“Went on April 14 for their Sunday Brunch because of reviews that describe "Bloody Mary" bar. Did read on their website that their Brunch has a "Bloody Mary" bar. We were disappointed that they actually DO NOT have one. Maybe our definition of "Bloody Mary" bar where patrons serve themselves and build their ideal Bloody Mary with provided mixes topped with provided garnishes is erroneous? But they do serve good individual Bloody Marys' with fixings. They also make a green Bloody Mary but tasted more like a green juice. We also ate here. Prices were a bit high but the food was very tasty! The Shrimp and Grits, Duck Hash and Crab Cake Benedict all had unique flavors. The Duck Hash was on the sweet side. Instead of serving rolls prior to your entree, Atchafalaya served mini cornbread muffins with their special butter which was delish! We asked for seconds :DReservations are good to have but they accommodated us without one. Just had to wait 30-45 minutes but they do have seating outside for that wait. Bring a hat for shade if a hot sun is shining! Hostess and wait staff were very cordial. With a full house, it can be a bit noisy and busy in their quaint establishment but atmosphere felt comfortable. The "live music" was an added nice touch!Don't know if we would go back again because of prices. There are many "Brunch" restaurants to choose from. Wish they still had our definition of a "Bloody Mary" bar. That would bring us back!“

“Great food, great price and even better service. We were uncertain what we wanted and Lisa got us to come in as we were looking at the menu outside and didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend a drink and seafood here. Welcoming atmosphere and such sweet staff.“

“If you are a breakfast person, you NEED to check this place out. Right as you come in your greeted by their wonderful display of baked goods. The host and wait staff are amicable and courteous. The restaurant itself is very well lit with ambient light from the ceiling to floor windows and nice Edison bulb lighting. The food is excellent, every plate coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. I highly recommend the crab cheese appetizer and the salmon Benedict. And of course, can’t go wrong with the homemade biscuits. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town.“

“Layla is a sweet and friendly service. She made our first experience at Daisy Mae fun and memorable. She provided excellent service and went above and beyond to ensure my family had everything they needed while they dine in. The food here was excellent, and the drinks are strong.“

“*** UPDATE***Made it back. 7 years later, I remembered how much I liked this place. I'm glad to see it still standing and it seems popular. The food is just as good as I remember. Hopefully I can make it back to NOLA sooner than another 7 years, to come back. But either way, it deserves all its success. 10/10.Fantastic food! Definitely will be back here. All the meat was super tender and delicious.“

“Above all, you MUST order the seared scallops and artichoke appetizer. Fan-freaking-tactic! The Black Manhattan is excellent — except is was stirred long enough so it was nearly lukewarm when brought to the table. Great flavor, but disappointed at how warm it was. (An extra point for Luxardo cherries. Seriously. How can a restaurant claim they serve cocktails if they don’t use Luxardo cherries????)“

“We were recommended to Elizabeth’s by a friend and thankfully we went early in our visit to New Orleans, because we ate breakfast here every day of our trip! From the incredible food, one of the best spicy margaritas, and their welcoming, friendly, staff. Thank you for the great meals and memories!“

“Had an event here on Feb 27th for a group of about 70. The space was decorated wonderfully for Mardi Gras and the staff did everything they could to make the event a success. The food was great and there was plenty of it . We will be back ! Thank you Bamboulas!“

“My husband and I were looking for a spot with delicious oysters and good food for lunch and decided to try gallier's because the photos looked so good. We were not disappointed, it taste just as good as it looks. We got the oyster sampler with oysters 4 ways: raw, creole, chargrilled, and Rockefeller. All of which were very fresh & tasty. We also got the fried gator poboy & it was seasoned to perfection. The bread was so soft. Our waiter was tentative and friendly. The restaurant was clean & inviting. Strongly recommend this place“

“We came at 4, which is when they open. Perfect, no one was hardly there. Then, out of nowhere. A family of 10 with 8 kids all under the age of 11 was so loud and had no home training the adults didn't seem to mind either. Not to mention, the kids were all girls. Business is Business. I would say wayy too kid friendly of a “

