“Hands down one of the most delicious meals my husband and I have had. I had the Chicken Marsala, which our server recommended, and my husband had the meatloaf. Both dishes were incredible! Then we shared the Irish cream cheesecake for dessert, and it was to die for. Service and atmosphere were great, too. The next time we visit Peoria, we'll be back for another meal!”

“Stone jug catered my wedding this past weekend and the food was absolutely perfect! My guests raved about it the entire night. We ordered the brisket, mac & cheese, beans, and potato salad. The price was also very fair per person. Please, if you’re getting married in the area, check out their catering it’s 100% worth it !!”

“Had dinner here 2 nights in a row due to work. Food was really good. The wings were excellent! Some of the best I've ever had. The Ruben was good. Just know that they chop the meat, then toss it in the sauce. So the texture is different from a typical sliced beef ruben. But the flavors are there. Fries are crispy. Excellent beer prices. Service is fast and friendly. Atmosphere is nice. Its a typical sports/outdoorsman type bar with alot of animal and fish mounts on the walls. Plenty of TVs for watching your sporting event of choice. Large wrap around bar and a center fire place adds a cool touch. Bathrooms are clean and well lit. I'd definitely stop here again for lunch or dinner.”

The food was out of this world and the drink selection was just as epic.You can't go wrong with the classic sports decor which makes this a great place to watch any game. “Dont know what happened tonight. Ordered an old drink thats not on the menu but ive always got it, even thru last month. Ordered another drink and waited over 30 min. Sent mushrooms back because they were burnt, literally stuck to the dish. Heard kitchen staff holler "for real" lol. Ended up walking out after 40 minutes still no drinks. Biscuits finally came out after 25min. Manager and kitchen staff need some retraining. She didnt even come talk to us. Normally great. idk what they were doin tonight. BTW there was maybe 3 other tables. Hopefully management and kitchen staff get it together.”

“Best place we stayed between Chicago and Grafton, IL! We were stuck at Starved Rock lock for around 5 hours. We didn't get through until after dark (9:30-ish). I called and amazingly enough a guy named Chuck answered the phone! He said our boat was a little big for anything they had available but he could put us at their fuel dock for the night. He waited until we got there around 11pm, helped us get tied up then invited us to the bar for drinks and even opened the kitchen and made us supper! Seriously the best place we stayed. Fun, clean, not pretentious, extremely accommodating, and super reasonable prices! Thank you South Shore Boat Club - and Chuck - for your help and amazing hospitality!!”

“I stopped in there for the first time yesterday. Starbucks has always been my go to for coffee. I ordered my normal, a mocha. It was made quickly, the staff was very nice and friendly, and the mocha one of the best I’ve ever had! This will be my new coffee place when I am in Peru!”

“I had breakfast there staff greeted me with good morning I had 3 eggs 4 sausage patties hash browns and wheat toast and coffee it was 15. Well worth the price dining area was clean. They are also offering 3 meals due to snap crisis”

Our car broke down in the parking lot and they were more than accommodating, even to the point of offering assistance to help us get back on the road. 10/5 stars!!!! The drive thru was so packed as well as the parking lot I foolishly decided to turn around in, I nearly had no choice but to park and enjoy a triple shot espresso venti probably some vanilla and caramel and more espresso coffee drink. Alas, I played chicken with a rambunctious car full of younger ladies surely looking to get their mocha joka venti caffeine fix on.... Not to be deterred... I won the footloose challenge and continued on to the Mental health facility down the road...”

I'm not going to focus on the negative but on the positive at 8:15 last night the manager called me and apologized due to what happened and offered me a free sandwich. Thank you for caring about your customers. And making it right. I would recommend Subway in Peru and LaSalle because of the integrity of the management. Thanks again and have a great night.bye”

“This specific restaurant has stellar customer service. The manager of this establishment, a Ms. Victoria, went the extra mile to provide this consumer a satisfying experience. A welcoming attitude, good atmosphere, and very polite. Another Jersey Mike establishment in Bloomington, IL had failed to deliver a sandwich, even after receiving payment. But the manager at this location offered and proceeded to kindly replace the sandwich after hearing of this unfortunate incident, making up for the other locations' failure to deliver. This Peru location had no obligation to make up for another establishments' shortcoming, but these wonderful employees did. And that is going above and beyond. High praise and 10/10 stars. Knowing customer satisfaction is prioritized at this Peru, Illinois establishment, I endeavor to make it a place I frequent for a tasty and reliable sub.”

“Everything about this place was outstanding! The pizza my granddaughter and I got was a large pan half meat lovers half pepperoni. And it was absolutely incredibly outstanding! Our two waitresses were off the charts amazing! I hadn't been here in over 30 years. But I remember how good the pizza was. So my granddaughter and I didn't hesitate to go here after spending the day at the Grand Bear Lodge indoor water park. What an amazing day we both had! We're going to have to do that trip again very soon!!! It's about 70 minutes from where we live. But well worth the drive!”
