“Okay so I reviewed this LOVELY and establishment back in the summer of 2022 and I'm here to tell you I have been back in December of 2023 on a much grander scale. I decided that the food was so homey, warm and delicious that I wondered if the would cater our company Christmas lunch. Well they did and they did not disappoint. I ordered enough food for 20 people and we got enough to feed at least 30 for just a little over $350. Brisket, smoked chicken, pulled pork, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, baked beans, biscuits, green beans, salad and banana pudding. The food alone was not the only attention to detail. The owner Danny was so attentive and text me on a regular basis to make sure we didn't miss anything and to offer up anything he though we may want in addition to our order. All of this attention and I learned that he was in the hospital with PNEUMONIA!! That is dedication to your business people. Don't let the outside of this establishment fool you. The love that lives in this business and the taste of the food is truly noticeable and well worth your time!“
“Me and my husband went for lunch and got the shrimp tacos, our server Jason was amazing and attentive. He recommended the chips and queso and let us know about the free chip refill! Such a welcoming staff and good management! Highly recommend!“
“Decided to try this place on our road trip. It was delicious! A bit salty but still absolutely delicious! The Calamari didn't taste sweet or spicy but still no complaints. Thinly battered and tasted good even without doing in the sauce. I had the mussels in the white sauce and my husband had the red sauce. Our son had the sandwich. The bread was really soft (almost like French toast) and the short rib was so soft and tender. We also got the Mac & cheese for our daughters to share. At first they were skeptical because of the color (compared to Krafts) but after the first bite, they were convinced. It was so creamy. Our girls ended up having a little of everything and actually finished off their plates.“
“I took my friends here and it was just the best. The food and the welcoming vibe left us speechless I highly recommend everyone to try this.Parking: Pretty decent parking it’s not the biggest but it’s easy to come in and out.Kid-friendliness: I also took my little brother and the music and the smell of the food took away his anxiety ?“
“First time experience. Food was tasty but felt a bit pricey. Service was very slow. Soda was not correct syrup consistency but when asked the charge was removed. Not sure why there was a merchant fee. ?? They ran out of silverware.Vegetarian options: One of us had a taco that had a black bean burger in it. Excellent taste.“
“The food was fresh and delicious and very nicely presented! We had burgers, Nashville hot chicken, wings and exotic fries. Service was very friendly but quite slow and our cups sat empty for most of our meal.Parking: Evening wouldn't be an issue. There are parking meters along the roads but are only monitored I believe 8am-6pm“
“Portion sizes and flair for fresh and local is all spot on. You will not leave hungry but usually not with leftovers either. The caliber of cooks and chefs here is top notch. And I adore the simplicity and rotation of the menu through the seasons. We say you can always tell someone's skill by how they make soup and these are the best soups I've ever had. Muligatawny all the way!! Seriously good food for foodies. AND such a wonderful cause and mission. I always leave feeling good.“
“So let me start by saying, their house salad is the best ever! There's so much in it!! I got the fish sandwich for my meal, it was good, but I couldve ate the cheese fries and salad and been full. Wish they would build one in Louisville ❤️“
“Wow! This was by far one of the best spots I tried in Louisville. Both times I went, the pork belly tacos were simply heaven. From a unique selection of French fry flavors, to delicious Mac n cheese ball appetizers, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The service was very pleasant and friendly, definitely worth your time.“
“In Season is the perfect place for a delicious, fast, and healthy lunch! The food is impeccably seasoned and well curated to make use of local “in-season” foods. Everything is fresh and delicious!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, and easy ability to sub-out animal proteins for many other choices.“
“Harry's has a view of the Ohio River, depending on where you are seating. The service was excellent. We ended up ordering bar snacks only but my onion rings were what you would expect. It was a quiet Sunday night in February but I suspect this place gets crazy busy in the summer!“
