“I had never been here before, but a busy day, forgot my lunch at home, was driving by and saw their drive thru sign. Young man on the speaker had a very nice voice and was very clear spoken and easy to understand. I bought two hotdog meals and a large drink. I struck out on my first couple drink choices as I am not a Pepsi lover, but no worries.The food was prepared fast, the person at the window was courteous and polite and I was in and gone in about 8minutes total time.The hot dogs were great, but the fries?! The fries were FABULOUS!!! Crispy but not brown. Salted perfectly. I usually only eat a couple fries and then take some home for my dog as a treat and then throw the rest away.None went home to the dog and None were thrown away!Thanks for a great fast lunch Lucky Dog Hot Dog!“

“It's a Chicago Westside classic!? Ordering and receiving your food takes literally minutes! And they have plenty of parking! This is very good because the restaurant is situated at a very busy intersection of Grand and Pulaski. My only other slight gripe is that sometimes they tend to over salt the fries a bit, which isn't good if you're trying to lower your cholesterol intake, but it's a seldom issue. Overall, this place is a must try if you're traveling through the West Humboldt Park area and seeking good, cheap eats! Enjoy!“

“I've tried many fancy, trendy, and much more expensive burgers but I still prefer the big baby cheeseburger (with small fries of course). It came out piping hot (drools). While it is two patties, the burger itself is not huge (which I consider to be a good thing) and the portion is very reasonable. My Fire Burger especially was a good full sized burger. And best of all everything was halal.Everyone working here was very polite and accommodating. It's the little extra touches which can make a burger special. Donald's toasts the bun! Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and perfectly salted. I'm eating in the restaurant on a frigid evening and while the dining room is not full, there is a steady stream of customers coming through. “Mostly the food was very good for real but I got a Gladiator burger that did not have everything on it that they said it would on there plus I asked for peppers and they neglected to put that and yet they put the top part of the tomato that has that brown circle where the stem was on it.
