“This restaurant has the BEST Korean food! Home style cooking, very reasonable prices and portion sizes. Highly recommend their seafood soup noodles and other soups like the spicy tofu soup and dry cabbage and short rib soup, but it’s all super good. The owners are so kind, grateful to have such a yummy restaurant in town!

“Cookies are great. There is nowhere in this town that has cookies that good. Only reason that it is a four star is because there is not a lot of parking, plus, the store is very small to where if it's busy you have to stand outside. Great cookies though!!!”

These fries have surpassed their humble beginnings as an oft neglected side, and have risen to the highest peaks of the culinary landscape; a meal in their own right.”

Very good, but I think the beets (fewer perhaps) should’ve been chopped into smaller pieces with more strawberries and greenery. Very filling. I had the roasted eggplant for my entree. Wonderfully seasoned, served over a bed of white rice. I would definitely get it again. My desert choice was the blueberry cheesecake. Scrumptious! The staff was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back. Nice outdoor patio area as well. Thumbs up!”

“Specifically came here for Korean corn dogs. They were really good. I got an all cheese and a half cheese/half dog. There is a ton of cheese in these and it’s a good quality hot dog. Made fresh and crazy cheese pull✨ Also tried a milk tea, I got the specialty cookies and cream and it was so good! All the girls working were really nice and friendly. I would come back again💗”

“Good food at a good price. Had shrimp fried rice & a veggie egg roll. The shrimp were huge & there were a lot of them. The rice had a really good flavor. The egg roll had just the right amount of cabbage filling & was cooked just right. Come here a lot & have never been disappointed. Better than some of the more pricey places in town.

Vegetarian options: They have the usual veggie options in fried rice, lo mein, egg foo young, etc. Spring rolls are vegetarian friendly & you can get veggie egg rolls. There's a vegetable section on the menu.”

“Dunkin Donuts in Bloomington Indiana sucks! They don't understand English. They will give you the wrong donuts. They sell stale donuts. When you get the wrong donuts through the drive thru and get home to find they screwed up your order they are rude and ill-mannered about fixing THEIR mistake. They actually want you to drive back their mistake so they can resale the donuts to another unsuspecting customer. You don't know where their donuts have been since they break the law by reselling these donuts people return to them. They don't have a sign at the drive thru, saying what kinds of donuts they have, So you have to describe them. Since they don't speak proper English they guess at what you are ordering. I don't know how they got powdered sugar from me saying chocolate icing. When you call them you can expect the run around and rudeness. Trust me when I say there are better gas station and grocery store donuts in Bloomington and from now on that is where I will get my donuts.”

“Two sticks is a very unique bakery here in town. They have baked goods you simply won't find elsewhere. Everything is made that day and once it is gone... it is gone. A personal favorite is the potato & spinach handpie and theor focaccia bread whatever its ingredients that day is alway solid.

Pretty much a take it and eat it else where in & out type of place. However the product is good, the staff is attentive, and the menu is unique. It stands out Vs the other bakery's in town based on its menu.”

I go out of my way from Indianapolis to get this food. The mapo tofu is my second favorite and is so amazing. It appears to be a set price and then all you can eat (and includes fountain drinks).
I loved the sauce bar. I would suggest adding crushed nuts, fried onion, fried garlic and sugar to the sauce bar.
My partner and I were so happy with our meals. He loved the gyoza. I loved the tofu skin. We both loved the corn dipped into chilli oil.
I wish we lived locally to come again but we are just visiting town for a short period.”

“As a new freshman at IUB, I was overwhelmed by all the food options near campus. After a 20-minute walk from my dorm to down a street packed with restaurants serving Chinese, Indian, Burmese, and more, I chose My Thai Downtown for my first meal out and I’m glad I did. Even with other guests already there, the wait time was super short, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive.

I ordered fried rice with beef and a small tom yum soup with shrimp, and my boyfriend got crispy chicken with ginger and jasmine rice. The food was so good I could cry, and the huge water cups were a surprisingly nice touch. We sat on the deck with a nice breeze, and the total was $43.17 (plus cash tip). Overall, this was a perfect first dining experience in Bloomington and I would recommend this place to anyone here. :)”

Cut them some slack, it's apparent the store and the people who park and go in and eat need them probably closer to more than they need us or Denny's. “I ordered a Ruben and when it arrived the toast was black and burnt. I never complain so I said nothing and tried to eat the sandwich but the toast was very hard. After trying to eat it I just gave up not wanted to be a bad customer and make my two adult friends uncomfortable. I just paid the bill $70.+and gave the server Emily a $20. tip. My friend ordered one of her usuals but the sauce was not what she normally gets. We were told that the cooks sometimes use whatever is available and finally just sent out a replacement with NO sauce. She finally just gave up and ate whatever she ordered. The third friend her husband avoided the situation. We finally gave up and I paid the bill with my Sky Miles AMEX card total $90.+ We came into the restaurant probably around 7:30 or 8pm. Sorry for the bother but it bothered me I've lived here since 1972.”
