“We had our company holiday party / 2024 kick off at Salty Cowboy and had an amazing time. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. We had a group of around 30 people and all of the food arrived at our tables quickly and was incredible. The owners, Justin and Kristen, were attentive to our needs and made sure that everything was perfect. I highly recommend the Salty Cowboy if you are looking for a group outing.“
“The food was cooked to perfection and quite delicious. The customer service could use some improvement. The interaction with the servers was a bit uncomfortable, felt like we were imposing and/or interrupting their tasks and conversations by being there.“
“Service was a bit subpar and unfriendly. We had a gift certificate and were asked where "the other half was." We informed our server that the part we had was all we were given (and it had the amount, the issue date, and employee initials). I asked to see an example of the missing half and it was just a picture of the restaurant, nothing specific or valuable. She reluctantly still allowed us to use it but demanded the next time that we bring both parts. Maybe she was just having an off day because she was generally grouchy and left our drinks unfilled. The food was really good though !!“
“Came from out of town for an event. Afterwards we stopped at El Toro! Excellent food, clean atmosphere, all employees were SUPER FRIENDLY. And the manager tonight was VERY PROFESSIONAL & loved hearing our experience. Keep up the excellent work!!!“
“we were tired of the chain restaurants when we discovered Texas Margaritas! First of all they make a delicious margarita without bring stingy with the "good stuff"The dishes we tried were large plates, plentiful and delicious. I tried their Mexican Shrimp Cocktail and it's a winner!! Just enough zing but preserves the other flavors in the sauce. Shrimps were large - did I say the Shrimps were large!!! and perfectly cooked ( I am sure it was frozen uncooked shrimp boiled not longer than 5 minutes and were not pre- cooked) because the shrimp maintained its beautiful bounciness and not chewy or dry! yum! It may be a few $$ more than the usual but very much worth it!“
“Welcome to Moe's...Stopped in for lunch and was greeted just like that, way to Welcome your guests. Had the bowls, and I was thrilled at the healthy choices that were available. Handicap ♿️ access is perfect. The place was very clean too. Family friendly, and I recommend it highly. Sundays children eat free, BONUS ?“
“Went there this week for the first time and it was great. My family and I ordered a few different items to try/share and they all were awesome. We got the Tandoor Murgh, Veg Tandoori Momos, and a few other things. We ordered the magical maggie rolls and those were so good we ordered another plate. Will be going back. Great food, service, and atmosphere.“
“The smell outside was enchanting. It smelled like street tacos in LA where I grew up and immediately knew I should up my expectations.I had a Brazilian drink flight (name?), which was good, but a little light on alcohol. We both picked the Picahna dish and it was amazing so it experience want too swayed. The pictures don't do it justice and we can't wait to go back to try the carne asada.“
“I love the food and the ambiance here. The food is incredible and not overly priced. The service has been great both times we visited. For drinks I tried the Smoke and Stone and the Fire and Ice, I preferred the former. This is definitely one of my new favorites.“
“I started coming 2 weeks ago and I’m in for my third time already. Every one is really nice and make you feel welcome, the food is perfect and if you ask me the chief needs a raise just of the fact they care enough to make every plate with the drive up here, I’d come her every night if the wife would let me, and the drinks are on a different level“
“I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect taco spot since I moved to Indiana 3 years ago. When I tell you this is the best carne asada I’ve ever had… I am not kidding. My partner also said her arroz con pollo was the best she’s had from anywhere. The guys working were both so kind and I absolutely love that atmosphere, the location, everything.“
“It's my first time trying Quesa Tacos, and it's delicious. I tried the steak, chicken and quesabirria tacos, queso and salsa. They even have a salsa bar with pickled carrots. Highly recommend. It's also very cute decorations and clean. My 4 year old liked his steak taco and queso.“
“This restaurant was so GOOD!!! It's definitely in my top 5 in Indianapolis now. The Pupusa were delicious, I got the Loroco, Chicken, and Red Beans pupusas. Your pupusas come with slaw, definitely put that on top for the complete experience.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options. Vegan cheese!“
“Had an amazing dinner and service last night. Bartender, Alyssa, knows the bar and menu well. Asked for a suggestion for dinner, Matador bowl was spot on! Upscale dinner as always in Carmel! Love the atmosphere here. Will continue to come back, so consistent.JG #24“
“Best burritos on the island. Made to order, fresh, full of flavor, and huge!!! We have to stop at least once every trip! Jaime and his wife, the cooks and owners, are very kind. Danny, the server is courteous and friendly. Absolutely love CKB!!!“
“The wait staff was incredible fast, and I got a shrimp quesadilla— it is literally the best one I’ve ever had and I don’t mean that lightly. I’m definitely going to come back to get more in the future since it’s so affordable, and the portions are so filling. 20/10 ??Dietary restrictions: I’m a pescatarian, and they had some really delicious options for me to eat today! I got the shrimp quesadilla, after being recommended that and their fish tacos as well.“