“We had dinner at the taphouse Saturday night. Their food is delicious! We had the giant pretzel, blue cheese burger and the crack salad. I wanted to lick my plate. I had the Quaff on Hoosier Red beer on tap and my husband had the Nepo Baby and Foggy Geezer, both IPA's. We both loved them! But, what really made our night was Missy. She was so ever attentive and was very friendly. We loved chatting with her. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area. 5 Stars definitely!“
“We had a girls night out at Square Cut and it was fantastic! We had the “chefs table” menu so we could try several different things and every single bite was amazing. My favorites were the pumpkin dip and mussels. I’m looking forward to my next visit!“
“Got three burgers to split and share amongst the group. All were very good. The bacon cheeseburger was really good. Mushroom and Swiss was super juicy and made to perfection. the best one was the one with prime rib, adding the au ju elevated the burger even more than it already was. The Cajun fries were more on the salty side, so I would probably just go regular next time. Lucky milkshake made with vanilla instead of mint chocolate chip- super thin kinda milky without the vanilla ice cream texture but the chocolate whip cream was where it's at. Definitely would recommend if you are in the mood for a juicy burger.“
“It's been about 8 years since I have been here, and they still do not disappoint. The brunch on Sunday was always a favorite, and hopefully, I get to have it again while still in town. Their drinks are amazing as well. The walking bridge is close, so it's a great place to grab a bite and enjoy some fresh air.“
“We went here for my bachelorette party dinner, this place was a very cool vibe. Our waiter Joey was very knowledgeable and made our visit so special. The crown jewel is so tasty and all of the appetizers were sooo good! Such unique place will be back when I come to town. Thank you so much Joey for making me feel special!“
“Added this rooftop dinner to my favorites list! Beautiful view, kind and fun staff, amazingly delicious dinner, and best cocktails we have ever had! Appreciate the sweet tour guide in the gift shop and our waiter, Whitney, for his recommendations and service.“
“This is absolutely one of the best places to go to in Clarksville! The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is superb, and it's great value for your money! You might be waiting a little bit to get a seat because of how popular the place is!It's got a slightly casual formal feel to it with plenty of food and drink options! Morning coffee with waffles? This place has you! Brunch bacon egg avocado sandwich with a spiked drink? This place has you! It's 100% worth a stop if you've never been. I've personally been going for years and have never had an issue with my order or the service!Vegetarian options: Salad, meat free dishes, fruit options, granola options, and plenty of diet friendly options.Dietary restrictions: They clearly label everything and are more than willing to help you find the perfect dish!Kid-friendliness: They joke with your kids and help everybody feel at ease! There are smaller dishes for the kids and of course milk and juice options. It's easily one of the best places to go to in Clarksville!“
“My husband and I cannot rave enough about our entire experience at Buck’s! Kris, the general manager, was incredibly welcoming. Natalie, our server, was very attentive. Our appetizers, entrees and dessert were fresh, flavorful and delicious! Next time we make it to Louisville, we will be dining here again!“
“Stopped here on a road trip for lunch. Loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Handwritten menu, plants, etc. David took our orders and didn't rush us thru, took time to talk and learn about us. Kids had grilled cheese sandwiches and loved the sourdough. I had tomato bisque (yum) and salad. Husband had chicken salad and raved about the pickles. The restaurant is unique. It has 4 different seating areas. We sat alone on the bottom level and had a very pleasant lunch. Restaurant was very clean and homey. Will def be back if we ever return to Louisville!“
“Awesome place! The staff wasn't just friendly but they went above and beyond. Grabbing a bite to eat turned into one of the highlights of our Louisville visit. The food is amazing! Fresh, quality, delicious! The gonzo sauce is no joke! I had to get a milkshake to recover. The milkshake was also delicious... Once my tongue recovered.“
