“This is a great low key place to get some amazing Korean food. This time I got the ttukbaegi bulgogi (hot stone bowl beef bulgogi) and it was sooo good. The broth was seasoned perfectly with a hint of sweetness. The beef, noodles and rice cakes were cooked perfect. Loved the Bachman, especially the fish cake and yellow radish. Would definitely order again.”

I will anyways! The customer service is great and the owners are incredibly kind. The takeout portions are huge and usually enough for more than one meal.

Favorite dishes: potatoes with mala sauce, crispy tofu, bok choy with garlic, mixed vegetables with curry sauce, three cup tofu, tomatoes and egg, and many others!

The space itself is pretty spartan, so I'd recommend it mostly as a takeout place rather than a place to dine in, but otherwise it's a perfect 10/10 for me!”

Very good, but I think the beets (fewer perhaps) should’ve been chopped into smaller pieces with more strawberries and greenery. Very filling. I had the roasted eggplant for my entree. Wonderfully seasoned, served over a bed of white rice. I would definitely get it again. My desert choice was the blueberry cheesecake. Scrumptious! The staff was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back. Nice outdoor patio area as well. Thumbs up!”

I have to tell you that I was skeptical, but this was best wedding or event food I have ever had in my 65 years. Even though Danielle is a born grown Hoosier, we really enjoyed her service. We talked football for a bit, and she recommended some local places we should visit while in town. One of the local restaurants she recommended for dinner was great. Being so far away from home in a rival Big10 town it was really nice having a server that made us feel at home with her kindness and attentive, thorough service. IHOP go try to hire at least one Danielle for each of your restaurants and you’ll see your sales grow tremendously. We will definitely be back during basketball season.”

“This place ROCKS! I hosted a Senior Send Off event here in late April for a student organization I am involved in. Topo's easily exceeded all of my expectations. They were very easy and flexible to work with and willing to do what it takes to make my event a success. All of the staff is incredible as well. Throughout my event and for several days after, people were coming up to me and could not stop talking about how great the venue was. The venue stole the show in the best way possible! The interior is recently renovated but still holds an old, stately mansion feel. The back porch is beautiful and they have great seating and a nice fire. I would highly recommend Topo's to anyone looking for a venue. It truly took my event from good to great!”

“Dunkin Donuts in Bloomington Indiana sucks! They don't understand English. They will give you the wrong donuts. They sell stale donuts. When you get the wrong donuts through the drive thru and get home to find they screwed up your order they are rude and ill-mannered about fixing THEIR mistake. They actually want you to drive back their mistake so they can resale the donuts to another unsuspecting customer. You don't know where their donuts have been since they break the law by reselling these donuts people return to them. They don't have a sign at the drive thru, saying what kinds of donuts they have, So you have to describe them. Since they don't speak proper English they guess at what you are ordering. I don't know how they got powdered sugar from me saying chocolate icing. When you call them you can expect the run around and rudeness. Trust me when I say there are better gas station and grocery store donuts in Bloomington and from now on that is where I will get my donuts.”

The parking lot here can be a little congested and difficult but my food is always fresh and as long as that manager is working it's fast pace and food is warm and delivery is quick.”

Parking nearby can be tricky, but paid street parking is standard for most places in the area.”

I got a decaf Masala signature latte. A large hot latte usually has three pumps of vanilla syrup, cardamon and ginger. I ask for two pumps of syrup as I don’t like my coffee sweet. It was PERFECT! “I ordered a Ruben and when it arrived the toast was black and burnt. I never complain so I said nothing and tried to eat the sandwich but the toast was very hard. After trying to eat it I just gave up not wanted to be a bad customer and make my two adult friends uncomfortable. I just paid the bill $70.+and gave the server Emily a $20. tip. My friend ordered one of her usuals but the sauce was not what she normally gets. We were told that the cooks sometimes use whatever is available and finally just sent out a replacement with NO sauce. She finally just gave up and ate whatever she ordered. The third friend her husband avoided the situation. We finally gave up and I paid the bill with my Sky Miles AMEX card total $90.+ We came into the restaurant probably around 7:30 or 8pm. Sorry for the bother but it bothered me I've lived here since 1972.”