“I really loved this place! The food was amazing. My group went for brunch and tried nearly everything. It was all soooooo good. My entire party of 11 was very happy. The service was also amazing! The visit was a month ago, so I don't remember her name, but our server was really sweet. She was on point with everything! The food and drink deliveries were perfectly timed. The server also had a guy helping her out and he was so sweet!!! I've never been to an establishment that had the food and service at a 10+ for me. It was an otherworldly experience for me.The atmosphere did leave a bit to be desired. The restaurant is in the CBD, which means parking is difficult. There is metered parking and some parking lots/garages around. It is also near the old Charity Hospital in NOLA, so it can seem a bit spooky in the area at night, as the building is empty. Also, it's industrial inside, which doesn't cut down on noise at all. Depending on where you sit, the noise can be a teeny bit overwhelming.Overall, this place is a 10 for me and I look forward to returning!Parking: Lots of metered parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wc accessibility here.“

“I took a chance to drive here w/ my wife from Baton Rouge. We've been fasting for Ramadhan, so I was praying they came through and didn't make me look bad in front of my wife. They offer the same sides w/o pork! I had the lamb chops, mixed greens, yams, potato salad and cornbread. My wife had the lamb chops and mac and cheese....The mac and cheese and cornbread were just okay in my opinion. Everything else was ???....Definitely ? them in!! I'll keep taking that ride w/o hesitation. Nice lil chill vibe inside. They didn't disappoint!“

“The host/manager was a bit off and made us stand in the doorway for several minutes before seating us in a near empty restaurant but once we were seated our server was great and the food was exceptional. Amazing gumbo and the crawfish mac and cheese was a winner. Solid drinks too. Check this place out.“

“Service was friendly professional and prompt. while food was exceptional, the presentationFor the chicken and waffles was subpar at best. It looked like my 16 year old prepared it. The waffleWas crispy and light though. The ambience was very crowded with minimal spaceFrom the neighboring tables. Would return for the gumbo“

“After a long trip and waiting to settle into the hotel we found this spot not more than a block away and kept going back over the course of the week even though we were just visiting and not for the convenience but the service was fantastic the food was amazing and overall just an incredible spot to check “

“It’s such a very calm and relaxing location to eat breakfast. The flow R&B music adds so much relaxation. We had Claudia as the table waiter and she is so kind, quick, attentive, and gentle. Always making sure we are ok and checking on us every 5-10mins. Claudia made things more enjoyable!“

“My fiancée and I just had an amazing brunch at Sbisa! I enjoyed the Eugene Omelette with crawfish, crab, and shrimp, and she had the Pain Perdue, which she said was the best French toast she's ever had. Our server Bill was outstanding... informative, pleasant, and most importantly ensured that our bottomless mimosas were indeed bottomless! If you're looking for a great Cajun / Creole brunch, with pleasant jazz, I highly recommend Sbisa!“

“Have been wanting to try this place for a long time especially considering their mission. Their hours of operation are a little difficult for the 9-5 time, but finally made it out. Everything was fresh to order. Staff were friendly. They have indoor seating, parking is street parking. The building vibe is loft style, with high ceilings which made the place feel spacious. It was a busy time however we were seated quickly. I think they put a lot of detail into the place. Really enjoyed the fried turkey necks and the sweet potato fries. Would go back for those.“

“We had to stop by at least one triple D spot while in New Orleans. The sides were the best thing here. The Po boys that were showcased decent. There is nothing to truly write home about. Our server was ok and seemed like they didn't want to be there. We had another server stop by the table while truly made the experience better. Otherwise 8/10.“

“My wife and I attended supper at Mosquito Supper Club this evening and I can safely say that it was my favorite meal I've ever eaten. We sat at a communal table and had a wonderful conversation with the other diners. The food was tremendously good, presented beautifully, and we left stuffed after four courses. We had so much fun and couldn't believe how delicious everything we ate was. Without a doubt the next time we come back to New Orleans we will dine here again, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a real, honest, authentic meal served with thought and care.“

“We are so glad we got a chance to eat here. The food was wonderful and service friendly. The prices are a bit high and the space is small, but overall we felt it was worth it. We tried: shallot dip, pork knuckles, coal roasted mushrooms, coal roasted sweet potato, cornbread, pickles, yardbird plate and chocolate cake. Everything was good! The favorites were the yardbird and sweet potato. And the cake was excellent.“

“This is outstanding fried chicken. I ate on-site, so it arrived at my table hot. Perfect balance of crunchy and tender, with a nice spicy kick. The coleslaw and beans were great, but the collard greens were especially tasty. If I lived nearby, I would be here at least once a week.“