“The service was amazing! We ordered a large amount of pupusas for an event and the employee helped us bring our food to our car. He also would not let us tip him for such a large order! Amazing place with very helpful and friendly staff!! Will be going back and will be tipping :))“
“These are the best tacos in Indy. I usually take them out and they are still good when I get home. In inside seating are is very small, would only eat in on a lunch break. Employees are so friendly and remember repeat customers. Also a great price.“
“So glad I went with my gut, passed this place a couple months back and it gave off very good vibes and potential and man did it deliver in an amazing way. Authentic, traditional and classic flavors that you can only get with freshly preparing and cooking food to order. This is definitely my easy favorite in the area and absolutely in the running for best taqueria in town in my opinion. I will definitely be visiting regularly.“
“Picked this on a whim. I'm not from this side of town but was down here dogsitting. Wow wow wow!!! The server was super kind, helpful, and when he found out it was our first time he explained how everything worked. It's more traditional Mexican so no free chips and salsa but I didn't miss it at all. They do have a salsa bar with all the things you would want to add to your tacos. We had the ceviche (made to order in house), steak torta, and Birria quesadilla. We will be back!“
“JUST GO! I get it it's off the side of the rode but it's good. Late night food is a go. The workers are friendly and will always cook to order which is worth the wait. I'm vegetarian so veggie tacos is my go to with Verde sauce. I love the sauce it's always flavorful and leave you wanting more.“
“Best tacos in town and fantastic service! Zach was dope and recommended the quesabirra tacos which were delicious. All the ingredients were super fresh and prepped perfectly. The space is chill and laid back and we had no wait to get a table. If you’re in Indy… leave Bakersfield, drive right past Condado, and snag yourself a seat at Cholita.“
“This place is small but it manages to have seating inside and out along with food and fresh baked pastries and bread. I was excited to try the quesa birria and it did not disappoint. I did not get the dip but they were delicious. The meat was flavorful and melt in your mouth tender. I also got some Asada and chorizo tacos. Both were good but the chorizo one was amazing. I haven't tried them yet but I couldn't say no to the tamale's. They look like the traditional Mexican style. I will definitely be back.“
“So good! I stopped by for the first time today and I wasn’t disappointed! The tacos are delicious. Super friendly staff, and excellent service. I didn’t catch the lady’s name running the drive through/ cashier stand but she was nice and helpful.“
“Delicious food. Great service. We've used them a number of times. Basically every year we visit, we make it a point to get food from here! They also have food for kids that aren't Mexican in case you have kids that are difficult to please.“
“This restaurant is our family's favorite! The staff is so kind and friendly. The food is phenomenal. I've ordered many different things from the menu and leave with a full belly and smile every single time. I definitely recommend you try them out if you love authentic mexican cuisine.“
“I just stopped in here for lunch. Solid vegetarian options. The owner and the wait staff were both super friendly. My food was delicious. I'll definitely come back here in the future.Vegetarian options: Their beans are made fresh and cooked without any animal lard. They have vegetarian tacos, quesadillas, sandwiches, burritos, omelettes, and more“
“Well.. let's start from the beginning wanted to go to Cracker Barrel but it's gone but then went to Denny's and let me tell you Denny's is not a good spot up there on Michigan. I'm not sure what address that is but it sucks we went in it was just three of us. It was not busy and the cashier, I'm sorry she was cashing someone out and someone else w her... standing there with her. She goes to the kitchen to complain about how she's been there since 530 and now it's like maybe 9 o'clock and how she wasn't gonna help anybody blah blah blah so we left and we ended up at Chef D's breakfast small quaint love it. The menu is very plentiful. We went for breakfast, but I wanted some of everything that was on there. It was my birthday the day before and we needed to get some food: my friends had to back home to Chicago and we came up with this place. Love it will go BACK!“
“Chava’s Mexican Grill was quick, delicious, and friendly. The food is prepared infront of you and you get to pick your toppings. Their rice and refried beans are some of the tastiest I have had in the area. The salsas are great and they have plenty to choose from. The dishes pictured are a chimichanga and a torta al pastor.“
“Recommended by a fellow Mexican. The food was good. I stuck with classic Enchiladas ( Mexicana Enchiladas one shredded chicken, one cheese and one ground beef). It was topped with different sauces emulating the colors of the Mexican Flag. There were many other selections that I would call fusion as it went beyond what you would get at more traditional Mexican Restaurants. I am confident you can find a dish that suits your mood that evening and something different a delicious for your next visit. Give them a try.“
