“Celebrated my birthday at Delicia and honestly it was kind of last minute on my part. The staff at Delicia handled our large party like it was no trouble at all, which is very nice during this stressful holiday season! All of the staff were friendly and helpful both to us and obviously each other. The food is definitely on another level of amazing. The menu is unique, intriguing and also inviting. That is super accommodating when dealing with a families different unique palates. The queso fundido is so amazing we ended up ordering two after eating the first so quickly! (Not saying the portion size is small, definitely an app for 4-6 light app eaters). My scallops on my entree were bursting with flavor and the chef surprised us with a candle in our churros for my birthday! Thanks for making this birthday celebration one of my best yet! We will all be back, and recommending!“

“I would rate Bugambilias at 4.5 stars. The restaurant was small, neat, and clean. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was was not salty or greasy and had excellent flavor, which reminded me of good Mexican restaurants in southern California. The salsa was mild but flavorful and not salty. I didn't ask about medium or hot salsa because mild was good for us. My Shrimp Fajita was the best I've had with perfectly seared shrimp and tender but not overcooked or burned vegetables. My companions also loved their Mole Poblano and Beef Mexiote. The fried ice cream and churros were very good for dessert. I recommend it, and we will definitely be back soon.“

“1st time trying Mota Tacos today! It was the best taco place I've been to so far locally. The quality and portions of the food and even the prices of the food was AMAZING. They offer so much on there menu, has great descriptions of the items they have! The customer service was awesome as well, they made sure everything looked and tasted great. The wait time for food was faster than a fast food restaurant as there was also other customers in there as well! If you love Mexican food, you will love this place! 😀“

“We walked right in on a Friday night and sat down at a table. Not only was our server probably one of the best we've had in this city in a LONG time but the food was amazing. We went with the classics- empanadas and the pao for apps, feijoada, picanha, and fajitas for the entrees. The food was just phenomenal. Very authentic, very delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable about all of the dishes and the drinks BUT the very best part of our experience was her attentiveness to our kiddos!We don't get to revisit places often because there are just so many to try but this place earned a spot on our "regular" list.“

“Stopped by Somos Familia for the first time while we were in the area and were IMMEDIATELY impressed! The vibe was great as soon as we walked in with all of the LEDs and mirrors, loved the music in the background, and you could smell how clean the restaurant was. Honestly the chips and salsa were just as good, if not better than our already amazing meals 😂 We got enchiladas de mole and burrito del mar. So so so good and fast! Even the little side salads that they give you at Mexican restaurants and no one ever eats, I tore mine up. Lol I never go out of my way to review many places, but I just loved our experience today. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Indy!“

“First time here. I ordered 2 corn tamales and one green chicken and received 2 chicken instead. Pretty upset about that. Specially since the chicken had no sauce and the flavor just wasn’t there. But the corn was amazing, they don’t prepare tamales here with toppings but I went home and added sour cream and cheese on top, it was great! Overall I would only come back for the corn tamales.“

“Ivy was a great server and after a long day at The convention center our group of four needed someone with a great personality.

I ordered four different tacos as follows: Monthly Special - Cajun Shrimo and Crab. Good flavor not as much crab as I would like but I would still order it again.
Fried Mushroom - Also good. The portobellos were fried up crispy and not overly greasey. I would get this again
Fried Avocado - Not so great. Avocado seemed to be not ripe. Would not get this again.
Barbara - This was excellent. The pickled onions and the beef were a great combo. I would get this again.

Others in our group had various Cantina Bowls and enjoyed them. One person had a pineapple margarita that looked tasty as well did the churros to go.

Overall this will be on my list when I return for PopCon in June.

“I’ve been here a few times and the food doesn’t disappoint. I did have a disappointing experience today with our bill however. There was an extra meal charged on our bill which I brought to our servers attention. When she returned, I found that instead of voiding and printing a corrected bill, she ran a credit charge for the overage. This meant I had to pay the higher incorrect charge and wait (from what I understand) a couple 3-4 days for the credit to return to my card. I don’t feel it appropriate that the customer pay for the billing error then have to wait for a refund. I did let them know I wasn’t happy about it. I will be watching that I do receive this credit. It also put a bad taste in my mouth about returning anytime soon.“

On the server's recommendation, I ordered a Michelada. Let's just say, it was spicy and packed a punch ! For the main course, we got chicken fajitas and veggie fajitas. The sizzle alone made it worth it, and the flavors did not disappoint. And, of course, we couldn't resist ordering flan for dessert. Sweet, creamy, and the perfect way to finish off the meal. Service was also prompt and warm. All in all, despite the initial "is this place open?" vibe from the outside, it ended up being a delicious and memorable meal. Definitely a hidden gem if you're ever in Indy!“
