“Ate here last night and this restaurant is a "must try!" I had the 12 oz. KC Strip, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, and... for dessert, apple caramel bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was to die for! The atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, but aside from that, it was delightful!”

I have been to this place a few times. But not recently. I think it's going through an ownership change or management change. The menu I was familiar with, shawarma & lamb etc. dishes are still there.

New this visit was a separate Moroccan menu. Having had Moroccan food elsewhere I was excited to try and was not disappointed with the lamb tagine which came served with this huge Moroccan salad included. The salad was arranged beautifully around a patch of hummus . It included what you would expect plus some grilled veggies . The lamb was served in a typical Moroccan covered dish. The cover was whisked away by the waiter upon serving, revealing a lamb dish prepared with hard boiled eggs, prunes, sitting in the pool Moroccan spiced juices Food 5/5 ⭐

I stopped in for a very early dinner (for me it was actually a very very late lunch). On arrival the place was practically empty due to the hour. I walked up to the counter & I was just stared at so I thought I'd ask if they were serving & could I have a table & they pointed to a bunch of tables that were open so I sat myself. Okay, so maybe not the warm friendly Midwest vibe that we're accustomed to 🤔

Soon the male server showed up with the menus. We managed to communicate even though his English language skills were very limited. I told myself this is a plus cuz it means it's authentic 😏

Ultimately after consultation, I went for a pot of Moroccan hot tea which I never received. Never got water either come to think of it.

On my visit, there were only men (3 - 4) working in the restaurant They must have been tired or had a very busy day cuz they spent the entire time I was there sitting at a table conversing. Unfortunately with the loud TVs in the background & the fact that they were speaking their native tongue, I don't know what they were talking about - best guess soccer err... futbol

I finished most of my delicious meal. It was definitely filling. It was also served with a side of Moroccan bread.

When I sat at the table I noticed they had a plate, a glass & some condiments on the table. When I tried moving some of those items the plastic covered tablecloth was sticking to everything. I don't know if that was because of whatever chemicals they were using or they needed better cleaning methods. The whole vibe was wow! They're really taking this authentic thing to the next level. I felt like I was visiting a 3rd world country without having to spend thousands of dollars

I'm going to wait a month, I'm definitely not quite ready to cross this one off my list cuz the food was so good. Hopefully they'll add some females to the staff as they've had in the past cuz I think they do a slightly better job in terms of customer service. And maybe use a different cleaning product - I recommend soapy water with vinegar”

“I started out eating at a Pegah's in Shawnee. I was thrilled when they opened the one in Lenexa and eat there on a regular basis. I had breakfast there last Sunday and had perfect food (Combo Breakfast) and service. Tonight, I went for dinner. They were pretty busy but I was immediately seated in a quiet corner in the back. My server, Ali, brought me water per my request and took my order. She was hustling from table to table, but always assured me my order would be ready soon. A wonderful young man named Zack noticed me sitting with water and rushed over to make sure I had been helped. Soon after, Ali brought my chicken fried chicken. She was always smiling and checked on me a handful of times. The food, as always, was DELICIOUS! Thank you for your delicious food and wonderful staff. I recommend Pegah's to everyone!”

“We’re in town visiting for the weekend and came across Maps. We enjoyed our visit there this morning. We loved the atmosphere and the esthetic of shop. They had a great variety of drink options. We ordered the honey and Mexican lattes along with kids steamers. The honey was sweet and delicious; the Mexican was just the right amount of spice you’re looking for in a coffee and the kids steamers were the perfect temp for our girls. Our youngest liked it so much she forked out every last drop of the milk. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town visiting. 💜”

“Awesome place! I find it just peachy. While the waits almost felt like they took 26 and a half minutes, although I know that's just my impatient self, the food they served was awesome! It smelled of warm root beer, the seats felt like fluffy towels, and best of all: they sold donuts! Ha, well, I'm just exaggerating again. I like the Bavarian Cream filled donuts.

