“Visited a couple of times while visiting family in Baxter Springs. The food and service were excellent. The place was clean. Would diffently eat there again. Highly recommend.”
“Small town kitchen feel with steakhouse quality food. Ribeye was melt in your mouth cooked to perfection. Truckers there is a gravel lot across the street where I found parking. Definitely a place to bookmark in the gps.”
“We ate here after church! Food is excellent and service was overall fast and good.I'd recommend the queso and the tacos.Take your family here! Probably the best family restaurant in the area.? ? ? ? ?”
“She about dumped my drink with those ridiculous fingernails. Carried used drinks with her fingernails inside the cups then went and stirred food on the buffet. Fingernails that long are pretty but don't belong in food service.”
“Stopped for lunch passing through Baxter Springs. Bricks & Brews Woodfire Grill and Pub proved to be a good choice. Typical small town establishment with good home cooked food, 9 commercial beers on tap, and friendly locals enjoying lunch and a beer. Server was efficient, food came promptly, and the beer was cold. Portions were generous. We enjoyed the Cavatappi Pasta and Greek Salad.”
“We found this place on our way home from long weekend trip. We decided to take a scenic route and drive until we got hungry. Well I am so very glad we got hungry when this was on our map b/c I'm already planning my next visit. The whole place just has a cool vibe. The decor definitely adds to the whole experience. There's so much to look at while you're waiting. It was a Tuesday afternoon after normal lunch hours so it wasn't very busy when we were there. Now to the part that really matters...the food!!! Hands down the burgers were some of the best I've had. I had the Cowtown Kicker with tots. The burger was cooked perfect and seasoned just right. I asked for the grilled jalapeños to be on the side. My sister had the big Hawaiian. I had to still a bite of hers too and it was equally as good with the Hawaiian sauce and grilled pineapple. Everything we had was great really. Can't wait to take a little road trip back to Baxter Springs to hang out here again.”
“Best Chinese food around. The staff is always friendly. The food is always good and I get exactly what I ordered. Not much on the menu I haven’t tried, all being good. The crab rangoons are always a must when ordering a meal. Quick service, friendly staff. It is not a Chinese buffet. Small dine in or you can carry out.”
“The restaurant was clean and the Owner is a nice guy...Remembers my Mom every time she comes up. One of the best Pizza Hut pizzas I have had around the country!!”
“Hands down the best Mexican food around! Loved it since they’ve came into Baxter by Star Lube! Carmen has been my best friend since high school. Amazing family, amazing food, and the best staff around. What more could you ask for?!?! If you eat anywhere else then you’re missing out.Kid-friendliness: Very good with my kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy way in.”
“The woman that worked there was super friendly very very nice and the chicken teriyaki sandwich I got was amazing I only put spinach and black olive on it with the sweet onion teriyaki sauce on Italian herb and cheese bread and I got to say it was amazing!”
“It’s Sonic. Everything went as expected. The folks at this location are super friendly and very expedient.Dietary restrictions: They are upfront with the calories per item/meal and have all data sheets available.”
“I really liked the older McDonalds buildings so much better. Hamburglar and Ronald McDonald and the brighter colors, yellow and red, gave McDonalds so much more character and warmth. The grey buildings have such a cold feeling. Thanks, my opinion and several of our friends and relatives have similar comments.”
“The food is good and the service is welcoming! Parking can become limited, as well as dining space; and handicapped parking seems non-existent. This was a date night, but I was dismayed to pay a ticket for $40 for two burger baskets. I would not suggest this place for affordability, vegan menu options, nor families with children (due to limited space).”
“It's a food truck but man is the food good, love sushi and hibachi, the sauces are really good. The young ladies that work in there are always so sweety and friendly. Must try! I am not one who eats from food Trucks just weird of me I guess but we tried it and I am not mad ”
“My boyfriend and I arrived at 8:30 on a Sunday night to eat dinner after a long day at work. We were greeted and sat. We ordered our food, staff was super friendly and food was delicious. After finishing eating and paying we see they have a super large group entering the building. I then googled their hours, shocked to see such a large party choosing to dine in so late. That's when we noticed that they were actually closed at 8pm. We're assuming now that, that was a booked private event that they were staying open late for and just decided to let us in, and feed us anyways and never mentioned so to us. We just thought that was super groovy of them. Lovely date night. We will be back for sure ?”
