It was quiet enough on my night out that I was able to get suggestions right from the sushi chefs which made it an even cooler experience. “Me and my husband tried out this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. What an amazing experience! We started off with the chef's choice nigiri, which we had never had before. Each piece was delicious! We both got drinks: him a beer, and I got the claus-mopolitan. Yummy!! Then we split the Barramundi: sea bass cooked in parchment paper. Oh my god, it was so good! The potato croquettes were very good, but they have Sweet Baby Ray's on them. Wasn't expecting that! This was an amazing experience and we look forward to coming back in the future“
“I ordered a bowl for pickup through their website. I chose crab sticks for my main protein. Extra $1 each to add avocado and crabstick salad. It was delicious and the sushi rice was hot. Bowl was ready at their estimated time. My only complaint is that they forgot 3 of the ingredients that were written on the receipt: pineapple, mango, sweet onion. There was no extra charge for these so I wasn't too upset about it but forgetting 3 items in the bowl is kind of a lot. Next time I'll order there inside the restaurant.“

“I drive about 40 minutes at least once a month to eat here. The drive is absolutely worth it every time. I refuse to eat sushi anywhere else because it will never satisfy as well as Shima’s. I have been going here for about 5 years and the food and service never disappoints. They are like family here and I always leave with a full stomach and a smile on my face.
