We got the level 3 to start, and didn’t find it too spicy; but my husband and I love chilis and the endorphin rush that comes with them. Next time we will try 4 or 5. I appreciate the policy for no exchanges or refunds for food that is too spicy. At other Thai restaurants we ask for food to be Thai hot, and we usually get blown off. We’ll be back!!”

Something about my order came through as 2 burgers. We come back 20 minutes later. Not only do they bring out my food TO me but they also threw in the 2 burgers that the mix up came through as for free! Ray was the gentleman who assisted me, couldn’t have been more pleasant. 10/10 choice for dinner tonight on service alone”

“We went to Da Parish Snack & Snowballs for opening day and the buy get one free special. Service was quick, polite, and friendly. I love snowballs and have always gone to the one closer to my house that I've gone to since I was a child but after our visit today, we will drive a little further to come here! The chocolate was delicious and the cheesecake flavor was amazing! I was also surprised at how generous the sizes are, we bought mediums and they were quite big. They were also very generous with the syrup which we loved since dry snowballs aren't as good. My kids love that they also have snack food and candy. Having a baby, it's also convenient that they have a drive thru! We will def. be back!”

“I bought this cup for my sister while she was visiting for Mardi Gras. When she went to wash it out this happened. I spent $20 on this cup. She didn't use bleach or anything that would make it do this. Service was Great and the Lady was there by herself.”

Honestly It was my 2nd time here & LOVED BOTH TIMES. Played pool , loved that huge ?? / The darts were very nice too. I Love the patio. Spent 3 hrs here. HAD A GOOD TIME. (FYI I suggest coming here for Halloween costume contest - That was my 1st time and FULL BAR / INSIDE & OUT) HAD A BLAST danced the night away) If I could change 1 thing I'd add more independent artist to the jukebox! I know they can I worked at a bar had the same company jukebox!

I'd recommend The backyard bar, to anyone of any age group 21-30 30 -40 & even 70 plus my Nanny, Aunts, Uncle's & My Grandpa,94yrs old didn't drink alcohol but he enjoyed kicking butt on that pool table.
Definitely check this place out ! It's a Winner to me!

Also indoors is spacious with large dance floor, stage, perfect lighting nice table's, OH the and dart boards are professional.Love the Dart board section. 2 pool tables, I remembered a foosball table for the October 2023 Halloween Costume Contest & Party ? sure. Didnt see one for the PartyAug10th2024 ?
Oh I do have 1 tiny thing to ask the owner "CAN YOU PLEASE GET A LADIES BATHROOM" I'm sure your aware it's a little small. If you need help with ideas, I'm ya girl. My husband's, a Ace plumber! My son's a perfectionist, he transforms- remodels homes & businesses indoors and outdoors!
I'm not saying anything bad about your bar, I'm just giving advice on the bathrooms!

The guy working went above and beyond multiple times in our short visit! He was so patient with my 4 year old as he made his selection! He unfortunately dropped his cone and the young man was so quick to help! My daughter left her purse and he ran it out to us in our vehicle! Just a very wonderful experience!! “So today I brought my family to UMI Hibachi and sushi in Chalmette to celebrate the twins birthday. We was given the lunch menu and ordered of the the lunch menu. I saw the the kids meal was $9.99 and the Lunch meal was $10.50. I specifically ask the young man what was the 50 cent difference between the kids lunch meal and the regular lunch meal . He told me that the lunch meal came with noodles. So I told him we’ll just give my boys a regular lunch meal. As he started to bring out the salad and soup I notice he only brought out one set for one of my boys. I told him I want the lunch meal for all of them. So he came back with more 2 sets of salad and soup. After we finish eating I get my bill and he charge us for the dinner combination Vs the lunch meal. I told him that not what I ordered. The dinner combination meals are $26.99 each . He said that we received dinner combinations portions so that what I have to paid for. First, I don’t have a problem with paying but that not what I ordered. I ask to speak with the manager . The manager send the waiter back and told him to tell us that there’s no negotiation it’s either we pay are else . So I’m the wrong individual to threaten like that. I send him back to his manger to tell her I’m not paying for nothing I didn’t ordered. The manager then came out and said the owner said that either we pay the dinner combination price or they was going to call the police . Now I feel very disrespected because you’re trying to make me pay for something I didn’t ordered, you’re also not trying to negotiate. So I told them to call the cop because the cop don’t scare me. The cop came and heard both side of the story . Ì eventually paid for what I originally ordered but the owner also ban me from the establishment. I’m writing this because this restaurant treated me and my family very unfairly. We went in there to celebrate the twins birthday because that what they wanted . If this was a black business ppl would blast them all over the internet. Please don’t go to to this business. Especially if you’re black… The owner wasn’t there but I know he knew I was black and while he was on the phone he kept telling the cop that I know he don’t want to paid . The cop kept telling him the guy has no problem with paying but only what he ordered. He ban me because they was wrong lol .. I already had it in my mind that I’ll never go back anyways .. Once again THANK YOU UMI Hibachi and sushi in Chalmette for messing up my sons birthday celebration…”
