I'm not much for crunchy bread (sorry Ju). If I'm at one of the other sandwich places and they ask me if I wanted it toasted I spit in disgust.What I come for is what's between the buns. With the right amount of salt, fat, acid, and a touch of heat every sandwich is a masterclass in balanced flavors. The sausages are authentic and excellent, and the Saturday grill outs draw a crowd, but the deli sandwiches inside are quietly my favorite part — the smoked turkey and house Swiss, on rye, is primo. A small specialty market inside has tons of hard-to-find German snacks, mustards, cheeses and more. Definitely recommended as a weekday or Saturday lunch spot as well as ahead of BBQs and tailgates.“

My only complaint is that they seem to have bought into the ridiculous tipping culture. “Had a coupon BOGO for the new store in Glenwood Plaza. Never ate at one. So tried it today. Had the Club Sub & Mikes Famous Philly. Wow...the Club Sub was huge! Very good, freshly sliced ham a& turkey, plenty of bacon. Dressed with lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickles & onions on wheat. Great sandwich! Huge! Great value for the $$$. Will eat that again! The Philly was decent. Ample shaved beef, grilled fresh, along with peppers and onions, and ample white american cheese for a good gooey to it. No added toppings. Had on the rosenary parm bread. Personally, I wish there would have been more peppers & onions on the sandwich. I should have asked for more, but didn't know if there would be an upcharge. Only downside IMO was red onions are better for sandwiches than white onions, and be nice to have a few more options on toppings, like maybe sliced bell peppers, and spinach as an alternative to the shredded lettuce. So, we will be back. Club Sub on my favorites list, but need to try the chicken philly & chicken bacon ranch philly. Got a couple coupons left in the postcard, $2 off order and 25% off order, so will use those. If anyone has an extra postcard mailer and don't like Jersey Mike's, IM me and I'll give you my address ..I'll take those coupons...lol... Overall, very pleased. That is not the case with this restaurant! Whether I order online, or in person, they give the same service and make the same quality of food. Today I ordered online and asked for extra extra extra pickles, and they gave me a BAG of pickles on top of the many pickles they put on the sandwich. They also left me a cute note on my bag! LOL! It is located inside an office building on the south side of the first floor but they aren't allowed to have a large sign to show where they are. Mostly they cater to office workers in the building, so the ambiance was rather stark. Service was walk up and order the food, which they deliver to your table. Drinks were self serve. Food was good. I ordered a French dip sandwich, and the sandwich was good. My friend ordered a turkey with avocado and he said it was really good. I thought it looked better than mine to be honest. Price was what I would expect from a deli. Overall I would recommend and eat at again.“

“This is my favorite chain sub sandwich place. They make great sandwiches. I've only tried their cold sandwiches and I love them. Usually I get #13 The Original Italian but there are times I venture and get something else. It still tastes great. Sometimes this location runs out of bread so they close early. I feel like on the days I'm really craving a good sandwich but I go one hour before they close and there is the handwritten sign saying ran out of bread. But it's okay as long as I can make it to the next closest Jersey Mike's location before they close. I have yet to hear anyone disliking these sandwiches. They are consistently good and really great bread. I love Jersey Mike's.“

“Me and my dad chose to eat at McAlister's Because I have a meeting on Friday at that location. I thought the place was neat and The food was the bomb I had the Turkey Jalapeño Crunch. It was not overly big but it was filling with all that came with it and the mac and cheese. My dad had Italian I think and He said it was good but he probably wouldn't not eat it again Because it was really messy but I think he enjoyed it. The bathrooms were clean. The Strawberry lemonade was legit and the employees their were nice and professional. My only complaint is that the signs say "Order sandwiches here" but no one is there. I finally walked across the restaurant to where orders are picked up and was able to order there. A sign directing one there would have been helpful, or perhaps one of the two people standing there could have beckoned us over. Other than that, it was a very satisfying experience.“
“Planet Sub has been my go to favorite hot sub shop since I was a kid. I absolutely love "the experience" sub, it has grilled chicken, bacon, pepperoni, pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, cream cheese and a chipotle sauce. The bread is homemade daily and it shows because I've never had anything like it before. They offer two different sizes of sandwich which included the half which is about 8 inches and the whole which is about 16 inches. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach and I think I can eat a whole but I ended up with half a sandwich left. Keep that in mind when ordering. Overall this is a must try sandwich shop if you haven't been before.“
