“The Okonomiyaki and the Chili Crunch Chicken and Dumplings both highlighted the restaurant's Asian influences. The Okonomiyaki was super fluffy and rich - it remains my favorite Okinomiyaki in Chicago. I loved the broth and textures of the chicken and dumplings, though I also felt like it needed more chili crunch. I also loved the new location - though smaller than the West Loop restaurant, it has fun diner vibe.“

“Great experience while visiting Chicago over St Patty's weekend. Went with friends mid afternoon. We had reservations and luckily so because the place was packed. Ambiance is awesome. The food and drinks were top notch. I had a lamb pot pie. It came with a huge portion of bone marrow. The beef tartare was also amazing. Only pic I ended up getting while there. Still thinking about it. I hope to make it there again someday“

“Stop by Charly's burgers for the first time, after a co-worker of mine asked me to try it out. I definitely have to say they put quality into their burgers. the burgers were seasoned very well, and it was juicy. The Cajun fries speaks for itself, a kick of spice but don't worry it's not going to burn your tongue off. Mr. Charly was very kind and professional with me, and the cook did a helluva job with my food. Thanks fellas, keep it up.“

“Absolutely fantastic! I was researching burger spots in the area for a full 20 minutes and this won. So we had high expectations. This place exceeded all those expectations. We’re visiting from England and let me tell you, if the queen was still with us she would have given this place 10/10! As for myself, i’m giving it a 20/10. Highly recommend“

“Was in the neighborhood and I stopped by. Italian beef sandwich is amazing. Loaded with beef. Only thing that happened was that I ordered an Italian combo and I got just a regular Italian beef. Giardiniera was not spicy at all and I do like spicy. Otherwise, will probably be back.Parking: There is a parking lot on the side of the building.“

“New to the neighborhood, I was excited to try this place, and MAN OH MAN. It was so good. Classic comfort with a delicious twist. We got the Tahini Ranch Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Kefta Burger, and the Stuffed Falafel; not a dud in the bunch. The toppings and condiments that some on the burger and sandwich made basic diner food such a delight without feeling over the top. The real stand out was the stuffed falafel. I never thought of having a filling in a falafel, and the sweetness of the caramelized onions was such a delicious complexity to a classic Middle Eastern dish. Now I want to eat through the whole menu to find my favorites.“

“Just an incredible pizza, every single time. It’s just delicious. The owners and staff are really nice. The pizza has a vinaigrette glaze stuff over it, and with the crust being crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, it’s got an old school Italian kind of taste that you just have to try. The first time I tried a slice, I ate it and thought, ‘that was different, delicious and different.’ Then I thought about how good it was for the next week. I went back for more and this is my go-to place now.“

“We went to Farm Bar last night with another couple and it was so delicious I had to write a review. We started with the cheese curds and we all agreed that they are the best we have ever had. Then we had the salad that was on the Specials list. It was a smear of ricotta cheese with butter lettuce, peas, asparagus, watermelon radishes and a very light, tasty vinaigrette dressing. So fresh and flavorful. The owner came by our table and has a huge farm in Wisconsin so everything is so fresh and menu changes with seasons. My husband had the catfish. He is a southern boy and he loved it. Huge portion as well! Two of us had the cavatelli. Fresh pasta and layered with textures and flavors. And one of us had the burger. He said it was a great burger. Service was very friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend Farm Bar!! Can't wait until the summer and the rooftop opens.“

“I went today…I did not get the name of the person who attended us. I believe he is the owner, he is very nice and welcoming. The chefs are kind with good vibes too. Overall Good vibes. The chicken is not dry, and the friendly fire fries are very well served and delicious. I know a lot of food places get promoted in the city, but I am happy to know that there is a good chicken place here in Forest Park, IL. The food is well priced, and not expensive. To anyone who wants a delicious chicken sandwich and amazing fries please go here. - Ramiro“

“Man this place is such a GEM. I’ve lived in the area for years in different spots and always end up ordering from here frequently. Their consistency is spot on. Their burgers are actually delicious. For SLIGHTLY more than the cost of fast food you could eat a real burger and fries. It’s not gonna be a fancy “artisan” burger or hot dog. You pay a cheap price for food that was made with classic Chicago charm and no pretentious intent. I will always gas this place up to my friends, I hope it stays here forever, would give it 10/5 if I could.“

“I went to Mother's Ruin with a group of my coworkers, and Keith the bartender took the best care of us. He really made all of our nights special. I have also gone to Mother's Ruin for my birthday and graduation, and each time the service is always spectacular. I can't recommend this place enough! I highly recommend the nachos, and the specialty cocktails they have are all delicious.“

“The food was good. Server was very friendly and attentive. The only issue was ice. We ordered the peach teas which was bottled, but they weren't cold. They didn't have ice so we were stuck. My husband loved the Italian burger but said it was a little small for the price. I had a Chicago style polish which was good, but I wish they had tomato wedges instead of slices. Overall a good place to stop for lunch.“

“I love the burgers here! They've been good every time I've come and the meat tastes fresh. The price is decent for wicker park I guess but they also have a dessert area connected that sells mochi and other baked goods. Service is always nice here. The overall ambiance is okay I wouldn't dine in because the tables and floors can be sticky but great for a quick bite.“

The Burgers are huge with a new Burger of the Month that keeps the menu fresh.Every Burger is delicious and totally different making it impossible to pick one. Also you can substitute the beef with Chicken! ? Atmosphere is great with cult classic movies playing behind the heavy metal music. Oh and let's not forget the beer/liquor selection!“

