“BMBC is a great neighborhood-y restaurant. It’s comfy, the decor feels very homey, and every time I go there, everyone is smiling. They have waiting areas in and outdoors which is so great. I’ve been to many restaurants that don’t have waiting areas at all and it can be awkward. The service is always outstanding. my husband and I have been lucky enough to have Jenrry as our server a couple of times and he’s always very polite and quick, always making sure we have what we need and answering our questions (I had questions about their gigantic juicer, lol). Last but certainly not least, THE FOOD! I’ve tried many things, never had a bad meal here, but always come back to the french omelette. The drinks are also always amazing (the coffee is always great). I usually bring out of town friends here and they always love it. See you soon, BMBC!“

“Came here on my lunch break and I enjoyed everything! Surprisingly it was not too busy for a Saturday late morning so I was seated immediately. Both the host and waiter were very kind and attentive. Although I was on phone, there was some nice music playing in the background and dining area was very neat and clean. Lots of windows allowed plenty of natural sunlight as well. I'm looking forward to coming again to try the chilaquiles or sandwiches. I had the waffle combo which hit the spot and the waffle was perfectly crisp but fluffy inside.“

“Very good brunch food. The skirt steak skillet is one of the best in the area. Highly recommend it. Their omelets are dense, soft and very well done. They are less fluffy than most and they hold their shape. Pancakes are a strong 8 of 10. Read my reviews and see that I visit tons of breakfast restaurants. Service was kind of below average. Could be we had an inexperienced waitress - who knows? Overall Angel’s Pancake Cafe is a good choice.“

The waiter was super nice and friendly and checked on us a few times to see if we needed anything. The ambiance was great, the food was fresh and a lot of it. I took my leftovers home. “Always a great experience here. It can get crowded on the weekends but I never have waited a long time to sit or for service. The food is very good! They have a lot of different options including fun shakes! My favorite is the southwest omelet! I loved it as a skillet and tried is as an omelet and fell in love! They have lots of fun pancake options as well. Good meal options with lots to offer making it not that expensive!“

“So right off the bat, if you like ham in plentiful supply, this is your spot. Pretty busy suburban joint, good for a variety of breakfast items. What I would recommend is anything with ham. I don't know if they have a pig farm in the back but these guys load your plate with ham to the point that white flags come out and pants get unzipped. I had the omelette (with ham, obviously). It was tasty - but the egg ratio to ham was too little. Next time I will, and would recommend the skillet with scrambled eggs. The omelette was super thin, where is the scrambled eggs that my friend had seem more proportional dish . Service was OK, not great. Coffee was not bad, also not great. Fresh squeezed orange juice is lights out though, so I would definitely recommend that. I will definitely go back, just a little bit wiser this time .“

“Whenever I'm in Chicago I search for hidden gem foodie spots. I mean Chicago is literally foodie Heaven. We didn't dine in because we were trying to prepare for an event but I'm kind of glad we didn't. It's small and dark inside, and I felt like the tables were too close together. But they made up for it all with an AMAZING breakfast. I got the gyro skillet. Absolutely delicious!! The picture does it absolutely no justice.. I never thought of gyro as a breakfast item and now I know I need it often. There were huge portions of meat and amazing tzatziki sauce and nobody will ever call them stingy with the cheese because for every bite I got delicious feta cheese chunks mixed in. It was amazing. The pancakes were basic, there was nothing wrong with them but I'm not going to reminisce on them. But that gyro skillet!!! I can't wait to get it again“

It's served cut so you can enjoy it as a sandwich.And I saved room for a generous serving of flan that was amazing. “Visited on a weekday, so business was slow. Food was good, as usual. (Hence, 4 stars!) I had a frittata, and my husband had the crepes with cherries. Server could have been more attentive to her one table, us. This place has been here for a long time, and we have visited it often. It looks tired now. Needs some "sprucing up."
