You may not notice it every time you drive down Madison towards K-15 but you would not believe this little locally owned home town brewery is tucked neatly away right in the center of the beating heart of Derby. With Madison avenue park across the street and Las Vaquitas and Nature's Gifts within walking distance I can't imagine a better place to be in Derby KS on a summer evening.”

“The server we had was friendly and very attentive to our needs. The food was excellent. Their bacon is the BEST! I liked the onion rings and the BLT that I had for lunch. I will come back.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp at their back door.”

“The food was good and the service was even better. We cam in with what is usually plenty of time for us to eat before closing but between a fussy baby and the abundance of food we ended up staying past closing. The staff was warm and friendly the entire time and never rushed us and was just so great. Would recommend and will be going back to try even more food!”

“C.J was an amazing server. He was going around refilling peoples drinks, taking customers trays, cleaning tables right when customer's left. I was sitting there while my son was playing in the play area and I had half of a wrap left over, he asked if I wanted a bag for my wrap or an ice water while I waited for my son to finish up playing. You never see that type of amazing service at a fast food restaurant.”

“Good food. I enjoyed the history displayed in the pictures on the walls. The service was great and free dessert at the finish. New silverware would be the one thing I would like to see. Some shine is good in an older place. ?”

“Our food server was Patricia and she was fantastic. Best server I've had in a long time.I had Alfredo Chicken off the lunch menu. The chicken was a little more money, no problem.The portions are smaller for the lunch menu, but it was just the right amount for lunch.”

“Nothing special here. Take was hot. Plentiful serving sizes. House fajitas were good with beef chicken and shrimp, accompanied by plentiful toppings. They do have Tex Mex selections. Salsa was unremarkable..”

“There are several excellent waiters and waitresses. Others, not so much. One of which should not be working on Wed. (free pie day with purchase.) The male manager is great. The female one is not so nice. Again I think older people are irritating to these people. We attend every Wed. afternoon. From 4 - 9 of us. One waitress is always short and rude with us. Constantly huffing, grimacing and short with us. I tip well everywhere I go. This waitress gets the minimum from me only recently due to her never changing attitude when we are there. When I mentioned to the female manager that this waitress does not like us, she made excuses that the waitress was covering a large area. This manager placed us there with knowledge that it was to be 8-9 people.!? Majority of us are polite and friendly. One goes here a lot other than Wed. and she knows the people . But yesterday our waiter had left for the day, we tipped him early. This lady asked for her pie , to the female manager, . This manager said "I'm busy seating people , ask your waiter. " The waiter then came out and took care of her. We were surprised he was still there. If it is short handedness that creates this atmosphere, it is not the customers fault. We can find another place to meet weekly.”

“My two sons and I came here around 6 o'clock on a Saturday night. For such a small looking place from the outside, there is a good amount of seating inside, and it was very clean and I liked the look of the place. My youngest really liked the artwork on the walls.My sons ordered a Hibachi Beef, and the other the General Chicken, I had the Teriyaki Chicken. We all tried a little from each other's plates and liked all three dishes, the portion amount was also perfect, not too much, not too little. I highly suggest the Teriyaki Chicken, it is fantastic, we all three agreed it was the best of the bunch.I don't live in Derby, but we are often in the area and I have passed this place many times, this was the first time I actually gave the place a try. I am very glad I did! This is a great place, highly recommended.Parking: A good number of shared parking in front of the building with the place next to it. Plenty of parking in the stalls in the middle of the lot a bit further out from the building. We went on a Saturday night during typical dinner hours and still could find some parking in the stalls close to the building.”

“This was our first time eating here. We parked on the wrong side at first and thought it was closed. ??‍♀️? The door to enter is on the side with The Mattress Hub.The food was pretty good, and the menu had a lot of options. My husband said his Cuban sandwich had a little too much mustard but was still good.The skillet I had was good. I wouldn’t get it again just because it was a little too cheesy for my liking.Our server was very kind and patient. The atmosphere was calm and family oriented.”

Great handmade, right in front of you, delicious and nutritious pick me up drinks of tons of flavors. We were allowed to sample quite a few before settling on the coffee frozen with Carmel!If you live out that way, or just passing through, stop by and say "hi". “Had a nice lunch with my man while we waited for our car to be serviced. Walked out with tipsy and full for less than $30. Seating was clean and if you are going fast food this is it!Kid-friendliness: Safe, clean environment.”
