“Ate here last night and this restaurant is a "must try!" I had the 12 oz. KC Strip, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, and... for dessert, apple caramel bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was to die for! The atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, but aside from that, it was delightful!”

Appetizers were served before drinks, checks were delivered and and an attempt to get my husband's plate before he was done eating. The waitstaff was very nice and she kept saying “no rush” but we felt very rushed. The need to turn over the table seemed more important than our comfort.”

“We used Kate Smith Soirée for our wedding desserts and we have no regrets! We had a small wedding cake for us, and cupcakes for the rest of the guests. The process from start to finish was amazing, we set up a tasting and were impressed with all of the flavors. It was hard to narrow it down! Once we chose the flavors, we allowed Kate to handle it from there. We were able to rent out the cake stand and cupcake displays which made it very easy to return. She had everything set up the day of the wedding and it was beautiful. Our guests loved the cupcakes! Highly recommend Kate Smith Soirée for your desserts!”

“Walleye Quality Issues: breading: tastes fishy & rancid, fishbones.

My friend insisted we go to Culver's to get the walleye; which is seasonal. I love the mild flavor of Walleye; have caught & eaten it often.

She and her husband got the dinner. I got the sandwich. My first bite was awful; had a rancid/fishy taste. I split the fillet in two and took a bite of just the fish (no breading); the fish itself was good. As I was removing all of the breading from the fillet and bun, my friend said her fish tasted terrible. I suggested she remove the breading from all of the fillets; hers & her husband's.
As we were eating the naked fillets, we noticed her husband's plate had fishbones and started searching for and removing bones from his plate (hoping he hadn't ingested any) Neither her, nor my, fillets had bones in them.

We usually enjoy our Culver's visits but this time, it appears:
#1. Someone didn't clean the frying oil before reusing it.
#2. Someone didn't store the oil properly after it was used.
Recommend:
Staff: training on frying oil use and storage.
Supervisors: confirm proper follow-through.
Customers: vigilantly search for fishbones.”

“I started out eating at a Pegah's in Shawnee. I was thrilled when they opened the one in Lenexa and eat there on a regular basis. I had breakfast there last Sunday and had perfect food (Combo Breakfast) and service. Tonight, I went for dinner. They were pretty busy but I was immediately seated in a quiet corner in the back. My server, Ali, brought me water per my request and took my order. She was hustling from table to table, but always assured me my order would be ready soon. A wonderful young man named Zack noticed me sitting with water and rushed over to make sure I had been helped. Soon after, Ali brought my chicken fried chicken. She was always smiling and checked on me a handful of times. The food, as always, was DELICIOUS! Thank you for your delicious food and wonderful staff. I recommend Pegah's to everyone!”

“We’re in town visiting for the weekend and came across Maps. We enjoyed our visit there this morning. We loved the atmosphere and the esthetic of shop. They had a great variety of drink options. We ordered the honey and Mexican lattes along with kids steamers. The honey was sweet and delicious; the Mexican was just the right amount of spice you’re looking for in a coffee and the kids steamers were the perfect temp for our girls. Our youngest liked it so much she forked out every last drop of the milk. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town visiting. 💜”

“Came in on a superbowl Sunday and it was quiet ish, the bartender, Ryan was great though, engaging, great service, dealt with my indecisiveness quickly. I had a great time just chilling on a quiet night. Came back Tuesday and it was lively, plenty of friendly locals. Ryan remembered my name and what I was drinking. My hometown dive bars don't serve food, but I felt at home, which is rare.

“We were so hungry when we arrived at Holy Land Cafe. It was late afternoon noon on one of our BRISK winter days. We walked in the door and or welcomed with the aroma of wonderful food coming from the kitchen. We chose to sit in a booth not too far from the entrance. The staff attended to us almost immediately. My husband ordered the garlic chicken dinner and I ordered the falafel sandwich. We both had the lentil soup as the accompaniment to our meal. The soup was served quickly, it was hot and delicious. Just what we needed to warm ourselves up. The food was served very quickly, And it was also delicious. My husband's meal I believe cost $15, And it was a substantial portion of food. The chunks if chicken breast were covered in a garlic and cream sauce I believe with maybe saffron in it, Served with rice, veggies ,and Pita bread. My falafel sandwich was amazing as well. There are 3 things that I judge mediterranean restaurants on one is their hummus the other is their falafel and the third is their pita bread. I combined all 3 things in my sandwich, And I was not disappointed. We couldn't believe we had never been to this restaurant before and we certainly will make sure that we return again. As we were paying for our meal we decided to get the pistachio baklava. They have several varieties of baklava and the pistachio one was a hit. Looking forward to trying the other varieties on another visit.”

