“This is an amazing & food is always good! They just added outdoor seating so our puppy could join us.”

“I chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel, highly rated, and within our budget. When we arrived (party of 3), the sign said “Open,” but there was no music - just an Indian drama playing quietly on the TV behind the bar. Three people stood at the counter, but it wasn’t clear if they were staff or customers. No one greeted us. The space felt cluttered and bare at the same time: six empty tables with lightly used tablecloths, a tall table with a silverware caddy and a pile of untidy napkins, and a bar strewn with boxes, papers, and menus. We stood awkwardly until I picked up what I hoped was a menu for my party to review while we waited. Eventually, two people left, and the remaining man asked, “How many?” and motioned for us to sit. He brought over two more menus and three lukewarm waters—two lightly carbonated, one tap. No other customers arrived during our visit.

We ordered chai, palak paneer, lamb curry, garlic naan, and tandoori chicken. Given the minimal service and odd atmosphere, we weren’t sure what to expect. But when the food arrived - brought out by a woman who materialized from the back and the same gentleman who had seated us - we were immediately impressed by the presentation. Plates and silverware seemed like an afterthought, as both servers retrieved them from different areas after the food was already on the table. Still, the food blew us away: rich flavors and generous portions. It may have been the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I had to ask for more water, but the attendant returned promptly with a pitcher. I thought they had forgotten my chai, but it was served after we finished eating. Then came the surprise ending: the man returned to ask for my name and number, explaining they’d send a payment link later.

If the space had more intentional ambiance — some background music, clearer service, a tidier setup—it would’ve been an easy 5-star experience. Nevertheless, I’d still highly recommend this restaurant for the food alone. It's a hidden gem in need of polish.”

“The Marysville Taco Pros is always a great experience. We eat there weekly and we have never had a bad experience. It's the highlight of our week. Food is fresh, not loaded with salt, and the tortilla shells are delicious. Definitely a great addition to Marysville!”

“Best steak tacos around! Eggs are large and cooked to perfection! Hash browns are a thing of beauty! You go up to the counter, order and pay and they bring the food to your table. Great customer service. The interior is dated. Probably early 90s but it is very clean inside and seating is all booths that are very comfortable. Prices are reasonable. I'm a fan.”

“Do not miss a chance to get a sub from this wonderful shop attached to the bakery here. The ladies inside were very friendly and welcoming and the sandwich was a 10 out of 10. Fresh bread, fresh ingredients, I even watched her snip a few basil leaves off their basil plant in the front window for my sub. Just a really fantastic little shop. Be aware it is cash only but please don't let that stop you.”

We weren’t super hungry and didn’t order more than a salad, caprese pizza & wine but looked at the plates served to our neighbors who confirmed their food was as good as it looked. “Randomly found this spot while scrolling for Cajun food on google & decided to try it out. I must say that the food is amazing, we ordered Cajun boil & also tried their wings! Best Cajun I’ve ever had in the suburbs! Price was reasonable & service is amazing! They also have a private room you can rent out for big parties, they have a tv in there for watching movies or even karaoke!”

“This place is a gem. Family-run business. Friendly, personable service. The place is very well-maintained. The layout of the store is very appealing, and the fact of a 24-hour Subway inside a gas station/mini-mart on a busy corner in a hotel zone with neighborhoods nearby makes the place indispensable. Nice selection of basic phone cords and chargers, along with other expected items. The locals I saw coming and going seemed to appreciate it as well. I wish these folks the very best. 5 stars all around…”

“Sadly I won't be going here anymore. This was my pizza spot since a I was a kid. But now the new owners have completely ruined it. Their delivery time has easily doubled, one time took the an hour and a half to deliver a thin crust. I had to call and then wait for a call back from the manager. Extremely bad look especially when dealing with a customer who knows how they use to operate. Their receptionist do not understand simple pizza geometry at all and they have gotten really greedy. The last straw for me was when I realized they were charging full ingredient price when you would get half ingredient. Last I checked at traditional Chicago land pizza joints (like how nick and brunos use to be or how Mugs or Gianni's is down the street) if you got an ingredient on half the pizza you were charged half the ingredient price. Not here though they think they are Lou Malnati's!! They will put your ingredient on half the pizza and take the same amount of your money as if they had to use more ingredients aka cover the whole pizza. Worst part is, the receptionist couldn't tell me their pricing all she said was "I don't know, I just punch it into the computer". Hopefully the new owner can let go of their greed and carry out the well established name & business they took after instead of lossing 20 year plus customers. Man I miss the old nick and brunos!! Greed gets you no where in life. Don't let this business take away the true traditions of Chicago pizza. They need to change their profile picture because this is not the same nick and brunos from 1977.”

“Had an 10 pack delivered. 5 pepper jack and 5 smoked cheddar. Didn't really care for the smoked cheddar. Will go with pepper jack and american cheese next time. It was still nice to have fresh sliders again.”
