“I have been ordering from this store for over 2 years and have never gotten a bad pizza from this store. I have no problem driving past the dominos thats next to my house, and driving all the way out to Savoy because the food is ALWAYS made right and ready on time here. “I have been a customer since they opened! Was blown away with the amazing selections and bold unique flavors. Coming from Chicago I wasn’t able to find any sandwich shops like what I was use to. Once these folks opened up shop they brought to the table what this area needed! Great quality sandwiches backed by great quality service! I have tried just about everything on their menu and I have never been disappointed. They truly have a passion and you can see and taste that in their product! That’s hard to find now days. So if your looking for something new and want to experience great food, don’t hesitate to give them a try!“

“Filippo's is our families favorite place for pizza and pasta! Their pizza sauce is the perfect mix of sweet and their pasta is to die for! Don't forget about the garlic bread, it is soft and delicious! We absolutely love the staff here, they are top notch! The only change I would suggest is fresh mushrooms on the pizza instead of canned.“

“We were on the last leg of a cross-country trip from San Francisco to Michigan and hungry made itself known. We made a flying drive-thru tour of UI-UC and ordered pizza and empanadas from Manolo’s on the way into town. While zooming down I-57, we noshed on a cheese and chicken pizza as well as three empanada varieties: inferno chicken, jalapeño chicken, and potato and cheddar. Everything was awesome! I especially appreciated the pizza crust: thin, pliable, chewy, flavorful but not too salty. The one-man show running the operation during our quick stop on 12/29/21 even took time to use a clean cutter on the pizza so the PN/TN allergic diner could enjoy the feast. Is a desire to try the rest of the empanadas a valid reason for the offspring to attend UI-UC? Maybe it validates a return, daytime visit.“

“OK, I haven't been to Monicals in a while, however, the thin crust pizza was excellent. The thin crust sorta reminds you of the quick brick oven pizzas, thin, light and crispy...very good. The place was clean and our waitress was patient, nice and she took care of us. I went right after shopping nearby, when we arrived barely anyone inside, but, by the time we left, filling up quickly. I know it is a chain, but, definitely good pizza.“

“Great selections of pizza and cheap beers - a perfect combination for a local bar. It is a small town bar but it was hard to believe how much cheaper everything was compared to even other places nearby. Nothing fancy and great place to hang out with people.“

“The best part about this place was breezily the atmosphere. Felt as though it had been pulled out of a small local pizza place in Chicago. The fire pizza was ??. We also got some of the San Pelegríno and gelato and tasted very authentic. They import all of their ingredients to make it as authentic as possible. While I wish the issue never happened at all the owners fast response and respectfulness made up for the poor experience. I will be giving the business a second chance.“

“We were with my in-laws and they recommended we go to Papa Murphy’s to pick up a couple of large pizza’s to cook at home. Im glad we did because they were great.Papa Murphy’s will assemble a pizza fresh for you and you take it home and bake it at your own convenience. The process was simple and within a few minutes we were able to pick up a couple of fresh pizzas, assembled before our eyes.We ordered one Gourmet Veggie and one classic supreme. It was enough to feed 5 of us for less than $50 and we even had a few slices left over. Very good pizza ???“

“My favorite place to get late night food! The staff is always friendly and the pizzas are sooooo good. Sometimes they do run out of my favorite flavors but they usually have a lot to choose from. 10/10 recommend for both late night or just passing through! “I ordered online and was quoted 14 minutes. I live on the north outskirt of Urbana so it takes me at least that long to drive to this location. Then I was stopped by a train on Bradley for a good 10-15 minutes. When I finally made it to this location, I was informed that my order wasn't even made yet. Obviously I was a little miffed but the lady I spoke with on the phone was very nice and offered to make my order and comp the bill since it was their fault. I was very impressed with how well they corrected their mistake. Will definitely return.“

“Been eating Garcia's for years. Ordered medium Gutbusters pan, well done. Love the sweet, yeasty crust (focaccia like), always a good amount of tomato sauce, maybe a little more cheese. With the Gutbuster there is a different combination of the 4 ingredients in every bite. The business is hanging in there. Slice and salad nice lunch combo.“

“I'm editing this review as I didn't like how it rubbed me when I read it later. I picked up a pizza my mother had ordered. She was charged an 8 dollar tip that she didn't intend but that was likely her mistake. She was also charged a convenience fee for carrying out which is something that seems to be catching on and I take great issue with. Haven't consumers been nickeled and dimed enough? The restaurant got my review and offered a refund but my Mom has almost certainly forgotten about it by now so I won't bother. The man who handed me the pizza was friendly and the pie, as expected, was delicious.“