“The food is perfectly delectable. Just what I needed! ?Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is NOT wheelchair accessible. There is no elevator to get to the main dining room or restroom upstairs. The only restroom I could use was in a different building, up and down several steps. I was exhausted after going to the bathroom.“
“The service here was sooooo slow. Spent 2 hours there but the food was really good! Order the alligator half fried half blackened. SO YUMMY! The shrimp and crawfish pasta comes with sooooo much seafood which is amazing! Shrimp po'boy is okay. Really yummy gumbo!“

“After a lifetime of Grits avoidance, it was Apolline that finally turned me - actually changed my mind. I was a "Grits Convert" they said, as if it were a common experience from their point of view.Maybe it was just the first time I'd experienced Grits as anything better than bland and uninspired gruel. Or maybe the preparation here was exceptional. Whatever the case, the Shrimp and Grits was irresistible. I felt a shade guilty, as if anything this good must be illegal, even in a city with few such social limitations.Short version: The food was excellent and the service was genuine. It was an easy place to enjoy, easier to recommend.“
“Holy Moly! As a born and bred South Georgia girl ( not really a girl anymore, lol) I know chicken. Or I thought I did. So when I say that this is without a doubt the best dang chicken sandwich on the planet, you can take that info to the BANK! My daughter Anna insisted we go there first thing as we attended the New Orleans Fried Chicken Festival and although we had some great dishes, this was just spectacular! Now have I ever called a chicken sandwich spectacular? Not once and I have had some really good ones in my lifetime.I just know when I win the lottery ( and I am lucky!) these will be the first folks I invest in. So if you want your tastebuds to be dancing all day, just go. I'm not normally this excited about something, but they have it going on!“

“The bartender who wrote the drink ? menu is EVERYTHING!!! I tried the pink squirrel, which is his grandmother’s old recipe, and it was great!!! Make sure you have the bread. It’s a sweet potato bread that’s absolutely delicious. I’ve even had breakfast here and it was absolutely delicious. For the Sunday brunch they really should have a smooth, jazz band to play I make the seating, more aesthetically pleasing. This is one of my favorite places to dine.Parking: Valet parking is convenient with validation stamp it’s under $20.“

“Even after more years than I can count (before Katrina) I continue to eat and rate their fried chicken the BEST in NEW ORLEANS. My partner and I bought a house one block from Jazz Fest only to discover that an epicurean fried chicken feast was within walking distance. I proudly wear my purple McHardy's t-shirt BUT I lust after a PINK shirt...hint hint. Y'all know who I am. It goes without saying that I highly recommend McHardy's to EVERYONE. You will enjoy.“

“I visited the location on Ponchatrain in Nola last night _ I will NEVER dine in late at night - The host was outside playing with the managers dog in the parking lot - She walked in the side door and greeted me picked up the menu and NEVER sanitized or washed her hands. The server complained about it being slow- My food came out cold- The manager on duty last didn't care- They put my side dishes in the microwave They served me the same cold chicken I sent back and just put it on the grill for a few minutes. Horrible customer service experience and the quality of the food was worse.“

“I recommend it but the young woman who is the hostess is very rude. When we walked in she told us they weren’t serving anyone due to the shift change, even though this one isn’t due to close at 9. She was very unprofessional and that is bad for business. Everyone in the restaurant were even talking about it.“

“Really enjoyed this weekday lunch. Have driven by so many times, and at times have totally missed it. Casual atmosphere inside with average crowd size and low noise level.Sara was our server. Friendly with a big smile. Made sure our drinks came out quickly & stayed full. Had honest answers when we asked questions. Fried okra appetizer was large, but the breading kept falling off, so we probably ate 1/3 of it and wasted the rest. I ordered the crab patty app for my entree, which had 3 of the largest, handmade patties I've ever seen. They were too much for one person, kind of overwhelming though tasty. The star of the lunch was the Sexy Pig po-boy with hot patty sausage and pepper jack cheese. The menu said grilled ham as well, but there was also pulled pork on it, and that pulled pork by itself had the most amazing smoked flavor I've ever tasted. Ever. It was also the most expensive po-boy we've ever purchased - $19.25, fries extra - but we'd do it again. Took the white chocolate bread pudding to go. Even a week later when I remembered it was in the refrigerator and reheated it, it was SO good.Moral of the story: skip the okra, bring a friend to help with the crab cakes, order the po-boy, and ask for Sara.“