“Found this place while driving to our hotel. It was excellent! We were the only non-Spanish speakers there, which meant it was "authentic" mexican food. The servers spoke little English, so we just pointed to what we wanted. I got the Nacho Supremos and my hubby got the Shrimp Tostada....outstanding! Next time we visit our Nephew and Niece in law who live in Indianapolis, we will need to bring them here!“
“I was looking for a new Mexican food restaurant and tbh I'm glad I took a chance on this location. I enjoyed everything we all ordered and the amount of food they serve you is definitely worth the prices. Definitely will be coming back again. Especially for the Margarita Pitchers ? amazing food and drinks. And the service was amazing S/O to Luis. He took care of all of us and was very attentive.“
“This is taco truck located at staples parking lot. Amazing tacos, friendly staff, big portions, reasonable price. i got al pastor and they were 3.75 each. There were two tables if you want to dine in. Will be going back to try different things on the menu!“
“You want a seafood place to be busy, and this one is. It's busy because it's very good, like a restaurant on the beach in Zihuantanejo or..... San Blas!Wide range of seafood and all have been very good. The house cocktails should not be missed either. They do a version of something i would call a Mezcal Old Fashioned that is excellent.“
“La Hacienda does a lot of advertising, so we decided to trek over to Carmel and see if they live up to the hype. I think they are part of a chain because there are other Mexican restaurants around town with the same name. This one is located in a strip mall just west of IN-31. The restaurant is large and tables spread out inside. There were a number of monitors playing Big 10 basketball during our visit. The dining room seemed a bit dark, but clean. The decor was modern and comfortable, but not upscale. Gilber, our server, was efficient and friendly throughout our visit. He checked on us regularly. He was 5 star. The menu is pretty typical Americanized Mexican with the usual offerings. They have a lunch menu as daily specials that run around $10. The food is not elevated, but standard Mexican. The complimentary salsa is good. The chips were freshly fried. I had the Speedy Gonzales lunch which consisted of a taco, enchilada and beans. The food was pretty standard looking, but portions were huge. The beef hard-shell taco was over stuffed with ground beef and cheese. The beef enchilada didn't have a lot of flavor, but adding salsa helped. My husband had lunch Special #9, which was composed of beef enchilada, burrito and beans. He thought the meal was good. They have a full bar and and plenty of dedicated parking.“
“The food is consistently very good & fresh, and the manager Armando is so friendly and always doing rounds checking on everyone. The Tios Burrito is my absolute fave!!! Give them a try! I’ve been here many times on lunch break and never been disappointed.“
“There are 3 Mexican restaurants in Clermont, IN all within a half mile of each other. This is the only one that seems authentic. My girlfriend is Hispanic and she told me this is the first place she's been in Indy where the food reminds her of her Abuelas cooking; brought over from Mexico. Delicious food, awesome owner and staff! UPDATE: I accidentally left my wallet in the store. The staff kept it safe for me for 2 days. Great experience as always!“
“We had a great experience at this new location at 96th and Meridian. Donel was our server and was very nice and made the experience great. It's very nicely decorated and very clean. The food taste fresh and came quickly. My husband got the fajitas and I got the burrito. We also got an appetizer of guacamole. We did only have one basket of chips and salsa, so I am not sure if they charge you for additionalor not. They have a really cute bar that sits off to the side. They have really nice booths around the side of the room and then regular tables in the middle. We will for sure be back.“
“NomNom for us David! Great food located in sun king brewery. My favorite things are the nachos--big enough for a hungry person entree or spilt with a friend if you enjoy sharing ha. They are a lunch try worth of nachos. Birria Tacos are also delicious. They have a taco meal which is like two tacos with chips n salsa--you really can't go wrong with anything! Good portions for the price and always delicious! Perfect food to pair with a sun king beer!“
“I nearly missed this place, but I am so glad that I found it. Nestled in the middle of a strip mall, it can be difficult to see when driving past on 56th St.The interior is so cheerfully decorated that it will instantly improve your mood. Surrounded by bright colors, dining in is a pleasant experience.I ordered at the counter, and the employee was very friendly. Before I even opened the menu she helpfully mentioned that they had vegetarian food as well, although it isn't on the menu.I ordered a vegetarian burrito suizo, which was smothered in melted white cheese and truly delicious. It was full of sautéed vegetables, rice and beans. almost didn't notice the desserts in the refrigerated case but as soon as I did I grabbed a choco flan.Breakfast is severed until 11 am, and I am hoping to return soon to try it.“
“This restaurant is amazing! We loved the delicious and authentic mexican food and Larissa (general manager) gave the best customer experience with great energy and very professional! We tried the cocktails and the Maria’s Enchiladas! I hope back again“