“Absolutely adorable decor as you step into this neighborhood local joint, filled with music legend memorabilia and tv's lit with tunes from Queen. The menu is simple with each burger having its own personality. Each sandwich can be made into a chicken sandwich or a meatless veggie option as well. Had the curds and Parmesan fries on the side. Cute trivia cards to entertain you and your table guests. Was excellent quality food, and wonderfully friendly service.“

“I am a very huge fan of smaller scale restaurants that can be found hiding in the city. Family-owned businesses are typically the ones that have the best food because they do not necessarily look into mainstreaming menus and recipes. with smaller restaurants, you can typically find amazing price opportunities as well as some unique food that has not been released to the broad market. It almost makes locations like this become a treasure if you come across them. Huge shout-out for Lola's. Amazing dogs, burgers, shakes! give them a try when you get the chance. For me, it was worth every penny!“

“I went to Witcher and the burger based on a picture.I saw on the internet. My friends and I were looking for a good burger joint that offered a vegan option. I had the shrimp burger. My other friend had this salmon burger and my other friend had the regular burger medium rear with an egg. You have to build your sandwiches out. They have many options to choose from. Everyone loved the burger And their sides. The only reason I gave it 4 stars. Because I would have loved to have more than one vegan option. After hour build out two burgers came to about forty eight dollars.“

“Love how calming and futuristic the placed looked. Didn’t have anywhere to eat though. The food was very delicious. I recommend to get the meal from take a bao eats and get the crispy spicy Aioli chicken bao was super good. As for the service, everything is digital all you have to do is wait for the food which isn’t long of a wait. A lot of different foods to order.“

“We ordered take out. Our wait for delivery was an hour. The food was cold. We did not receive syrup, butter, napkins or silverware. One order was missing the grits. One order was missing the potatoes. The potatoes that were delivered were under cooked and the onions and peppers topping them are raw. For $70+ we expected better.“

“Easily the best halal burger you can get in Chicago! Everyone on staff was so friendly and the Backfire Burger, curly fries, and onion rings were so tantalizingly delicious. Everything had so much flavor and came out FRESH. I think I've seen a couple reviews that had made a point about the food taking a while to come out BUT it's because everything is made to order--so worth the wait. Definitely going back again for that burger ?“

“Beers were great as expected. We were not impressed with the nachos. The meat was tasteless and hard to separate so lots of meat in a bite or no meat. The cheese sauce had a nice wang to it and chips were ok. Will try something different next time.“

“Clark Street Dog, a fun little bar that has all the charm that a Chicago bar should. The food is some of the best, the wings are always juicy, and the Philly is a must. “I've been to Hangry's a few times and I love the food here, especially the Philly cheese. My only issue is the last 2 visits they messed up our orders. My sister buffalo salad but got buffalo tater tot instead. She also got a strawberry horchata slushy but received a regular horchata slushy. After ordering we didn't realize they didn't put in my brother in laws order in until a few minutes after eating he hasn't received anything. Lastly we asked for a side of cheese and sour cream and only got ?. A little disappointed in the service but the food is really good though.“

“Rating the service based on the service I received, not the service I didn’t. ?When I came in, it was about 50 min after opening, and service was just picking up due to the concert scheduled for next door. There was one guy was behind the bar who was actively helping the slowly growing crowd, and he took my drink order and made it up for me while I looked over the menu. VERY well balanced drink!!A few minutes after 5, a lady showed up. It quickly became clear that it was both of their first days, because no one knew the discount code for the concert hall staff from next door. How management let that happen on a show night, I’m not sure. ? Rafael handled it like a pro, though.A few minutes after came in and she set her stuff down, Rafael suggested she take my food order while he helped the rest of the people he had at the bar and tables behind me. She turned back to the bar wall and didn’t respond or look in my direction at all. She instead read the menu for a bit, then carried her bank around for a while, then walked to the POS and hopped on her phone for a call. The food & bev manager in me was dying, but I’m not a jerk, so I just waited. And waited. It eventually worked out in my favor because Rafael realized she wasn’t going to help me and continued taking care of me.She finally took on a single bar guest about half an hour after she set her stuff down.Drinks were stellar, and the Bang Bang Shrimp was good! Panko is an interesting choice instead of tempura, but it wasn’t bad!!5/5 for Rafael & Restaurant Atmosphere4/5 for Food3/5 for the MIA management4/5 OverallI’ll 100% be back next time I have a show next door, but I probably wouldn’t stay if it was just her behind the bar. No hate, just very underwhelmed.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter or get around, and I believe there were low tops near the front, and outside when the weather is good. The tables in the back half are high tops though, so keep it in mind that accessible seating IS a bit limited.“

“Great place serving up Chicago deep dish! The complimentary bread that comes at the beginning is served with olive oil and was excellent. For appetizers, we got mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, and tater tots. The mozzarella sticks were fried perfectly and had a great cheese pull! The tater tots had the perfect crunch to them! The veggie deep dish was packed with toppings. The veggies inside could have been cooked a bit more but the flavor was great!“

“A really great little place. My go-to for grilled burgers. If I had to say anything negative, maybe the sides of feta are a little small for the price. But I can always get that at the grocery store. It's somewhat greasy, good food when you have a taste for it.Dietary restrictions: I have a fish allergy, and I've never had a reaction from any of the food. So they do a good job keeping the fish/shrimp separate.“

You order at the kiosk and find a seat/get a pager to grab the food when your order is up.There weren't any high chairs or booster seats, probably because it's in a brewery. I brought my own, and it was fine. It didn't feel inappropriate to have a kid (11 months old) there.
