“What happens when Waco, Houston and San Antonio walk into Irion’s Smokehouse? First of all, we know good BBQ. It is in our blood. After relocating to Indiana, we had sadly only encountered BBQ imposters. Because of that, our expectations today were set low. One bite in, and we were transported straight back to the Lone Star State. Moist, flavorful, and wrapped in that smoky magic that only true BBQ can deliver, Irion’s absolutely nailed it. Our Texas trained taste buds were enchanted. 5 Big Texas Stars. We will definitely be back and we are bringing our visiting Texas family with us next time.”

“Tried the famous onion burger. 2 paddies with grilled onions nestled between the paddies. Very hot and tasty. Fries are skinny and hot. The oil was clean and the resturant did not have an odor of cooking oil. Everyone was pleased with food and service. Working Model train was fun to see above our heads.”

“I haven’t been here in a while and I am so sorry that I haven’t. I’m here tonight with a few other friends. Our bartenders, Sam and Dawn, were incredibly generous with their time in offering recommendations for their menu and drinks. Amanda and Abree brought out our food and made sure we had our drinks filled and all that we needed. They weren’t annoying in any way, just gracefully present and attentive.
We came on trivia night (Thursday) and Mikey with Smarty Pants Trivia put on one hell of a show with his trivia (we won round 2)! I spoke with Kris (the marvelous manager) and wanted to express my gratitude for an exceptional evening because of her staff, food quality, and entertainment value. She was very humble and appreciated the feedback from a guy that she had never met.
I truly enjoyed my experience tonight with my friends and can’t wait to come back and repeat this incredible experience.

“Wow. This place is amazing !! Their pizza, sandwiches , salads and apps are so yummy. I have never had anything to eat here that wasn't good. However, today they did something to make me a life long customer. I ordered a pizza to take home, On the way home I got an emergency call I had to go help with immediately. Sadly the pizza got left in my very hot car for 2 hours. I called Arts and asked a manager if they thought it was still safe to eat. They just were not sure, so they said bring it back and we will make you a new one, no charge. What!! This was not their fault. I left it in the car, I didn't ask for anything yet they stepped up to offer me a replacment . I live 45 min. away so I didn't go back, but their kindness was unbelieveable.. I am an Arts girl from now on !!”

“Took my adult son to lunch at Toast Cafe today. The place’s decor is ‘50’s fun. Clean and casual. Food was delicious and filling. Son had eggs and French toast; I had chicken sandwich with onion rings. Service was good and wait staff were pleasant. Much better than anticipated.”

Yes, we also had to try the pork tenderloin sandwich—hands down, absolutely delicious! I really can't express how wonderful this place is enough. In every aspect, it is incredibly tasty. We were in the area for a concert, and we tried Nerdy BBQ, which is without a doubt the best I've ever had. Friendly employees and atmosphere. WE WILL BE BACK.
