“Cool and very tasty beer“
“We booked a brewery tour and Johnny was our guide. Me and my family had a wonderful experience, Johnny was knowledgeable, personable & hilarious. This tour blew my expectations out of the water. Very much worth your time and money. I have a lot of respect after learning about one of Chicago’s greatest breweries. Would book again!!“

“Great food and love the booth“
“Bartender was very professional and kind. Seating very comfortable. There’s a good din in here, comfortable noise level where seats will be filled but you can hear conversations around your table clear as a bell. Very clean. Cozy. Great canned seltzer.“
“This has quickly become our favorite neighborhood business. Staff is super friendly, beer is great! Dog and kid friendly. If you haven’t been, get yourself there.“
“Great beers Great atmosphere. Friendly staff!!“
“Cozy brewery & distillery nestled in a neighborhood and against the train tracks & highway.Great selection of unique beers and cocktails made from in house spirits. Some of the beers you can find in stores, others are unique to the location. They do still do scheduled beer releases you may only be able to get on location. You can bring in food, but there's also a selection of pizza that is pretty good.Only gripe would be that it was a bit difficult to find, if you hug the road that goes against the tracks its very narrow and basically an alley. Part of the charm though, makes the place feel like it's hidden.“
“Beautiful interior, great bar and impressive wooden harp. Nice selection of food. It's a bit unclear which beer is local and which isn't. The Guinness is tasty but still a bit overpriced. The CHICAGO DIP sandwich was absolutely top class. Very very tasty. The service was nice but a bit too pushy. It wasn't that crowded there, so it was more of a mixed, semi-good experience.“
“The ambiance, friendly atmosphere, quirky and yet comfortable vibe as well as absolutely exceptional beers. From porters, sours and mixed drinks… sets the standard of what kind of brewery I want to be at.“
“Great vibe! Happened upon it while in Chicago - highly recommend!“
“If you love hazy ipa's this place is a must. I've been drinking their beers for a handful of years and I couldn't wait for them to open a taproom. If you know anything about Hop Butcher, you know they're constantly making new beers. It's nicely designed, prices are reasonable and they have a store to purchase their beers on the other side. Definitely worth a visit. Great service with a pretty laidback vibe.“

“The pretzel was very good! Light and fluffy on the inside. The brisket taccos were pretty good they have a decent kick of spice to them. Beer is good, staff is friendly. A 1 star deduction for getting my fiancé her flight but then forgetting my pint, and no napkins or silverware when the food was brought out. (This is a bit arguable as we were at the bar.)“
“Such an amazing place. Not only did we have our wedding reception here, but LOVE THIS PLACE“

“Okay, apart from the incredible beers and the fact that the sun shines in most of the day, Spiteful Brewing has the best bathroom in Chicago. 10/10 immaculate, cleanliness top notch, nice marmalade smell and quick dispensing paper towel machine. Epic. Would crawl in a deep hole in this bathroom to emerge like a phoenix through the ashes“
“We accidentally came on a release night, and got to sample some of the new stuff! It was great and ended up buying a pack to take home. While it was very busy, we still found standing room around the edge. The atmosphere was great, beer was delicious and crowd chill. It lived up to our expectations in every way.“
“I have enjoyed beer from Alarmist Brewing in the past, but on a recent sunny Saturday afternoon my love and I decided to finally visit Alarmist Brewing and Taproom. It is situated in Sauganash on Peterson, just about two blocks west of the Pulaski bus terminus. There is a free parking lot in case you are driving here. They have an outdoor patio, but we gladly grabbed seats in the taproom that faced out the "front window" for great people and dog watching. The menu lists two different flights, and we went with the Hoppy Flight with six 4-ounce pours. They don't serve food, but the staff was fine with us bringing in some sandwiches and chips to eat.“
“Found a spot that's perfect for remote work! I love the laid back, artsy, and friendly cafe vibe of this nano-brewery! I came by on a weekday afternoon with my laptop and ordered a matcha latte. I was a little worried I had missed coffee service because it was just past 2pm, but the barista was friendly and accommodating and made the perfect cup of matcha! The space itself is perfect for working because it has ample table space, comfortable chairs, and several outlets to plug in your laptop. My favorite part is that it stays open late until 11pm (as opposed to most cafes that close around 3pm-6pm). This means I don't have to rush to finish my work, and I can switch from coffee to beer without having to move locations! Between 4-7pm they have a happy hour deal for draft beers. Once I closed my laptop around 5pm, my friend came to join me and we ordered some beers, and grabbed a card game from their collection. They have a variety of board and card games that you can borrow while you drink and hang out. We played Sushi Go, which was straight forward and easy to learn and easy to chat while playing. I drank the Mystic pale ale, which I really enjoyed! I love that they have a variety of snacks available! And a staff member mentioned that we could bring in food if we would like. There's a lot of good food options in the area. What a relaxed spot to hang out, do some work, and drink some delicious craft beer! Will be back soon :)“
“Recently went here for the first time. I particularly enjoyed the Coffee Blossom and Oaxacan Forest Wildflower traditional meads but there were a wide variety of flavored meads too, all of which were great. The owner was more than happy to tell us the story of the business and answer all of our questions about the process, ingredients, etc. I'm looking forward to going again in the future!“
“Nice, very tiny place. Good beer. Seating is not the most comfortable, lots of backless bar stools and small tables. Within the location is a business where they press cremated ashes into diamonds. Fine. But then brewery stuff is stored in the dead people processing partitioned space. I don't get it.“
“Yummy beer, welcoming atmosphere!“
“Went for the Saturday brewery tour. Tour was fantastic and the guide spent quite a bit of time detailing how their brewing adheres to more tradition Bavarian methods vs American style brewing. Honestly I think their stuff tastes as good or better than the beers you find in Germany. They are all really well balanced and display a high level of craftsmanship.“
“I recently discovered this place about a month ago, I love that they offer a variety of brews as many times you'll find that a brewery will focus on or put an emphasis on one particular style, but here there is just about something for everyone. The inside is very spacious with a large bar seating area as well as many tables. Regarding food options, I haven't tried anything yet, but I know that they have paired with the restaurant next door and the menu options look great. I love a good porter so my new favorite beer so far has to be the Dirt Mouth Porter, it's amazing. I look forward to becoming a regular“

