very uncomfortable to enjoy your meal.Ordered the twin lobster with sticky rice (MP varies), fish fillet with green onion and ginger, and a veg/mushroom/celery dish. All were very tasty but oily, but that's in all Chinese cuisine. Everything came out very quickly. Very nice staffs! Although the sticky rice had a good texture, I preferred steamed white rice. This place definitely brought back most noglastic flavors. Highly recommend and definitely come back for more!“
“We have gone her so many times. This place never disappoints us. The ladies are super nice. Food is served fast. They also pack the left overs for you. They also have vegetarian options. They have these super delicious almond cookies they give along with the fortune cookies.Thr decorations inside are unique and give a nice cozy look.Occasionally there are free music shows. One night there was Rod Stewart. We didn’t know about him, but we checked later. He is a celebrity of sorts.“
“My new favorite go to Chinese food restaurant! The owners are so kind, gave my children candy when we came in to pick up. Everything I had was very tasty. My go to's are Sesame chicken, egg rolls, crab ragoon, beef with peapods, and fried rice. They are all amazing so far. Chicken actually looks and tastes like real chicken. All the vegatables are fresh and you can tell. 5 stars! Also the food is FAST and not greasy like some places!“
“Classic clay pot flavors that brings back memories here a Jonny's. Located in the back of a grocery store with many items to choose from as my favorite is the Chinese sausage and pork for $13. Pick a seat and they will bring it to your table. Suggestion to confirm you get the crispiest rice, let the rice sit for a few minutes before pouring sweet soy in your rice. No frills but you get a great meal. Highly recommend and free parking. They close at 7pm but you can sit until 8 as the grocery store is closed at that time.“
“I ordered two sets of double rice, barbecued pork with soy sauce chicken and barbecued pork with imperial concubine chicken. It was really a good deal at $12 a portion. The part chosen for the barbecued pork is standard plum pork, which is very good, but the taste is a little bland. The soy sauce chicken and imperial concubine chicken are very delicious, tender and flavourful. recommend! Next time I come, I plan to buy half a chicken and take it home to eat.“
“This was a good Chinese restaurant, kind of small inside but there is seating. Service was typically meh but the food was great. We were a group of 4 so we tried a lot of items. We ordered sliced marinated beef, lamb soup, biang biang noodles, cumin lamb flatbread, cumin beef flatbread, lamb skewer, noodles with tomato and egg sauce. They were all 5/5 in my book. Flavor was all there. Dishes were savory and delish. Portions were just right, no complaints. Prices are fair. No we did not get any food poisoning.“
“When you come to eat here, don’t park in the CVS parking lot opposite! Believe me, you will get a $170 ticket if you stop for even 1 minute. This place has been taken over by the shameful Innovative Parking Solutions towing company. They have three employees secretly ambushing several exits. Everyone's every move is photographed and closely monitored. As long as you have ever left that parking lot, even if it is only for 50 seconds. If you go shopping at CVS first and then walk your dog around the parking lot, you will get fined. They will disguise themselves as police officers. They are very disgusting. Don't park in any parking lot taken over by Innovative Parking Solutions in Chicago. Trust me!“
“My new favorite go to Chinese food restaurant!
“Dim Sum House is a hidden gem for frozen dim sum items such as siu mai (pork wrapped with dumpling wrapper). I usually go in to buy a pack of 20 frozen piece's for $8. They have other items listed at wholesale prices to anyone. Keep in mind they only take cash and there is no ATM nearby. Highly recommend.“
“This is our "go to" old fashioned Chinese restaurant. It's stuck in the 70's decor is still inviting. The thick gravy with tons of corn starch reminds me of my youth. It's clean and friendly and never to crowded (except on Thanksgiving and New Years eve). The prices are very reasonable and the service is quick. Very reliable. I usually get Moo shu and my friend always gets eggfoo young.“
“This place is currently on of my favorite places to get Chinese food! For start the owner, a lady, is super sweet! She gave me and my grandma some cookies that were really good! They all are very friendly :)Outside of that the food here is amazing, I love the chicken fried rice and the general tso's chicken! Their fruit teas are amazing and such a good price!100/10 recommend, it's a peaceful atmosphere as well. As someone with sensory issues it's great to eat here.“
“I commute 25 minutes across town to this location. I haven't found a Chinese returante in chicago that meets or exceeds my taste buds as they do. 8 years and two issues that were easily corrected after informing them. Try the chicken wings, you'll love them. Mongolian Beef is to die for, coupled with a pineapple smoothie to wash it down.“
“Vegetarian options: They can make any entree per your request. We often order Singapore Noodles without any meat or eggs.Dietary restrictions: They will make entrees to my request. For example I order chicken and broccoli steamed instead of with gravy and I have them make spicy ?“
“Food was great. I ordered egg rolls which were huge! Shrimp fried rice and sweet sour chicken. Takes time to prepare so call about an hour in advance. I believe there are just two people working. Perhaps a husband and wife business. Take out only!“
