“First time dining here since the ownership changed and I'll definitely be back. Restaurant is spacious, comfortable and clean. We came Friday for lunch and tried their lunch specials which come with soup. I tried the Orange Shrimp (pictured), Sushi Platter and Beef with Mixed Vegetables. Both the sushi and Chinese dishes were fresh and flavorful. I ordered the hot & sour soup with my platter which is one way I gauge the authenticity & quality of a Chinese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The soup and dishes we ordered reminded me of my parent's restaurant which they ran for over 30 years. There are very few restaurants serving quality Chinese dishes in the Northwest suburbs so come out and support this restaurant.“
“Wow this place is a gem! My husband and I came here last night and got the Godzilla roll, salmon sunset roll, and two different kinds of ramen. Everything was SO delicious and the sushi tasted incredibly fresh. The lady and gentleman that seemed to be running the place are the NICEST individuals. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the food, but we ate it too fast. This place is almost 40 mins for us, but it’s definitely worth the drive, we agreed it would be our go to sushi spot from now on. See you again soon!“
“Been here several times and always great service. They may take a bit of time to get to your table because it's always busy and they will get to your table. Be patient for the sushi lol it's worth the wait . All rolls are good and appetizers as well. I like to order tobiko roll and put the fish eggs on each roll lol . “Mori Sushi got me all confused after the first bite. It was about 9p.m. when we arrived, and I was surprised it wasn't jam packed in here. Nestled in the Cedar Ridge plaza on Algonquin Rd. with plenty of parking, come check this place out for some authentic sushi rolls and Nigiri. We tried these rolls as pictured: Rainbow, Nigiri, Kamikaze, and Ceviche. None of these rolls were spicy to me and each was absolutely delicious. I finished things off with the fresh cucumber salad and enjoyed it very much. The Kamikaze roll was my first bite, spicy tuna and sweet sauce, but it wasn't spicy at all. The ceviche roll tasted like a fun ceviche would, with the cilantro and avocado. Everything was fresh and flavorful, but slightly warm temp for my liking. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area. Anything with the crabmeat is not gluten free, and they do have Tamari sauce. You'll probably be asking for More. I had two rolls, salad, and my husband had the Nigiri and Rainbow roll. The total was under $100 for us both and worth it. Edit: came back again for the Crazy & Sexy rolls. The Crazy roll had tuna, salmon, avocado and some chili oil in a delicate packet of goodness. I was impressed with the sexy rolls in cucumber, what a refreshing treat! The tuna, salmon, avocado, and radish were rolled in cucumber slices and marinated in a tangy/savory black pepper vinaigrette. I noticed it is more affordable to order from kitchen can get 6 roll for $1 a piece and off conveyor $3 for 2 pieces. “I finally discovered this cosy restaurant which was on my list quite awhile. Everything we tried today was excellent. Miso soup and boiled edamame were just as good as expected. The highlight of my dinner was a sashimi plate! The quality of the medium fatty blue fin tuna and lean blue fin tuna was outstanding. Sake toro and escolar sashimi were mouthwatering. The charred flavor of my husband's squid and mushrooms was delightful. His skewers of chicken and beef were well prepared. His sushi selection of octopus, squid, egg and smoked salmon was fresh and well presented. We were really impressed by the very generous portions and the very fair pricing of the outstanding quality fish compared to the other Japanese restaurants. The sake selection is fantastic and reasonably priced as well. The service was attentive and efficient. We cannot wait to come back. I highly recommend!“

The only critique would be to to change the sesame chicken recipe because it looked and tasted exactly like the orange chicken with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Sesame chicken meat was tough too, we were disappointed with that dish. Otherwise we will be back to try more things off the menu.“

“This has become our go-to sushi spot, especially for delivery. A couple weeks ago I placed an order and they accidentally gave me the wrong roll, so I called and let them know. The person I talked to (I assume the owner but I didn't catch her name) said she recognized my name from the order and will give me the roll for free next time. I didn't think she would actually remember until a couple nights ago when I was going to order again and called the store just to see if she remembered. Right when I told her my name, she remembered my order and told me she would send it. She apologized again and I told her I appreciated the thought and remembering.My fiancee and I already love this place, this took it over the top. “The all-you-can-eat dinner is a good way to try many things on the menu. I have tried about ten different rolls over the years. My two favorite rolls are Black Dragon and Snow Mountain (see the attached picture). The Snow Mountain Roll is not on the all-you-can-eat menu. For some reason, the salmon tasted slightly fishy this time. One time we came as a large party and only two people wanted the all-you-can-eat option. We were told that everyone at the table needed to order all-you-can-eat. I can understand the reasoning for that.“

“Chef Ceaser was a blast! We enjoyed our meals and come here often. Prices have increased and it seems we get less food each time we come in, at least compared to our neighbors at the table. Places is always busy and no matter a reservation or not it’s always a wait in the crowded entry so be prepared for that. Go closer to closing time for a better environment“

“Very tasty food. Had the steak and chicken combination and it was so freaking good. Our hibachi chef was amazing. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is that a woman that looked to be the manager, was the one sitting guests. It was pretty busy considering it was Valentine’s Day but she payed no attention to reservations. Me and my girlfriend and 2 other couples had reservations and have been waiting for more than half an hour as she sat walk in guests that waited 3 minutes at most. This one couple had just walked in and put their name down, manager lady comes back and asks “2?” And then took them to sit at a hibachi table. I tried getting her attention but she didn’t care. I know it was busy but common, have some structure. What was the point in taking in reservations if you aren’t going to look at the list? Horrible manager/ host lady. Amazing servers/chiefs/atmosphere/food. So if you’re coming in on a busy day, make sure you come in extra early even if you have a reservation.“
“Food Again, bigger group. We all ordered from the lunch menu. I had miso soup, spicy tuna roll and a crunch roll. Tuna could have been spicier. I asked for extra wasabi. Service Good service however a little disjointed. I asked for tea and our group had asked for refills and they were slow to fill. We a group of 5 and there was one other table that was seated halfway through our lunch. We did eventually get our tea and refills. Ambiance We all appreciated the video poker machines placed in a different room. Tables were clean. The room was inviting. We were curious as to why there were notes at the tables "please do not take chopsticks". Who steals reusable chopsticks from a restaurant?“