The amazing cookies were ready when I walked in 10 minutes later. They were very busy with other customers and managed to greet me and give me my order. Irene was so kind and helpful. I think this must be a prerequisite bc all of the staff was exceptional! The cookies are like no others! It’s a win win at this location! ⭐️x a million!”

They have the best chips and salsa of any Mexican Restaurants when me and my friends go we end up getting like 6 plates of chips and at least 3 refills of salsa each. I asked her for her recommendation. She suggested the bourbon glaze burger. The burger was juicy flavorful and well seasoned. The server was available but not pushy. The manager also checked to be sure things were satisfactory. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely return. If i were to make one suggestion, it would to not put all the garnish on the bottom bun.”

“80th Street location We usually go to the one on 151st but saw a review in a group and this one was so cute decided to try it. We went on Monday, had such an amazing dinner that we went back tonight (Tuesday). Our servers both nights were beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I forgot Mondays server name but tonight was Marcos and he was the absolute best! I had the tortilla soup both nights and I just want a gallon of it, the best I have ever had. The toppings added to it overall, and the fresh avocado was so tasty. Really, get it, you won't be the same after. Is getting it 3 days in a row excessive? Hmmmm Taco Tuesday tacos $1 each, ground beef or chicken. The ground beef is well seasoned, and delicious. The avocado salsa is another must try. This is a must and my new favorite place.”

Vegetarian options: The vegetables look to be freshly sliced which is what is expected. Perhaps an option to add red potatoes might be possible. Be sure to check the sodium content of the pizzas.”

(1) Tasty food -the fries were crunchy and fluffy and flavorful, and the burger was juicy and plump and had a good amount but not too much of sauce
(2) The prices are very fair
(3) The interior is not too loud, though that might would change if there were more people
(4) We asked for the BLT to have extra-crispy bacon, and they did a good job at that
(5) The portion size is just about right

Cons:
(1) The chairs are in bad shape and ripped with stuffing spilling out in some cases

I am a dialysis Patient and I needed to go to the restroom before leaving. I placed my basket in the usual spot out of the way and went to the restroom. Got home and noticed an item is missing. Please check your security cameras to see who stole my pink Vince Camino turtleneck sweater. I was wearing a white sweater with a navy blue stripe and black pants with a lavender hair wrap. “This is my go-to coffee shop. The staff is amazing! The options to customize drinks are extensive. I wish there were benches or a physical shop to hang out, but DBs are drive-thru only. And there are parks nearby if you're looking to sit & sip 😌☕️”

Marla and the staff took great care of us with prompt service and delicious food. The Blue Moose is a great choice for any group coming over from the Garmin Soccer Complex. There's still a self-serve condiment station for ketchup, mustard, and relish, and later I discovered that now you can grab onions and croutons prepackaged at the pick-up counter.Tried the Cold Brew Latte Freeze, a basic blended latte served on tap from a slushy machine. (The Mocha version is the same plus chocolate syrup; no other flavor options.) Not life changing, but a fine option for a dose of sweet chilled caffeine.”

My coworker and I visited this place yesterday and it made our day. The gentleman behind the counter was happy, personable, and just put a smile on everyone's face. I heard him call his regulars by their names. I heard him ask each person how their day was and it was said with genuine affection. There aren't many places that have that kind of atmosphere anymore and to go into a business when you're on lunch and you are greeted with that kind of vibe, is rare. We repeatedly had to ask for the same things over and over and would even see our server chatting with people at the bar instead of bringing a drink, or the check etc. Then she would forget what we asked for. Rinse and repeat. I would recommend the place for sure if the servers were decent. And maybe we got the one bad one. But man, it was frustrating. Good food though!”