“An experience that lays not just with the food, but the staff. We had to switch our birthday reservation last minute due to driving our sweet cat Luna to the animal hospital. I felt horrible. Manager Anna was not a teensy bit worried about our cancelation, but exceptionally worried about our cat. She went on to ask Luna's name and other questions. Experiencing this human kindness meant the world - especially in that moment. Anna moved our reservation to the next day and made sure we were exceptionally cared for! She paired Neve to be our server (also a cat lover). I was surprised when he asked about Luna! We went on to swap cat photos and names. It was basic human connection - that I feel is often lost in society and certainly in dining experiences. Not at 610. Expect staff to care about you. Due to the cost and the desire to tip 30%+, a meal like 610 happens once a year for us. However, after this experience, we will go to less date nights - just to experience 610 more. This is because of the kind gestures Anna and Neve provided for us during a time of great sorrow. Our sweet cat may have died, but our latest experience at 610 will last forever! Oh, and the food... when coming to view reviews of 610, we are all saying the same dang thang. Order the 5 or 7 course meal. Go with the wine pairing. Arrive hungry, and you won't go wrong. The menu continuously provides innovative flavors curated with passion. A quintessential Louisville favorite. A must. Please, book your reservation now!“
“Every part of our evening was great. The bison burger was the best burger I’ve ever had, perfect amount of juicy and flavorful. The service was also fantastic. Our waiter Jordan was very helpful and made our anniversary dinner and our friends’ engagement memorable.“
“Enjoyed breakfast at Foko’s new location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tried the Wake Up Burrito, Dirty Horchata, and tres leches pancakes! All were delicious! A friend who was with me already made plans to return and bring her family! Love this place!“
“We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! It is, by far, one of the (new) secret treasures in Butchertown. We adore the owner and staff, as we knew most of them from the previous establishment, Decca, and some from other favorite spots in Louisville. The entire menu is thoughtful and creative. The gluten free options are plentiful, as I have CD. Since their menu changes, some of the things I highly recommend this February are:Cocktails:Death Becomes HerLook AliveSalad:Buttermilk greens with garlic struselSmall plates:Marbled potatoesMarinated olivesEntrees:The mackerel (tonight's special)ANY steak on the menu (when it's offered)The chicken with Dijon jus (so good)!Honestly, the entire place has been perfectly curated. It's hands down one of the finest places in Louisville all-around.“
“Food was amazing. Service not so much. These ladies are on super slow time but the food is great. Plan to spend an hour minimum. If you have the right staff your business will thrive. If you have people that literally do not care, it won't. I'd go back just for the owner and the food but not the serving staff. One was good, the other was very put out and refused to go faster then snail speed. She turned so many people away in front of us saying it would be over an hour for their food but truly it was just her. Go for the food, not the service❤️“
“This place was great very chill and lowkey.... webt on a Sunday at 10pm it wasn't busy.... had a chance to play all the pinball machine games (hella fun)... I didn't eat here so I don't know how the food taste... had a overall good time...“
“My wife and I came to Down one a few weeks ago. we sat at the bar on a pretty slow night. The bartender Dustin was very conversational, friendly and very knowledgeable. we had some great whiskey and a few laughs, definitely will come back great place!“
“Nine years since I first wrote a review of Feast BBQ! NINE YEARS! Considering how highly my family and I regard Feast BBQ, it's way overdue for an update. And I can sum it all up like this: loaded tots! Get them piled high with pulled pork. The great BBQ + slaw + green onions + tots (obviously) -- these are pure comfort and stick-to-your-ribs goodness. I can't go to Feast and get anything else. But when I want something in addition to the loaded tots, I go for the fried pickles and an Ale-8 bourbon slushie. Feast BBQ also has online ordering, which we use when we order food while at Akasha Brewing next door. It always makes me happy to see the long tables inside this restaurant full of people. I don't want Feast BBQ to go anywhere. It's the best BBQ in Louisville IMO.“
“hate to leave a bad review but was disappointed in the food. the filet was just ok...not very tender...no sides came with it and for 59 thats ridiculous. The calamari was really good but could have came with a dipping sauce..we had to ask for one. The mushrooms were overcooked and too salty. The salads weren't big at all. The lump crab came in a tiny metal ramekin and it was salty as well and wasn't lump at all..it was shredded. Presentation on a lump crab shouldn't be served this way in such a fancy restaurant. on a positive note...the manager was very professional and they took care of the whole bill plus gave us dessert. I just want to leave this as constructive criticism for them so hopefully they improve the quality and quantity of their food for people paying high dollar. Maybe the chef was overwhelmed or having a bad night not sure. The environment was nice...gorgeous view. Just think there's a lot of changes that should be made to get a higher rating.“
