First time eating there and we were in the area so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean. I had a full order of biscuits and gravy with a lemonade. Son ordered a patty melt with fries and the spicy mozzarella sticks with an Arnold Palmer. Had Sunday lunch at Eye Opener, and everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!! I had the BLT, and I don't think I've ever had one better than this! Great service, friendly staff, very good prices, and this place just can't be beat!!
This is a local family-style diner. Most of the diners here appeared to be regulars, as they greeted the server by name. This was my first visit here. The menu features basic, standard fare. You won't find avocado toast, huevos rancheros, eggs Benedict, or tofu but all the usual breakfast items are here: omelets, hash browns, pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy for breakfast and burgers, chicken, fish, tenderloin, fries and onion rings for lunch.
