“I've been a customer since they had the restaurant in the last spot. The food from this place is the best Thai food I've ever had in the 15 years living here. The cooking method and season everything perfectly. Noodles my favorite Pad see eiw. My husband is shrimp fried rice. Most of all 1. Satay chicken sticks with a sweet satay sauce..... yummmWheelchair accessibility: Not very big inside and a small door for entry“
“Thai Corner Cuisine is my friend's go to place for takeout. They took me here to dine in, and wow we were blown away!!! The glassware, silverware and all serving plates are elevated and chic. Not what I expect from Thai restaurants (which are usually a bit behind the times and forgettable). Each dish came on its own gorgeous plate, not just your average run-of-the-mill white dish. My friend said it best: "I can actually taste the green pepper"! When was the last time any vegetable in your dish stood out to you? The peppers/broccoli/snap peas/carrots ALL tasted noticeably fresh! Even reheating my leftovers the following day had me thinking "wow that's a fresh carrot"! What a GEM in the burbs! You must try this place for take out or dine in!“
“Please note we have only been here once and I will edit my review as we have more experiences here. The food was really good and fair price. Staff was really nice. And, the place was clean and well laid out. One dish we had, had scallops in it and they were EXCELLENTLY prepared!!“
“This restaurant has the best Thai Food in Chicago. I don't mind to drive an hour having lunch here. My favorite dishes are Yum Pla Dook Fu and Pad Prik Khung Pla Dook (Crispy) So delicious!! And don't forget to have a scoop of Coconut ice cream. Highly recommend!!“
“What an amazing experience! Thai Siri Restaurant gets a perfect 5/5 for both food, service, and friendliness. Even coming from California with its vibrant Thai food scene, this place stands out. They go above and beyond, providing dried chili flakes, chili oil, and chili sauce for takeout when I asked. And here's a thoughtful touch: they serve the papaya's peanuts on the side, preserving their crunchiness and accommodating those with peanut allergies or preferences. Kudos to Thai Siri Restaurant!“
“First time ordering from this place. Food taste was excellent, however the portion for the price is very small in my opinion. Ordered red curry and its about little more than half of the size where you can get it at 88 Saigon down the street and taste just as good.“
“First time trying this place. I had their PadThai with chicken. It was delicious. Topped it off with hot sauce and it was even more impressive. It's a small intimate restaurant and the gentleman who took my order was personable. I will definitely be back again.“
“A small thai restaurant that pretty much has customers shoulder to shoulder. I was expecting them not to have an orange dish on the menu, but to my surprise they recently added orange karaage which is just lightly breaded white meat chicken chunks tossed with a very mild orange sauce and vegetables. It comes with a side of fried rice. I also opted for shrimp cigars which is just shrimp and basil with a spring roll wrap. The entrees are about $13-$16 and the appetizers are between $8-$13.The food was ready in about 10 minutes. They brought out the entree first then the shrimp cigar appetizer (possibly a kitchen mishap there.) The sauces, including the dipping sauce for the shrimp cigars added nothing, being almost bland. The shrimp cigars themselves were disappointing because you take one bite, pull out the little bit of shrimp/basil then are left with half a spring roll shell. The food overall is ok, but lacks a lot of flavor. Everything was cooked well, with the chicken being juicy with a crisp outer layer which adds to the confusion as to why the food isn't better tasting. They also need to do a better job of highlighting drinks. The staff was nice, checked in every once in awhile & cleaned tables immediately after customers left. You can tell this is one of those spots where they expect you to eat your food quickly then leave, but are nice about it. In the modern age it's actually nice that they even have a place sit down.Vegetarian options: Spring rolls, every dish can just not have meat addedParking: Strip mall and metra parking lotKid-friendliness: Decent place to take kidsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking“
“Overall (A-) It's a great local safe bet place. The food is not excellent but pretty good and the lunch specials are a great value. Food (B) So I got the seafood fried rice lunch special. Included is chicken/rice soup and dumplings. All of the items were good. Safe bet local dining option quality. If I lived close by and wanted a Thai fix - I would order lunch from here Value (A+) Excellent value - especially in this economy. The lunch specials start at less than $10 and include soup and appetizers. It's a great deal. I think I was out the door with tip and tax and upgrade to seafood for $15. Service (A) Excellent friendly and quick service. If you are craving Thai, are near by and want a great value - check this place out.“
“Just ordered fresh spring rolls and medium Pahd Sea Ewe noodles. So delicious and I will absolutely return here! I ordered close to when the restaurant closed, which was rude on my part, but they prepared the food so fast and was perfect. Thank you!!!“
“88 Saigon is a truly a hidden GEM. The staff treated me like family and was VERY respectful. The food was amazing! I especially enjoyed the Vietnamese spring rolls! They were perfectly wrapped with the BEST peanut sauce. The pho is the perfect meal in winter especially. I HIGHLY recommend everyone checks this place out! You will not be disappointed.“
“Food is good I get the orange chicken and crab rag been ordering here for over a year and a half now and it's always the same quality. People seem to complained about no where to eat in there as it is a small place but it seems as if they recently added a table for people to eat at in there.“
“Such a nice place. The food exceptional and very tasty. The owner / manager didn’t think I would like what I ordered so he recommended something else. Same ingredients. Different spices and sauce and noodles. I loved what he brought me. If your in doubt. Ask him. Tell him what you like. He will make it. Even if not on the menu. The crab Rangoon is amazing fried rice is good. You can add what meats or seafood you like to make it better to your liking. Place lets you sit where you like. And your served personally. Asked if Al was good. And given boxes to bring home leftovers All with a simple smile. Wish they played some music in the background. Really quiet inside the resturant.Parking: Spots aren’t numbered. But lots of place to park. Private lot. Gas station next door. Close to shopping“
“I love this place, so does my wife. We eat in on occasion but we mostly do takeout. The food is fantastic. All the people that work here are wonderful, super knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We get the same things mostly, pad kee mao and we’ll ask them to crisp up the noodles. I’m getting hungry just talking about it! They adjust spicy to taste (I’m a zero, she’s an 8) and portions are generous. I’ll occasionally switch to a green curry and we’ll sometimes get egg rolls; all really delicious. We’ve seen maybe three or four different owners open restaurants in that spot. The current owners and staff are our hands down favorites, lovely people and amazing food.“