“This has been a dining destination for my family and I for almost 20 years! Not only have the staff and owners become dear friends. The food is unbelievable! The atmosphere and camaraderie from the regulars is something only imagined by most, but is a reality here! The creativity and care put into each and every entrée is evident as soon as the first bite is taken! My children are always excited to try any new specials, but can always find a favorite from the menu. The drink and beer menu is wonderful, there are no disappointments here in my opinion!“
“We used The Copper Room at Orange Clover for a baby shower for a first time momma to be. I just cannot find the words for how wonderful the experience was. First off, the staff, absolutely phenomenal. Every single person I talked to (I’m sorry I don’t remember names, my memory is lacking currently) was so sweet and helpful. I appreciate every single one of you. Second, the food was perfect and delicious. Third, the room itself was everything I hoped it would be and more. The team working helped us make everything absolutely perfect. I cannot imagine a better place to have an event-from the staff, the food, to the location and the service. Beyond grateful for you all! Thank you so so much! ☺️“
“The tacos have my whole heart!!! No seriously, after trying their Thanksgiving taco I have been raving about it to my husband. It got to the point where he told me to either stop talking about it or take him to get one. So we went and got one. Another taco of theirs I really like is the chipotle chicken one. I am a little ashamed to admit, but I've been here many times recently and I've gotten the Thanksgiving taco three of those times , there is just some thing about the zest in their cranberry sauce that really pulls it together. All that to say- I'm excited to come back and try even more of the taco combinations! This is a great place to stop in NuLu for a drink and snack, or you can make a meal out of the menu items. Around the holidays the bar turns into "miracle on market" and becomes a Christmas lovers dream. They usually post who is DJ'ing on their socials. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, food and drinks come out relatively quick even when the place is packed! Overall: check them out even if it's not the holidays, the fun tacos will hook your attention!“
“I love Toasty's. Love the people, the food, the inclusive vibe, the friendly service and lightning fast kitchen. Best burger in this city by a pretty big margin. If there were a con, it's the size. It can occasionally be crowded or full. Still, 5 stars. I eat here at least once a week.“
“Great ambiance with well-spaced, whimsical, and expressive art pieces. The shrimp and grits bowl was a fusion of gumbo with the increasingly common low country shrimp and grits staple. The lemon souffle pancakes were light and bursting with delicate flavors of lemon, vanilla, and bluberry. The Monte Cristo sandwich is a sweet and savory blend of ham, swiss cheese, and orange marmalade with french toast. Breakfast beverage choices are plentiful and delightful. Service is excellent. Detour through New Albany before searching Louisville for an epic breakfast experience!“
“Lived in the area for 1 and half years. Finally made it to the town family friendly diner. Both my husband and I had the Moss Burger with fries with a side of onion rings and cole slaw. Very good!! Loved it! ❤️Asked to see a menu again to check out what they serve for breakfast, Can't wait to go for breakfast. Yummy!!?“
“First time here, had many friends rave about this place. I got the Ollie Burger fulled dressed with cheese. Good old fashioned burger with great taste. Nothing fancy here, just good folks making great food. The seasoning on the fries is awesome. It brings back wonderful memories of the past and also the burgers and fries are the best! This place is the best known for their special sauce and seasoning on fries! So, get extra! The people were friendly and fast. A great experience from a unexpected place, the downside is this place is not open on the weekends and cash only“
“Oh the tacos. These gems are but one reason to visit Merle's. (Try the green chilli btw and you can thank me later.). The beer selection is pretty meek, but the live entertainment really adds to the scene, unless you are right near the stage. Open windows make the atmosphere lively. A great place to go before a concert at Yum Center. Highly recommend.“
