“I ordered the Pad Thai and it was absolutely incredible! The Pad Thai had the perfect balance of flavors—savory, slightly sweet, and just the right touch of tang. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and every bite was packed with freshness. Everything tasted homemade with so much care put into it.

The portions were generous, the food was delivered hot, and it was honestly some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon! Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic and delicious Pad Thai.“

“Smile Thai is just fantastic. Sarah provides the BEST service. She makes a point to ask about the most thoughtful details (water with ice or no ice?) and has an amazing memory. If she doesn’t remember your name the next time you visit, she will remember what you ordered. We are vegan and have food allergies, and keep coming back because of the service - though the food is also outstanding. The egg rolls are fresh and crispy - rolled in store not frozen. The tofu has a wonderful texture. Panang noodles are my favorite. This is my favorite restaurant in Palatine.“

I ordered the Red Curry Chicken for takeout and it was outstanding. The curry had a rich, creamy coconut base with just the right kick of heat, and the chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice crunch, and the portion size was generous enough for leftovers. Even after the drive home, the food stayed hot and flavorful. I’ll definitely be ordering this again! and most of it it’s Halal. Will def be back. Tysm!“

“A husband and wife duo cranking out delicious Thai food — we’ve been going here for years and absolutely love it. If there is ever a seasonal dessert, don’t skip it! The coconut cake is our favorite, but the keylime and pumpkin pie with sweet sticky rice are equally delicious. Highly recommend — come out and support a local business!“

“Excellent Thai food. We had the Moo Ping as an appetizer. The pork was so tender and the sauce was delightfully sweet. We had the Drunken Noodles with chicken and Holy Chili with chicken. Both were delicious and the portions were just right. We dined in and there were sadly only a few tables for a Saturday night but it seemed like a lot of take out orders. The service was fast. We will definitely dine in or take out from here again.“

The food portion was good and tastes really good!! I wanted more! The parang curry was fantastic, along with crispy rice noodles! One of the best Thai food places in the area with staff that is really friendly complete with a cozy dine in area with BYOB option for a fun night out with friends or family. I am a long time native of the area and have seen restaurants come and go and I have to say I am so pleased that Nan and her family's restaurant is a mainstay . It is important to support local business and I am proud to give a shout out to one of my favorite places to eat in the area. The green curry is one of my favorite. They also have a great selection of rolls as well. Great lunch menu options and a staff that remembers your regular order and greets you with a smile every time.“
