“We stopped by here today to show our kids the Cars and gas station. Our (almost 2 year old) son is obsessed with cars! He had so much fun. I below they were closed but just happened to be there when we stopped by and they STILL ran inside and got my kids some stickers and stamps to take home. Will definitely be back when they are open!”

“Red Onion Cafe has done an amazing job of making the situation of my wife's knee replacement surgery and overnight hospital confinement a much easier experience. The wonderful staff has gone above and beyond to provide food, not only for my wife's in room meals, but those of mine and my daughter. The food was delicious, every Red Onion employee was extremely helpful, and Red Onion's presence had a positive effect on the entire atmosphere of the hospital.
Every employee I dealt with put forth extra effort to make certain I was well cared for. When I ordered my first meals I was given a coupon for a discount on my next order and had had difficulty applying the coupon code in my phone app when ordering the evening meals. My cashier went to great lengths to make certain that the discount was applied when I completed the purchase. After returning to my wife's room where her evening meal had already been brought to her, I was giving my daughter her part of the food and the employee who had taken my order knocked on the door with some more of my food that I had inadvertently left behind in the Cafe. I am tremendously grateful to Red Onion for their excellent service and I really appreciate all they did for us.”

“Went for brunch with my best girlfriends on Sunday. First time here. Staff came outside to greet us and invited us in. We were greeted “good morning!”no less than 5 times before we even approached the register. Everyone in the kitchen was having a ball and the music was perfect to get us started for the day. Waitress who took our order was so sweet and kind while she explained the menu to us newbies. Chef brought out the food and helped us decide on a hot sauce. HOMEMADE AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS - great way to top off an already awesome meal. The food was perfect and plated beautifully. “I had the best latte and coffee I've had in ages! I am constrained to drink decaf and the owner was so accommodating he pulled the decaf shots until he was satisfied with the taste. I had the house favorite, Sweet and Salty, decaf with oat milk and sugar free. My husband had a Snickers and pronounced it excellent as well. The owner was very welcoming. We had great conversation while waiting for our drinks. And probably the most bottles of syrups I have ever seen in one location...sugar free counterparts for nearly every choice.
The ambiance was welcoming, child friendly and perfect for spending time sipping our brews. A definite 5⭐️ experience. We'll e loyal customers every time we visit Joplin. It's worth the drive.”
