“Came here for a private party event on a Sunday afternoon. Space is really nice and chair, tables and other seats were nice. They played good music and had two large t.v.s playing different games for people at the bar. The drinks were well made, but with so many people, they definitely needed more than just two people. But it was nice to have a small sitting area outside in the back as well.“

“We were warmly greeted by Chelsea when we arrived. We were seated at a cozy table toward the back of the restaurant. Frank Sinatra music was playing in the background. Our waitress Melissa brought us water to the table with the days specials. There is a good wine & cocktail selection. We started with the shrimp & calamari along with truffle fries for an appetizer. The shrimp & calamari were cooked perfectly while seasoned with the right amount of oil and garlic. The truffle fries garlic aoli sauce was very good, not overpowering. For dinner, we had chicken parmesan served with penne pasta as the side. The portion size was big. The chicken was cooked well, not overloaded with sauce and the right amount of cheese. The other dish order was the risotto of the day, shrimp & grape tomato. Highly recommend the risotto. It was cooked perfectly with big delicious shrimp mixed in with the risotto. As delicious as it was, room was being saved for dessert. Not many restaurants serve flourless chocolate cake, but Frankie's 1988 does. It is served with a carmel sauce, pecans, and vanilla gelato. I have had many flourless chocolate cakes in my life, and none compare to the one made at Frankie's. It is dense, almost like dark chocolate fudge that just melts in your mouth. They also have canolis, tirimisu, and an assortment of gelato. The staff was so nice, checking on us throughout our dinner, ensuring we were never out of water. Frankie introduced himself to us as we were leaving. We had to tell him how amazing the risotto was today. Frankie said that their kitchen is a scratch kitchen and will gladly make items not on the menu if the kitchen has the ingredients. Frankie's 1988 is a 5 Star restaurant nestled in a strip mall in Tinley Park.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten-free and vegetarian options are available.“

“We tried La Cocina de Mama and we will definitely return. The food was exceptional- so fresh, plentiful, and delicious! The service was very pleasant and attentive. We weren't seated right away, but didn't realize to step further in, so not to be confused with the take-out customers. Maybe a sign would be helpful.“

“Oh my gosh!! This is the most amazing place ever. We had fantastic service, fantastic food and such a wonderful time. The food just goes beyond words. I can’t even describe how delicious it is. If you want to have an incredible dining experience, you need to stop in. Our waiter was Don and he did an absolutely perfect job. The hostess greeted us immediately with a pleasant smile and a very polite and professional attitude. Our waiter Don was Very attentive to our needs and very knowledgeable about the specials and everything on the menu. I can’t say enough about our experience. What a reward. “I had the Mexican Alfredo pasta and the birrira tacos. I didn't add chicken or steak to the pasta so it was just ok but those tacos??????? ??????. I liked the location too I would say the portions are smaller than what I'm used to.“

“I met friends around 4p.m. on a beautiful sunny Saturday. Sitting outside was wonderful! Indoor there is still a great atmosphere with couches and TVs. I only ordered a lemon soup and Caramel Macchiato, both were delicious. Definitely will return, it had been so long since I'd been there. I forgot what a great place it is!!!“

“The only reason I’m leaving a 4 is because of the ladies restroom. Plenty of soap, no paper towel, and the air dryer was not up to par. There’s a slip and fall risk because of where the sink is in relation to where the hand dryer is. Lots of water on the floor, and the floor is slick. Otherwise, the food was great, and our server was amazing, I think her name was Tiffany. Great menu suggestions and very personable! I’ll definitely be back!“

“1st time here, and it was so cute on the inside and the food...I got a burger, and it was really delicious. I'm a big burger person, and I really enjoyed it. I try to avoid fries in general, but these were so good I couldn't help myself. I would absolutely go back and get the same thing, and I'm sure everything is amazing here, but that burger was really so delicious. Great atmosphere, everyone seems really nice. Great gaming section as well. Play and eat!“

“Hey what's up guys thank you for checking out my new review so let's get right into it my team and I were lucky for a while to chill have a few laughs talk s*** you know the regular the first place we went to close early so remember in Chatham call City Life restaurant lounge understand it's been years since I've been here but the last time I went I had a great time now with my team and I got there it must have been a birthday party and the older hostess didn't even acknowledge my team and I she looked at us as if we we're foreign or from another planet it took almost 45 minutes for her to even acknowledge that we were in need of service I was going to buy the first round of drinks for my team I almost left and then we'll be right knowledge her attitude really wasn't pleasant I get that one all the servers were working online register and I work in this industry of training bartenders and I've been on the other side as the server before so I will more than understanding that's why I didn't leave so another lady came in to assist us she got everyones order right except mine the lady apologize I still tipped her I believe in tipping for good service the thing I really noticed was her attitude was very Pleasant being a third server came in and she was phenomenal towards me and my team for the rest of the night I can't really give a review on the food we didn't have any food over there but the atmosphere and the service was good I give it a 4.5 like I said the only thing I didn't like is the first service attitude that really could have pushed me away if I didn't understand the business which was still no excuse for the way that she went about handling my team and I but no harm no fowl I still enjoy the rest of the night I would definitely be back hopefully they have the second register I'll be running so people can be attended to quickly and smoothly“
