“My husband and I went to Saba for brunch after multiple recommendations from friends and strangers. Wow… it was absolutely delicious. Some of our favorites were the variety of sodas, crab hummus, eggplant dip and fried chicken. “I’m not really a big fan of Mediterranean cuisines, but this place is so authentic that I keep wanting to come back. I love how they provide huge portions of complimentary bread before your meal and pair it with pickled veggies. I ordered the fried kibby, lamb chops, chicken tikka, and beef shawarma. The portions are ginormous and definitely worth the price!!! You can tell everything is homemade, and my favorite is the hummus! It’s soooo good!!!! What made my dining experience even better was the service. Our waiter was phenomenal. Very attentive and accommodating to our requests!“
“This place now has our hearts. My husband is Tunisian and one of the main reasons we wanted to come to NOLA was to eat some traditional Tunisian food. We could not have been happier. “This place is AMAZING! I ordered 2 bowls with lemon chicken, seasoned rice, feta, Kalamata olives, cucumber tomato salad, red onions, topped with garlic green beans and finished with delicious Tzatziki sauce and a little salt and pepper, man oh man was it delicious! My sister (to whom the second bowl was for) and I have found our new favorite place, I’d give more stars if I could. “So I have to say I went to eat here last night and I was here probably 2 weeks prior but last night wasn't quite as fresh as the first time I was there. I mean don't get me wrong, the food is still really good but I guess my expectations were a little higher because of my first experience... Nonetheless I would still recommend this place because the food is good and the service is great and they tend to be open a little later than a lot of other places so I'll definitely come back but just keep an eye on the quality of some things.Parking: Normally there is adequate parking but last night was really crowded and it was a little difficult to get a spot.“
“The food is INSANELY good. We had the lamb chops and the Middle eastern paella, best cooked lamb I have had in a while, crispy and charred on the outside and perfectly soft and seasoned on the inside. The paella with the saffron rice was so flavorful. I don't know what spice combinations were included but it was very balanced. The rice that was added to our order came out a little slow but besides that our orders came out quite quickly and staff was attentive. Be aware,the menu options are limited but probably a sign that every dish is made with care and attention. Will be coming back.“

“The food here is excellent. I had white fish Moroccan style and my husband had the lamb ragu. Both dishes were amazing. “What an authentic JEWEL!!!We had 8 people with hungry appetites and this restaurant was perfect. If you love fresh and delicious food, go ahead and try the gyro plate, so good. A bunch of our crew had the chicken shawarma, and they loved it. I'm still not totally sure what was in the rice, but it was cooked and seasoned to perfection.Really accommodating and just a pleasure to sit and enjoy authentic, fresh, and perfectly seasoned food.I really wish I had taken a picture, but I just dug right in.Kid-friendliness: Our server was very patient with our youngest son who really just wanted some chicken, and she made it happen. “The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty. The swarma plate is huge and comes with very tasty rice and a salad. The meat is seasoned well and the salad dressing was wonderful. Not enough pita bread so order extra. One thing though... the Baba Ganou does not come with pita bread. You have to order that separately. Ask for some extra pita bread and you'll be fine!“