“I was surprised that I had not tried this restaurant yet seeing as it's so close to home! I love how close it is to me, while I do think that if the establishment could use a new paint job, I can honestly say the service and warmth you receive from their staff makes it not too important. I had some of the best service while my partner and I went to grab some lunch. Reading on their website, I saw that the Rodriguez family is from Michoacán, however when trying the food I didn't feel as it reflected it. The food is catered to what Americans think is Mexican food. While talking to staff they informed me that they don't have anything spicy in the menu, which is understandable for the location. I got enchiladas verdes I thought they were all chicken, but I was pleasantly surprised that I got one ground beef, one chicken, and one cheese. I did ask if they could make it spicy for me, and our waiter came back with one of the spiciest salsas I have ever tried! It was so delicious and flavorful, I loved that it tasted like they were roasted over an open fire. They incorporated that sauce with my green enchilada sauce, which made my dish so mouthwatering delicious. My partner got a chicken chimichangas, and while I do stay away from them, I was pleasantly surprised with the delicious flavors. Their rice and beans were so well prepared, and I liked how they tied the chimichanga meal so well. They gave us fresh warm, just out of the fryer chips, and salsa. I will say, the salsa did taste like it had canned tomatoes incorporated in it, which is not my favorite if I am being honest. I did mix that salsa with the super spicy salsa, which paired very nicely. Lastly,I thoroughly enjoyed the very relaxed atmosphere, and I look forward to coming back in the summer to sit out in the deck and enjoy their margaritas.“
“Food was amazing! Had some Tacos Asada con Queso, Pollo, and a bunch of pastries and bread from the bakery. It looks like a small place, but has plenty of seating. Lunch for 2 was less than what I would expect from a larger chain. Don't forget Panaderia! Es muy bueno! Took me back to the days of walking the market in Juarez. Definitely a kid in a candy shop moment for me. Thank you, Tacos 46 and Panaderia!“
“The food here is the best Mexican I have had at any restaurant. Everything was delivered to the table hot and tasty. The chips and salsa are a great starter. The service was efficient if not overly friendly though I was not offered a soda refill. I had to ask and the 2 go cup like the food portions were much smaller than any other Mexican restaurant I have visited. Even though they are stingy with portions, the flavor made up for it so I sit here again 3 days later for more. I highly recommend.“
“Our food was delicious and service was excellent. The guacamole was very fresh and very tasty. Huge portions. Lots of options for my kids, including breakfast. I cannot express how huge, and delicious, the pictured tlayupa(?) was.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for the kids, including fries and traditional breakfast all day.“
“Most of the staff seem to speak very little English but the food is absolutely worth the slight added effort to communicate. Every time I've been there everyone had been friendly and patient. Well worth the stop. Tacos and tamales are all excellent. The quesadilla I got for a coworker was a little disappointing - no crispy cheese around the edge. That is the worst failure I've experienced in several years of eating there. The tacos pastor don't have pineapple which kind of surprised me, but they're really tasty so I keep ordering them.Dietary restrictions: In years of eating there with celiac I have never had a problem with either the tamales or tacos. I doubt that the phrase "gluten free" will help you any with the staff, but I'll personally vouch for the corn tortillas and tamales.“
“This is the Mexican place I have been searching for! If you love authentic and great seafood get here in a hurry. They have an amazing menu that covers all the bases like crab, shrimp, scallops, oysters, octopus and that was just in my ceviche. I had food envy for every plate I saw come out of the kitchen. They have my favorite thick crunchy chips not the bagged ones and amazing guacamole. The chips also come with a red salsa, a whitefish salsa and the green salsa that you better make sure to have your drink before trying it. Margaritas are very tasty and they have many other drink options. The paella is huge and was covered in seafood. That will be my next purchase. Most of the meals I saw would be good for a couple more when you get home. It's an unassuming place on 38th St. But don't pass it by! Also if you don't pay attention and leave your phone like I did they'll take good care of it for you. Thanks to staff for their help!!“
“This place is consistently good. Some of my favs are the mangonada, strawberry aqua Fresca and the elote. They have so many different options for ice cream and even popsicles. I like that they are patient with you when you're curious about different flavors (queso and tequila) and they let you try them. It can get quite busy but the line moves pretty fast“
“The chicken Acapulco has been my order since time immemorial and it still does it for me. We usually try to sit in the bar to avoid to children but it's chill regardless. I have so many good memories from this restaurant it almost feels weird to review it but I went last Friday and while the portions felt a little smaller (inflation probz) it was still plenty of food and delicious. Order the queso- you won't regret it.“
“Hubby and I tried this place for the first time and were very impressed. We were able to be seated at the bar right away and had quick friendly service. We had the house margarita, chicken chimichanga, and chicken fajitas.. all were excellent!! We'll definitely return.“
