“Cookies are great. There is nowhere in this town that has cookies that good. Only reason that it is a four star is because there is not a lot of parking, plus, the store is very small to where if it's busy you have to stand outside. Great cookies though!!!”

Very good, but I think the beets (fewer perhaps) should’ve been chopped into smaller pieces with more strawberries and greenery. Very filling. I had the roasted eggplant for my entree. Wonderfully seasoned, served over a bed of white rice. I would definitely get it again. My desert choice was the blueberry cheesecake. Scrumptious! The staff was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back. Nice outdoor patio area as well. Thumbs up!”

“This place ROCKS! I hosted a Senior Send Off event here in late April for a student organization I am involved in. Topo's easily exceeded all of my expectations. They were very easy and flexible to work with and willing to do what it takes to make my event a success. All of the staff is incredible as well. Throughout my event and for several days after, people were coming up to me and could not stop talking about how great the venue was. The venue stole the show in the best way possible! The interior is recently renovated but still holds an old, stately mansion feel. The back porch is beautiful and they have great seating and a nice fire. I would highly recommend Topo's to anyone looking for a venue. It truly took my event from good to great!”

“Dunkin Donuts in Bloomington Indiana sucks! They don't understand English. They will give you the wrong donuts. They sell stale donuts. When you get the wrong donuts through the drive thru and get home to find they screwed up your order they are rude and ill-mannered about fixing THEIR mistake. They actually want you to drive back their mistake so they can resale the donuts to another unsuspecting customer. You don't know where their donuts have been since they break the law by reselling these donuts people return to them. They don't have a sign at the drive thru, saying what kinds of donuts they have, So you have to describe them. Since they don't speak proper English they guess at what you are ordering. I don't know how they got powdered sugar from me saying chocolate icing. When you call them you can expect the run around and rudeness. Trust me when I say there are better gas station and grocery store donuts in Bloomington and from now on that is where I will get my donuts.”

“Two sticks is a very unique bakery here in town. They have baked goods you simply won't find elsewhere. Everything is made that day and once it is gone... it is gone. A personal favorite is the potato & spinach handpie and theor focaccia bread whatever its ingredients that day is alway solid.

Pretty much a take it and eat it else where in & out type of place. However the product is good, the staff is attentive, and the menu is unique. It stands out Vs the other bakery's in town based on its menu.”

“I enjoy traditional Chinese food. I was taught how to cook traditional Chinese food with teaching that originated from China Town, Boston. I like really enjoy their traditional Chinese dishes and they have more moden dishes if that is what you like. Service is quick, friendly and professional. I enjoy extra- spicy and love garlic, so I usually order mine with double-spicy and 5-times garlic in it and it's worth the extra dollar. If I were a student from Asia, I would be reading only here, but I do anyways!”

Fed a group of 22 people (mostly from NYC, London, and Paris) and every single person raved about it being a phenomenal cake. Will absolutely be ordering from here again next time I need a cake in Bloomington!”

“Soma coffee is the best coffee I have ever had. I tried it while visiting my son in Bloomington. I now order several bags at a time to be delivered to my home. Friendly staff, excellent & personal customer service. I live 7 hours away & they know me by name. My personal favorite is the Burundi ☕️”

I've seen the nastiness they deal with from the customers who chose to come eat in a very understaffed unappreciated under paid and over worked restaurant ran by at most 3 young woman. Cut them some slack, it's apparent the store and the people who park and go in and eat need them probably closer to more than they need us or Denny's. The world ugly don't punish the ones who wake up every day and still work a job”

“I ordered a Ruben and when it arrived the toast was black and burnt. I never complain so I said nothing and tried to eat the sandwich but the toast was very hard. After trying to eat it I just gave up not wanted to be a bad customer and make my two adult friends uncomfortable. I just paid the bill $70.+and gave the server Emily a $20. tip. My friend ordered one of her usuals but the sauce was not what she normally gets. We were told that the cooks sometimes use whatever is available and finally just sent out a replacement with NO sauce. She finally just gave up and ate whatever she ordered. The third friend her husband avoided the situation. We finally gave up and I paid the bill with my Sky Miles AMEX card total $90.+ We came into the restaurant probably around 7:30 or 8pm. Sorry for the bother but it bothered me I've lived here since 1972.”