“This place is excellent! Their goat cheese appetizer is simple but so tasty. The pizza is absolutely amazing. The crust is good and crispy and holds the toppings well and the cheese and sauce are also very good. Can't recommend this place enough! The service was already really nice and they have a great selection of drinks. Definitely would go back and make this a go to place“
“I wished I lived near here! Located in Malt Row, a cute little neighborhood in Ravenswood, this location was packed for Bingo on a Sunday. Meter parking was free (bonus). I had the Irish Nitro and she had the cherry sour. The food truck outside provided us a breakfast burrito which we shared. Inside was lovely, outside was lovely, pooch dog friendly, I imagine this place is slammed in 'good weather' months. Pints were a $1 off. Come, be with your people.“
“They've got something for everybody, for every palette. Lately, my favorite brewery.“
“Great drinking and eating space.“
“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Kalee's service, and I was incredibly impressed!Kalee was friendly, professional and , attentive .Kalee knowledge about micro beer ? was particularly helpful.Overall, Kalee's service was exceptional. She made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.“
“Great time here at this Brewery. I had the K-drama chicken, big pieces, and a super soft cornbread included. Amazing beer selection also. There was a book & record vendor event near their production space. Super cool as its surrounded by barrels on racks.“
“Very cute spot for the beer drinker and non beer drinker alike! I truly enjoyed myself. The tour was insightful and the brews were tasty. I'm not much of a beer drinker yet I was pleasantly surprised that I actually enjoyed the offerings. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back to check out their seasonal offerings.“

“My review is long overdue. I've been to Orkenoy many times since I live in the neighborhood. They always have a great food special like Wednesday oysters and fish fry's. I love their small bites. It's a great space to bring a hang with a friend or do a date night over some cocktails. Bartenders are always welcoming and knowledgeable about the beers on draft.“

“okay, so we’ve been to Ørkenoy several times before and we always enjoy it. the food has a unique twist (Nordic modern) relative to Chicago’s culinary scene but it’s very accessible, a good value, and the drinks are solid. it’s usually just us, but this day we were a party of 8, including 4 children, which is kinda daunting for most restaurants. our server was totally great, friendly, and informative, and really welcomed the 5 folks who’d never dined at Ørkenoy before. the burgers were delicious, the kids loved the meatballs with lingonberry sauce, the pickled eggs were a hit, plus we adults all enjoyed our cocktails. one cool thing about the space is there’s a claw machine and freethrow hoops at the other end of the Kimball Arts Center, so the kids (with adult supervision) were able to divert their energies while the kitchen prepared everyone’s meals. i am uniformly amazed when i talk to chicagoans who have yet to dine at Ørkenoy, as it’s obviously very much worth checking out!Parking: Plenty of free parking options.Kid-friendliness: We brought 4 kids to lunch and nobody batted an eyelash. The kids were down to try everything and generally had a great time! Plenty to explore!“
“Local Brewery with super friendly vibes. Tasty beers with wide selection of styles. Brown, Red, Hazy, Westy, etc.. Buckle has some good food options or bring your own. Mixed drinks available too. No pets, no smoking. Atmosphere is dark, relaxing and cozy. Beer fridge has cans to go, or fill your growler. Pacman and Mando pinball game. Merch is pretty nice too. Clean bathrooms and small outdoor area. Joe was a gracious host and very informative about the tasty beers. Park across street if full. Great service made it 5 stars.“
“Steins were great but are only available with the Brewery's own brews.“
“Came here late afternoon by myself while on a work trip. I got two flights and they really exceeded my expectations. With a flight I always expect to not care for at least one beer as much, but I really enjoyed each one I got. As someone who primarily sticks to fruit forward IPA’s or pale ales, the coffee/vanilla porter was amazing!“
“I haven't been here but I have tried many of there beers, and damn I must say with most breweries there's only maybe 1-2 beers that i think are a hit, but every single beer I have had so far from Pipeworks is good as hell. Lizard king, pineapple fish, haze and mirrors, the sour, I think I had one more, magnificent! 10/10“

“Stop in, you'll likely meet Paul or Keith behind the bar. Both serve and brew the beer you'll be drinking.Kinslager is a great room to stop in and have a beer or two. I usually bring some home, and growlers are a sealed 24? ounce sealed can!Kinslager consistently cares about the community that they curate in their little piece of the world. This makes for an amazing eclectic crowd - it's likely that more archaic knowledge passes through that tap room than the British Royal Society annual meetings in the 17th century.“
