What can I say, I love Tiki Taco. I was first introduced to Tiki Taco last summer. My cousin and I had just wrapped up taking our girls to the zoo and thought we'd pop into their location on Troost for a better lunch than what we could find at the Zoo. I remember being pleasantly surprised by the fun flavors, the reasonable price, and the really vibrant colors of this fast casual spot. I made an impromptu decision to eat lunch here after shopping with my toddler. The staff was extremely friendly and kind not only to me, but to my daughter as well. The cashier gave me AMAZING taco recommendations- the birria taco and Thai chicken were so good! When my toddler got a random wild hair and swiped my tacos off the table and onto the floor before I was finished, the chef immediately noticed and went back to make me another taco at no cost- even though it was our fault....read full review

We met some friends there who had been there previously and recommended it. The food was pretty good, but because the walls are ceramic tile and the floor is concrete the place is very noisy. There were some children in there that were pretty loud and their voices echoed. So we didn't like that, but the food was good and we enjoyed that along with seeing friends that we hadn't seen in a while.
