“Scooters is the spot for custard in Chicago! They have such a great mix of pure custard, concretes and sundaes that you could visit here endlessly. I particularly love anything with peanut butter and chocolate and my wife always goes for a chocolate strawberry mix. The neighborhood is quaint and the service is always excellent - even on those crazy hot summer days. Choose local and definitely choose Scooter's!“

“The decor was super cute! The service was very friendly and welcoming. They had many tables of two. The matcha latte was good, and I loved their bakery items. If you can't find a seat in here, there's public seating available outside. Great place for the summer. “This was my first visit and I was a little overwhelmed. I came for a slice for lunch and was amazed by all the options. Fresh pasta, chicken parm, sandwiches, calzones and so much more all ready to go. I ordered my pizza and there was a cannoli in front of me in the case so I had to get that. While I was waiting for my pizza to be warmed up I admired the Gelato selection and ended up adding on a half pint of key lime pie Gelato. The slice, cannoli and Gelato came to $15. All of the food was amazingly delicious. I'll definitely go back soon to try more.“

“Logan Vegan easily has the best vegan Ice Cream I've ever had, and the owner John makes it himself which I find even cooler.It's coconut based, but doesn't taste coconutty at all. The taste and texture is just like normal ice cream. I'm lactose intolerant and used to just take a bunch of lactaids when I go to Jeni's ice cream but now I just go to Logan Vegan and I'm good - haven't been back to Jeni's in months. My personal favorites are the mint chip and cookies & cream.“

“I was shocked at how good these popsicles infused with rare flavors were! Like WTF shocked! How'd they get that flavor in a popsicle?! I wondered. I had the peanut butter and potato chips lol. Sounds like a flavor the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would make up and trademark! It was TBE popsicle. I also had the caramel horchata and it was a 7 outta 10. They do need better seating though rather than their kiddie land setup lol“

“Great historic ice cream and candy shop in Chicago. We came at a busy time and had to wait awhile for service. We had the classic Turtle sundae and it was good. “Awesome little spot! My family and I stumbled over it just because it was a local spot which was just walking distance from where we live. Even though Ice cream can pretty much sell itself, this spot's customer service was on point. The lady helping us behind the counter was nice and helpful. Another guy came from around back to greet us and handed all 4 of my kids gum off the display rack. We all got ice cream or milkshakes, while I was waiting I noticed they had little Hispanic street food menu. I ended up ordering some "Elote" with Flaming Hot Cheetos. “Miko’s is a favorite local spot for my family to get Italian ice. They have traditional flavors as well as exotic ones. My son kids love the horchata and banana chip. I’m a sucker for a good coconut and watermelon. They have a walk-up window, ordering is easy and they accept credit card and Apple Pay. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!“

“I've never had a bad experience here at Crumbl Cookies!Since moving to the area a few months ago, this has been our go-to Crumbl Cookies spot. We get it probably once a month - yikes! Every time here, though, has been the opposite of yikes - the staff is friendly, the cookies are fresh, it's never busy, always clean, and there's ample parking outside. At my old Crumbl Cookies location in Schaumburg, it was always a tight squeeze and hustle-and-bustle situation inside the store and in the parking lot because it was so busy. This location is bigger with more parking, but it's never busy which I like. Let's be real, Crumbl Cookies are freaking good. There's 4 rotating flavors every single week and 2 constant flavors (chocolate chip & sugar). I always love the chocolate chip and will get it in replacement of one of the rotating cookies when I get a 4-pack. In my opinion the warm cookies are always better than the chilled, but some of the chilled ones are great, too. They also sometimes include a mystery cookie which yes, is a mystery when you get it. I love that they do that, I think it's a fun concept especially if you really don't know which other cookie to get or want to try something new.There's TONS of flavors in general at Crumbl, I can't even select my favorite one. When they have these flavors, I do really enjoy their cinnamon swirl cookie, s'mores, cinnamon fry bread, dulce de leche, Biscoff lava, chocolate cake, buckeye brownie, and basically any flavor that has cinnamon or caramel in it, or that's super chocolatey and gooey. You already know I'll be coming to this location again!“

“I have been going to this place since it opened and i had always only gotten the nachos extra cheese and peppers because they reminded me of my childhood. But then i tried the ice cream it is the best. Look the owner she is the best and the most sweetest person in the world. And i am so happy for her that she expanded the shop. “Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“

I loved them so good I had to order a box the next day for my coworkers. Although, some of the flavors were different as they offer different flavor daily, they were still yummy. My co-workers were just as pleased as I was. Parking in Wicker Park to get to the cookies was a challenge but I managed. A lil bit pricey but worth the treat every now and then.“
