They made a cake for my husband's birthday on fairly short notice that was beautiful, better than expected, and delicious! The cream and fruit filling were fresh and not too sweet but honestly the actual cake itself, even though it was just vanilla, was so light and airy. I've never had cake like this! We ordered beef intestines, NY steak, and pork belly, and soon our table was filled with an impressive spread of yummy banchan. The meats were all high quality, and the aunties grilled everything perfectly - the steak was flavorful, the pork belly crispy, and the beef intestines rich with a fatty textured that mellowed nicely after frying. The whole experience felt genuinely like family, and the quality and value are easily among the best in Chicago.”

“Ho-lee-shit, we had dinner at Pequod's Pizza tonight and I am insanely impressed by the quality of this deep dish. Dough is amazing, cheese is high quality, and all of our ingredients were fresh and fantastic. We had strong drinks, and some nice garlic cheese bread. Pequod's lived up to this foodie's expectations, despite me being a critic about deep dish at times. Just wow, what a meal! I will make sure I come back every single time I return to Chicago. Don't miss out on seeing and tasting this iconic Chicago spot. Also Pete is a great waiter, request him!”

“I like to say “good food makes a soul happy”. When I'm having a tough day, nothing satisfies like good food. I ordered a double smashburger through Uber Eats, and it arrived warm with crispy fries. Everything was packed neatly, which made me excited to dig in. The burger was fantastic!! soft, perfectly seasoned, and the smash sauce was great! Unlike other places that over-salt their burgers, this one was spot on. I’ve found my new go-to spot. The fries were also a good portion. I’ll definitely order from there again, as long as they keep the seasoning consistent bc too much salt can ruin a meal!”

“My all time favorite sushi place! Owners are such incredible people who are working so hard and they have so many regular customers for a reason. If you haven’t tried this spot you really should.

My must haves are mussels and volcano roll but of course I always order another roll accompanied by miso soup. Sometimes if there is space and you want something sweet you should try mango maki.”

“Their chicken is super excellent really light and fluffy. Their menu is exceptionally limited however there’s literally only a handful of things, chicken fingers and chicken sandwich sandwiches, and only one option of a sauce. The sauce is really good, but they should have another option like maybe honey mustard there sauce taste a little bit like thousand island dressing or maybe Russian dressing. The business is exceptionally popular with young people because the business is really good at social media marketing. Also, the business seems to be really good at getting popular sports figures to be in their commercial which does help them a lot. The indoor atmosphere is a little bit quirky, a little bit cool and I like it. Their fries are adequate nothing special to say the least if they could, if I would recommend they improve anything to go further they definitely need to improve their fries but again their check-in to fingers is five stars. I don’t know how many times a year I could eat year because the menu is so very very limited.”