“Had a really good time and the drinks are affordable. Had a Vegas bomb that was really good. They have pizza, pool tables and corn hole games. Really a great place in a small town.”
“This place is mine and my wife favorite breakfast spot! We love running away for a breakfast date on the weekend and grabbing our favorite dish! The ladies that work there are all so awesome! Always friendly and make you feel just like a little diner should make you feel, at home!!”
“It seems like every time our family celebrates a birthday, we ALL choose Mi Torito! Every time we have a party of 12-17 people and the staff are more than happy to ensure that we are taken care of from beginning to end with great food and service.”
“One of the landmark locations onto the Route66. If you like the Cars movie, then its one of the places to visit. There's a board that showcases that mater character being inspired by a old tow truck. There's couple of other landmarks related to Route 66 nearbyWould say one of the quite and simple places i have visited ,recommended while in area.”
“This place was great. Unfortunately the lobby was closed but there was a picnic bench outside to enjoy our food. The food was tasty and affordable and the staff were friendly.”
“I love this coffee shop and visit multiple times everytime I’m in the area!! The owners are the best and sweetest people you’ll ever meet!! The chef makes delicious homemade food and the drinks are outstanding!! I recommend the cinnamon rolls, the biscuits and gravy, the breakfast sandwiches, the chili, the goulash and potato soup!! For drinks, as someone who doesn’t drink coffe there are tons of non-coffee options, the strawberry peach smoothie is to die for!! If you do drink coffee, you literally can’t go wrong with any of the drinks! The owners love to come out and chat and are always so friendly and welcoming! You can find tons of tourists from all over the world and people enjoying a communal puzzle in the front of the coffee shop! Perfect for everyone and great to stay awhile or grab a quick bite!! Definitely worth a stop! I love it and the owners so much!! ?Vegetarian options: Many breakfast options totally vegetarian and so many dishes can be made without meat, just ask!Parking: Tons of free parking spotsKid-friendliness: The owners absolutely love children and welcome kids with open arms!Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on one level and very even flooring and there is a small ramp to access the door to enter”
“Went with some friends. We played pool (me for the first time) got drinks, and some super yummy food. I'm not the "bar-type" of person, or one for alcohol, but it was fun either way. The smoking did bother me a little at first, but once I got used to it, it wasn't too bad. Great service too.”
“Parking: Plenty of space to parkKid-friendliness: The kid helpers there were so professional and cute. We visited our whole visit. We tipped well. They were not employees just helping grandma by choice.Wheelchair accessibility: I mean it's kind of a tiny area so wheelchairs aren't ideal for this place but not impossible to make room. No stairs”
“You hear stories from folks and see it in Hollywood movies all the time. You know, the stories of perfectly poured beers that go down smooth, while you listen to solid hits poor from the jukebox. The type of place where customers are treated like family and they really do call you by name. If you want a chance to step back in time and experience how things were back In the Good Old Days, then I highly recommend you call up your crew, jump in your ride, and punch Hogs & Hot Rods into the GPS, and take a cruse down historic Rout 66. Come and spend a few hours with the BEST bartenders in the four states area!Come join, and be part of the family!!”
“Excellent food! Very polite staff. Taco Tues! $1.00 Tacos!!!¡Vegetarian options: Just order your dish minus meat products. Like a taco w/ only lettuce, tomatoes and a shell with salsa. I'm not a vegetarian but it sounds simple enough ?”
“The owners work the place, which is what I love supporting. Family atmosphere and in Galena everybody knows everybody. Husband & I split Hawaiian Fajuta, fabulous, and had 2 $1.99 margaritas each.”
“Great place. Fast service. Lobby room dining. Grocery available. 2 piece chicken strip snack was great. Kids are welcome.Parking: Store front.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible”
“C'est un magasin à voir sur la route 66. Et le monsieur qui tient cette boutique fait des sandwichs extra et c'est un magasin qui a été reconnu et protégé. Il a encore son plafond en métal.”
“This place is an absolute gem. The drinks are delicious, the employees are super friendly and the atmosphere is awesome. If you're driving through Baxter Springs you definitely need to stop by, get you a delicious coffee or Lotus drink and chat with the employees.”
