“We went here yesterday after the sports card convention at ISU with no idea what to expect, we just all agreed that we wanted a good, local pizza that we could not get back home. All of us on the trip agreed that this place was OFF THE CHARTS EXCELLENT FOOD. The atmosphere of the restaurant was kind, friendly, prompt, well-cleaned, and cosy. While I may get this wrong, the pizza to me was like a premium quality, perhaps modified blend of an artisinal with ultra fresh, ultra high-quality ingredients with everything someone would love about a Detroit style. I am a "pizza guy" and I am talking like top 5 lifetime pizza places for me. Definitely my favorite new pie that I have tried out over the last several years!😀 I will have to find a convenient excuse to get back to the area from 3 hours away soon just so I can visit again! Thanks for a great meal and outstanding service!”

“Enjoyed our experience overall, nice location, beautiful day to sit outside and great selection of drinks. However both my burger and my husband's were over done. I didn't mind a well done burger, but one side of my husband's was black. Same with his bun. It's wasn't overly busy at the time. We went at lunch time on a Thursday. Plenty of seating open. We ordered up at the bar and sat outside. Fries were well seasoned.”

“We visited on a busy Saturday night. The hostess forgot to add our name to the list and the kitchen was backed up so we waited almost 45 minutes for our meal. Our server, Boston, went above and beyond to compensate for the otherwise poor experience. He had exceptional customer service and made our visit a positive experience.”

“The absolute best smoothie spot in the Blono area! I highly recommend that you try my favorite, the kiwi strawberry, add blueberries with a kick of fat burner. You won't be disappointed! Have you ever tried their breakfast menu items?!? I also highly recommend their Cali breakfast flatbread!! Great, friendly customer service with a smile everytime we come here! We love TSC and their staff are amazing!”

“I was craving a chocolate chip cookie and when I say crumbl did not miss, they did not miss. The edges were crispy, the middle was ooey gooey and there was more than enough chocolate chips. Topped off with a tall glass of milk, it was perfect! I called myself trying to save some for later, but if you look at my pic you’ll quickly realize that didn’t happen. Lol…”

“My grandson said he wanted to try this, so we did. I ordered on line. Nothing all that special, your basic on line ordering experience. Pick-up at drive through window went very well. No long wait. The girl at the window was very pleasant. We got the food back home, actually my grandson was hungry and anxious to try his. He got the chicken slider and fries. The chicken ordered medium hot. He love the sandwich, loved the Dave's sauce. Called it the best sauce he's ever had. I tasted it. Heavily Thousand Island dressing base. It was good, much better than RC's. My grandson loved his fries as well. He got extra ranch for fry dipping. I got the four mini sliders with the kale coleslaw. I opted for the Hot sandwiches, I would have gone extra hot, but that's not an option. They also have a Reaper hot. Maybe when I was younger, but the older I get, the less appeal super hot food has. They also have reaper fries, maybe one day I'll try those. Anyway, the kale slaw was delicious. Just the right amount of whatever tasty dressing they use. I got an extra little thing of reaper ranch, which on it's own, it's got a good bite to it, anyway I put what I had left from my container of reaper ranch in the kaleslaw and it was fantastic. My grandson says Dave's gets an 11 out of ten. I'll stick to the 10/10. Highly recommended. The prices are extremely reasonable, less than $30 for the both of us and you get a great deal of food for a very reasonable price.”

“Today was our first time here. The food was delicious. The Brioche french toast has the best flavor. Coffee was hot and the waitress didn't flinch when I mentioned I liked a lot of cream for my coffee. Best little secret in the BloNo area! Thanks Bloomin' Cafe!! We will be back!”

“Love this location! Was in town for cheer and stopped by because it was near where we were staying. After meeting the barista I decided to make this my everyday stop! On my last visit Morgan (the manager I believe) and her barista Andrew were the sweetest crew. Making my drinks to perfection with giggles and laughter. It really makes me joyful to see workers who love working together. Really getting the job done and such a clean store. Will be going back again.”

“Firehouse is one of my favorite bars /restaurants ever and one of my favorite workers there is Eden, an amazing bartender her drinks are always on point and she always picks out the best music to jam too and yeah, the place is a 10 out of 10. It’s a cute local bar.”

“I prefer this location as it is closer to my home. The staff are always on point. Very friendly, fast and efficient considering it's in the heart of ISU. Parking is a challenge so I need to time my visits to avoid the lunch hour rush. Other than that, it's a great place!!”

“Great stay here coming into town for a little work get together with my boyfriend! Loved the decor inside and how they have everything set up. Very lovely atmosphere. Greeted at the front desk promptly by Adrianna, who was super sweet and friendly. She helped to check us in, and even humored our request to upgrade our two Queen beds to a single King, as well as a room with a balcony! Which was absolutely amazing! Made our stay 10x better. Event went great, we were back at the hotel for a wonderful stay, and in the morning we had an even better experience! We woke up early to indulge in the variety of breakfast and drink choices, and the welcoming company of Barb, Margo and Sandra! These ladies are all wonderful at what they do. Barb went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and connected with us on a meaningful level that left us feeling incredibly blessed! We are so glad to have met her and had a beautiful stay. The chef(s) and wait staff did excellent! The only minor inconveniences we had were that the lids were not properly fitting the coffee cups, and for the life of us we could not find the invisible vending machine, so I guess it’s doing its job. :P Thank you! Can’t wait to come back for a little out of town stay sometime!”

“Timbers is an exquisite restaurant that serves good food to students. Their milkshakes, especially the seasonal ones like caramel apple are great. The BBQ burger and chicken tenders are the best!”

“Time and time again Moes southwest grill proves to be one of my go to spots for lunch, dinner, and even a late breakfast! First of all let me mention the employees. Every single one of them is so kind and caring even during a busy rush environment. In my last visit, Jazz and Peyton helped me out with ease. The food quality is always amazing and to die for. And the place is so clean! Even late at night after a busy day, the staff manages to keep the floor spotless and the tables very clean. Thank you Moes! I will be back!”

“My son loves to get Cane's on baseball days. He gets his chicken naked, puts it on the toast with his slaw and chows down. It was a hot day and he wanted something filling but light before his next game. Parking lot was a little tricky getting in to. He really liked his food and the dual drive thru line moved quickly.”

“I went to ISU in the 1970's, and Avanti's was always a favorite part of our years on campus. Fifty+ years later, it's always a treat to visit this restaurant and consume their delicious food. Walking into Avanti's is like going back in time to my college days with my friends! Love this place!”

“China Star in Normal, IL continues to outdo themselves. We recently ordered nine lunch specials for pickup for our team at Childers Door, and everything was outstanding.

The food was fast, VERY hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The serving sizes were generous, making it a great value for both office lunches and meals at home. Even with a larger order, everything was prepared accurately and ready on time.