“I was driving to the bank and noticed this restaurant. I stopped and walked into a nice room with plenty of staff that took care of us immediately. The room had wood laminate floors and wood on the wall that resembled a high end club look. Our waitress appeared immediately and was very nice. There is a cake shop in the dinning room that sale's homemade cake and pies. For dinner we ate a cod sandwich and meatloaf with mash potatoes and green beans. Food was good and I will return“
“Our server, Jakaela was fantastic! They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was A-ma-zing! Well needed for the roadtrip home. Fantastic location. The place was full but we got a seat in less then 15 minutes and the food came out super quick. A+++++“
“My mother cooked very good chicken Livers. But Lord rest her soul, this place has the best livers I think I have ever eaten. Oh my gosh the dessert cakes are delicious baked fresh from a local bakery. The sweet waitress having only been working there for two weeks. Did a great job. Ask for Cynthia.. We enjoyed the delicious food and will be back. Oh the wife ask do try the Chicken parmesan. Very friendly staff and nice clean restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Do have handicap parking and access.“
“I was visiting Louisville for the Under Armour volleyball tournament. I went to Wild Eggs for breakfast since they opened at 6:30a and got their at 6:45a. I ordered the strawberry tall cakes. It was stack of 5-6 pancakes with plenty of strawberries and compost. The reason for 4 stars is I like my pancakes a little more brown. It has plenty of seats and I didn’t get the name of my server. He was a very nice guy, and since I was short on time, was quick to check me out. It’s convenient in Downtown and a short walk. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.“
“Great spot along the Ohio River. Food was delicious. We had a Beer Cheese Burger, Classic Burger, Turkey & Guac sandwich, Brewery Fries, and Broad Ripple Chips. Unfortunately, the chips were mostly a pile of crumbs. They could have a bigger craft beer selection, and fewer IPAs. Also, the table we were sat at had the sun pouring through the glass. We kept having to slide our table back to get some relief. All in all, I'm sure we'll be back.“
“Wen went with a group of 6 for dinner before a Journey concert here in downtown Louisville. It was the first time any of us had been here, and we all really enjoyed the experience. Great location, close to the Yum Center, and the food and service was great. We will return!!“
“The owner and his staff are very friendly. The restaurant is really clean on the inside. The first time I ordered, I got a rib tip dinner with greens and Mac and cheese. The second time, I only ordered rib tips and one of the staff asked me did I want sides. I told them no because I had sides at home. I let them know that the Mac and cheese was not so great and the owner came out and apologized for that and gave me a free slice of cake to make up. I thought that was really nice of him. He told me that he appreciated my feedback. I still visit every weekend and I get rib tips, greens and potato salad now and a slice of cake but I gotta get it early before it sells out.“
“The main reason we tried The Cafe is because they have something for everyone. The menu is big and they serve breakfast all day. We had a party of 7 with mixed feelings about their dishes, mostly positive. The tuna melt, chicken salad, fried chicken sandwich and kale salad all got thumbs up. All of those meals were really good. The meatball sub and cucumber sandwich got thumbs down.“
“I love going to Cheddars! Their croissants are amazing and their chicken strips are my favorite in this area! You get alot of food for what you pay! Service is always good and restaurant is always clean! The fish tank is an added bonus if you get to sit near it, it's beautiful.“
“This is my first time here and I will be back! The Flo Filet is the most tender steak I have ever had, it melted in my mouth. My daughter's said the Mac and cheese was the best they've ever had. Excellent portion size for value! Hannah was our server and she was sweet and efficient! White cheddar mushrooms, spicy chicken and street corn were also amazing!“
“You know when you take a bite of your meal and your world is flipped upside down? The Cajun tenders got me - they were so moist and tender, with the perfect seasoning. Then the honey rolls add that perfect sweetness to pair with the Cajun spice from the chicken. This is how it's done!“
“First time eating at Sam's and everything was great. Breaded pork tenderloin sandwich was the thicker style and came with country gravy and one side. Tenderloin was well seasoned and very tasty. I got the green beans that I mixed with the gravy. Tasted like green bean casserole which I love. My wife ordered French onion soup (delicious) and the Cobb salad. Huge with fresh ingredients. Topped it off with hard hot chocolate and Irish coffee. We'll definitely be coming back!“
