“We had a phenomenal brunch at the Warbler.I haven’t had this satisfactory experience at a restaurant in a while- especially with all the price hikes, it always felt like everything is so overpriced to the extent that I did not want to eat out anymore! However the Warbler did it today. Not only the prices were reasonable, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and portions were huge. “Can't express how rad this place is. Been supporting since their "Togo only" days during Covid. Menu is consistent, yet always offering new variations and items based on the season. Drinks are always icy cold/made with care, and the bartenders/staff are some of the best in the industry. “I rarely write reviews but after our meal from Cluckers, I felt I must. Our first time getting food from Cluckers/Wilmette and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The first impression was the very friendly and efficient staff. Lovely to deal with! Then the meal...no fast food flavors here, it tasted more like homemade! “Went to have lunch with my husband we got the meals with sides. Got chicken and waffles and side of tots, he got wings and bulgogi fries and one Thai tapioca tea. Over all it was delish. Food 8.5/10 Sauce 8/10 was flavorful but not spicy we got the Seoul spicy sauce they didn't have the bull sauce. The waffles are kinda small, it's two cut in half and each half was one bite. Ratio of waffles and chicken was not hitting. Service was eh, the nice cashier seemed new and asked us to repeat several times and or didn't know what was in the meal options. It was cold in the restaurant we dined in, hate being cold when eating. Personal preference. Would definitely go back. Wish there was an option to toss the chicken in sauce versus dipping.“

But yet, here I am, writing a review because it greatly deserves it.A colleague and I were in Chicago for convention during the NFC championship game against the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers this past Saturday. I stumbled across Gracie O’ Malley when I did a Google Search for bars in Chicago - San Francisco 49er bar before my trip up to the Windy City.I live in Honolulu Hawaii, and I belong to a large group of 49er fans that meet up at a local bar for a watch party whenever the Niners are playing. So I was looking for the same atmosphere in Chicago for this game. Oh man did I find it!!! Gracie O’Malley‘s was packed with 49er fans, 3 to 4 hours before kickoff. I luckily got there three hours before kickoff, but there was little room to sit anywhere as there was a early game on when we arrived, that’s when Elena the bartender, saw my buddy and I circling the bar a couple of times looking for a seat. She yelled out to us. “Hey guys, you need to see at the bar?” We of course said yes and she said “no problem”. She found two chairs for us, pulled them up to the bar and asked everyone on the bar to move down a little so that we could have a seat as well. She was a God send!!! Then she parked us dead center of the bar right in front of three large screens TVs and we couldn’t be happier.We proceeded to order our drinks and our food. We ordered the Gracie O’Malley burgers, the chicken wings And the barbecue pork nachos. They were all five star delicious and we couldn’t stop talking about just how fantastic the burger was. The O’Malley burger is a ABSOLUTE MUST!!!!Then when the game finally kicked off, Elena made sure that we were very happily satisfied with our food. And our drinks never seem to have gotten empty. As every time we took our last sip, there was a brand new pint of beer waiting for us. We had such a great time with the entire Bar staff that we may or may have not, taken two or three…..or six shots of whiskey and scotch with the bar staff. Maybe I will not admit to anything without the subpoena. Needless to say, we had a fantastic time. Elena was the absolute best, super friendly and just Made us feel so welcomed with her beautiful smile and her Midwestern charm. Everybody that works ant Gracie O Malley are just the best, including Kris and Juju.The experience was so good that we returned three days later to enjoy the burger again and a few more cocktails. We knew we wanted to get it in before our flight back home to Hawaii the very next morning.It’s not common for me to frequent a local bar more than once, while visiting a city, especially one that I’m only in town for, for 4 days of work. But in the four days we went to Grace O’Malley’s twice and we sure wish we could’ve gone a third time.I do know this, though, whenever I’m back in Chicago, without a doubt my go to watering hole to go to and also to be around fellow, San Francisco 49er Faithfuls, My first, second, third and final stop will always be Gracie O’Malley.Also Elena if you’re reading this, Thank you again for such a wonderful fun dining and drinking experience and if you’re in Hawaii remember to reach out and allow us to show you our island home and hospitality like how you showed us.Aloha and A Hui Hou,Chuck & Ron“

“Smitty's ale house is at the location of the old stores, the spirits bar not the strip club. They really did not change much from the outside. The new owners updated the bathrooms, looks like they expanded the kitchen and removed the dj booth. All probably good moves, based off of the history. The aaa staff was nice and engaging. The crowd for a bears Sunday was a lot lighter than the places previously iteration . That may be due to the bears sucking this year though. There was also less staff but enough for the limited crowd. For an ale works they had pretty standard beers on tap. Looked like only one rotating tap out of the 10 on the taps. Not a very deep option for beer needs. I do think any bar named Smitty's should have guineas on tap . I had the steak quesadillas. They were solid bar food. Overall thisplace is worth the stop but needs a bit more to stand out.“

I ordered exactly what was recommended plus some iced lemonade. I then struggled with the food when it came. Whilst I admit that it was delicious, I do struggle with American food that gets so messy when you eat it. Greasy fat and melted cheese as well as the minced beef got everywhere. The dough is crispy on the outside but soft internally, and super tasty. The sauce is out of this world, just the right amount of sweetness to it. The pizza is always out in less than 30 minutes.There is parking in the back on the grand location, and the staff are always super friendly.