The service was awesome. Comparing this to other restaurants is almost like comparing weasels to... I kinda lost my train of thought. It's really good, anyhow! A drink only costed about a nickel! And if you thought it couldn't get better, it's only half a block down the street!

“My girlfriend and I hit up Minsky’s a few days ago and, as always, it was a top-tier night. We were lucky to have Shawn and Meghan as our servers—top-notch duo! My girlfriend went all-in on the deep dish with black olives, mushrooms, and Canadian bacon (her first deep dish experience, by the way), and she was immediately converted. Meanwhile, I kept it classic with a house salad, loaded with blue cheese dressing that I’m convinced is straight from the dressing gods. Seriously, Minsky’s blue cheese might be the best I’ve ever tasted. We ended up chatting with Shawn and Meghan, and honestly, it just made the night that much more awesome!”

They have the best chips and salsa of any Mexican Restaurants when me and my friends go we end up getting like 6 plates of chips and at least 3 refills of salsa each. The food is also fire the pork carnitas are Lightning in a bottle an amazing explosion of Flavor the carnitas tend to explode all over my hands, but that’s a me issue. Their pricing is also very good. I would recommend this place to all who are looking for great Mexican food!”

“Checked out the place because I loved what I had seen online. I was greeted promptly and efficiently at the hostess stand. I was quickly seated. I reviewed the menu and my server greeted me quickly. I asked her for her recommendation. She suggested the bourbon glaze burger. The burger was juicy flavorful and well seasoned. The server was available but not pushy. The manager also checked to be sure things were satisfactory. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely return. If i were to make one suggestion, it would to not put all the garnish on the bottom bun.”

I sat down in the coffee shop area while i waited on my coffee order and to my surprise NO ONE took the time to come and say hello or try to get to know me like most people in some churches do. We went on Monday, had such an amazing dinner that we went back tonight (Tuesday). Our servers both nights were beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I forgot Mondays server name but tonight was Marcos and he was the absolute best! I had the tortilla soup both nights and I just want a gallon of it, the best I have ever had. The toppings added to it overall, and the fresh avocado was so tasty. Really, get it, you won't be the same after. Is getting it 3 days in a row excessive? Hmmmm Taco Tuesday tacos $1 each, ground beef or chicken. The ground beef is well seasoned, and delicious. The avocado salsa is another must try. This is a must and my new favorite place.”

“I'd ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a vegetarian pizza. The pineapple pieces are microscopic and the pizza tasted quite salty. The vegetarian pizza has fresh vegetables and is an ok value. The employees at Papa Murphy's were friendly and helpful when picking up the online order.

Vegetarian options: The vegetables look to be freshly sliced which is what is expected. Perhaps an option to add red potatoes might be possible. Be sure to check the sodium content of the pizzas.”

“This listing is incorrect. This is NOT a Mexican restaurant. It's a South American restaurant, which has a very different flavor profile. Here their primary dish is the Papusa. Papusas are like corn cakes, but instead of corn, the cakes are made from plantains; plantains look like bananas, but taste like potatoes. Each papusa is stuffed with chicken, beef, or pork. Papusas are served with a South American slaw, which is made with vinegar rather than a dairy bar like coleslaw. Very nice servers but spread too thin. Also, don't go on a hot day. My wife and I went on a 90+ day, and their air conditioner wasn't working.”

The other night we ordered up a cheese and pepperoni (look at those delicious huge slabs) and a Margherita with basil chicken and fresh basil added. A side of their baked meatballs and 2 orders of cheese garlic bread. OMG, we were delighted! Crispy crust, bold flavors in the pizza sauce, absolutely delicious pizza and those meatballs were perfect texture and taste. Tasted homemade, I can't confirm, but try for yourself and you'll see. We hadn't had Topp'd since before the last 2 years of shutdowns, wish we had not waited so long. Thank you Topp'd, one of our new favorite pizzas in KC and conveniently located close to home at Lenexa Public Market”
