“Amazing food! Had the Rob Deep Dish, my fam got their own pizza and sandwiches they also loved. I asked for a substitution of bacon to replace the ham. They had a mix up and forgot to put the substitution in, which is fine -things happen. Unexpectedly, they comped me the messed up pizza and made me a whole new deep dish! Maybe I’m from an area with crappy restaurants but being left the food AND getting a replacement was a breath of fresh air! Will definitely return to eat some more delicious food“

“We are frequent patrons of DKD in New Albany and have been to the Louisville location a few times. We love the food, atmosphere, and attentiveness of the staff.Kid-friendliness: We recently celebrated a birthday here, reserving a table on the outdoor patio. We were later told we had to move to another table because the outdoor patio was technically "bar" seating and we had a 6 month old baby with us. -- It was confusing and odd as the Exchange right across the street allows children in their outdoor patio area adjacent to the bar. I wish this would have been made clear or we could get some explanation on why this area is not suitable for our party. There is side street access to this area so its not like it is "only accessible" through the bar. - It was odd. Just thought I'd share. Other than this issue we usually have a great experience at DKD.“

Are server was Tabby and she was attentive and knowledgeable.Some great news for root beer lovers They brew their own and have many local beers.The place was small but clean.We enjoyed the pretzel bites and they have amazing beer cheese.We ordered a small pepperoni, which was very good. “Everyone really enjoyed their tacos. We all tried different ones and they were all really good. We had several of their margaritas to that were only $5 and they had plenty of alcohol in them. The elotes was tasty, too. The chips and dips sampler was ok, with the salsa being the best of the 3 dips“

The service was just right - efficient without hovering. The only disappointment was a mocktail - refreshingly pink with cut lime but the taste was bland. Look forward to returning.“
