Buffalo Cauliflower was just lightly battered and peefectly cooked with a good plate full. The chickpea curry was yummy and I had grilled chicken with it. The desserts looked yummy but not this trip. So I decided to try a place nearby with a great word-of-mouth following & reputation.WHAT A FIND ( ok, NEW= To Me)This was the most amazing Char grilled-hand made Burger I've had in YEARS!! All topped with sweet grilled onions & the freshest butter lettuce, ripe juicy tomatoes, & BBQ sauce (on the side)......this level of burger was totally unexpected! “It's been awhile since I've been in the area. Had to stop out. Layout is the same. The place remains under the same owner as far back as I can remember. Staff is very friendly. The food is delivered quickly, the portions are above average in size, and they even do stuff like serve full pickle spears instead of cheap thin slices. Overall a solid entry into a pretty competitive market (Lake Zurich). I'll be back soon.“

“Savory dishes were delicious, well-seasoned. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly crisp! But dessert dishes like the crepes and pancakes were horrible. Crepes tasted really wet (texture is like an overcooked noodle) and pancakes were flat and tasteless.“

“I've attended and hosted many events at The Quarry over the years. It's a beautiful space where I've made many memories and met new friends. Several years ago I hosted a surprise party for my sister's birthday and the Quarry staff made everything so seamless so all I had to do was show up with the guest of honor. They are so thoughtful and accommodating and really know how to throw a good party! I HIGHLY recommend this venue. I've also been here for drinks after SUP yoga or a nice longe bike ride in the summer. It's so fun to enjoy a nice drink in the sand and the fire pit is such a nice touch. The prices are a little high, but it's to be expected with such a unique venue with tons of free amenities like live music, sand volleyball, and baggo. Totally worth it in my opinion. Also, their themed events are always so much fun with awesome decor, live entertainment, pop-up booths, and delicious themed drinks. My favorites are the Galentines event, the Speakeasy, and the Mother's Day event.“

“Today we were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. It has been a year since we left a review. The dining room is the same and very clean! The person who took our order was really nice and professional as always! I ordered the 1/2 slab of ribs it came with a side salad, a 6" piece of corn on the cob, and fries which I upgraded to the baked potato for $1 more. The baked potato was quartered and a huge potion size so definitely worth the extra $1. The 1/2 slab of ribs had about 7 bones... so you got a decent amount! My husband ordered the Italian beef and added Provolone cheese for 65 cents which was well worth it! I posted a video for each of our food items. We loved our food and would definitely order it again!“

“This has become our favorite place to eat out. The food is so flavorful and different from a regular sandwich shop. Also, we are able to bring our dog with us and get him his own doggy meal. They don’t have the dog meals on the menu but they are available. They really should put a sign on the counter or a wall about them. Everything is served in a dog bowl which fits with the theme of the place. They have a wide variety of foods to choose from. I am currently trying to eat my way through the whole menu! The atmosphere is like a park. Some of the tables have swings to sit on. There is a little “grassy” area with giant Jenga and giant Connect Four games to keep the kids entertained. I love the huge wall mural which shows lots of cute dogs picnicking in a park. The staff is very nice and helpful. My whole family, including the dogs, love eating here!Parking: It is located in an open air mall so there is plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Swing seats available at some tables. Giant games for them to play on the grassy area.“

“Jasmine was a wonderful waitress! Kept our glasses filled. I had the veggie flatbread which was loaded with vegetables. My friend had the open faced salmon sandwich with Caesar salad side and she loved it. Considering it was busy with spring break and the bowling and bocce were full, it was not noisy.“

“We had a girls dinner at Coopers Hawk and all was fantastic - the food, atmosphere and service. Our waitress Paula was amazing and just so sweet attentive. I ordered some appetizers to munch on. The drunken shrimp (came with 5) were good and crisp. the ‘over the border egg rolls’ were the best I have ever had! Two of the three dipping sauces it came with were dynamite! “It's a sports bar with good and we are not into bars or sports...so the atmosphere isn't our preferred space- but the food (especially chicken limone) is fantastic.We prefer the onion rings over the toasted ravioli. Not because the latter is bad, we just prefer the rings. Since we're not bar folks and don't drink alcohol, sometimes it feels like service pays too little attention, but not always. That depends on the night and the server's.“
